Chapter 10: The Gift!

9:30am

Kagome was in the kitchen making some breakfast. All she could think about was the kiss she gave Inuyasha yesterday. She couldn't believe she did it!!! But to her, when she kissed him, she felt like she was in heaven, touching and feeling the warmth of his lips. Kagome was so into her daydream, she didn't realized that Inuyasha was sitting in front of her, stareing at her.

"Hey." he said in a low, sexy voice.

"Umm...OH! Good Morning...Inuyasha!" she said nervously

"What's the matter? Are you ok?"

Inuyasha knew what was going on. He wanted to hold his smile, but he was to happy to hold it back.

"I'm...I'm...fine."

"You sure? You look red? Are you hot?"

Inuyasha had a cocky smile, and walked towards Kagome, and touched her forehead, checking her temperture. Kagome soon noticed that Inuyasha was...shirt-less. It made her get more red, and...well...you could say hot.

"No..no...you're fine."

"Yeah...fine...just fine...so...umm...here...your breakfast."

Kagome made eggs and bacon with toast. She walked towards Inuyasha to give him his breakfast, just as she was going to walk away to sit down, Inuyasha touch her hand, tracing small circles on her palm. Inuyasha learned that when you do that, it makes the person hot. Kagome knew what it meant and looked straight into his golden eyes.

'GOD...DOES HE KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS???'

"Inuyasha..." saying in a low voice while moving to his face.

"Yes." He said in low voice.

"...eat your breakfast."

"...ok."

Inuyasha ate his breakfast unusually slow. On the other hand, Kagome ate with the quickness, and went to her room. Inuyasha couldn't help but extend his smile.

'Kagome...you have no idea what's coming to you!'

7:58pm (Geez...time moves fast here:))

Kagome was in her room, getting ready for the dance. She took out the very revealing green dress. She smiled at the thought of what Inuyasha might look when he sees her in the dress. She couldn't wait to see Inuyasha in his tux's. Before gettiing dress she noticed that there was no moon, and that Inuyasha will been in his human form tonight. She couldn't wait to see him, to dance with, to hold him.
Inuyasha was in his room, also getting ready. He smiled at the fact of being with Kagome, dancing with her, kissing her. Once he got dressed he made sure he looked good and ready. He went to the living room, waiting to see what Kagome is going to look like in the dress she brought. But to him, Kagome will always look beautiful.
Kagome was happy, yet very nervous. She was going to her 1st date with Inuyasha...well...her 1st date...ever. She waited for this day for a long time. After 20 minutes of getting ready, fixing her hair, and putting her shoes, she was finally done.
Kagome walked very slowly to the living room, feeling very nervous, she could feel butterflies in her stomach. Once she got there, she could see Inuyasha by the window, daydreaming, and smiling sweetly.
Inuyasha didn't notice she was there, since he doesn't have his superior senses.

'He looks so handsome.'

"Amen"

Inuyasha turned his head to find Kagome in dress in which was very revealing. A green sheer dress, he could see everthing...well almost everything...the dress displayed the curves of her body, and roundness of her breasts. He stared as if he was striked by lighting. Kagome couldn't help but giggle.

'Good God...what beauty!'

"Well, are you going stay there and drool, or... are we going to the
dance?"

Inuyasha came back to reality and walked towards Kagome.

'God...she's beautiful!' "Yeah...let's...get going."

"You look...Good."

"So...do you...too good."

Kagome and Inuyasha walked to the car, and soon drove to Eri's house. She knock on the door.

"Hey Kagome! WHOA!!! This is your date?!"

"Yeah...Eri...meet Inuyasha...Inuyasha meet Eri, the birthday girl!"

"Hey..Happy Birthday."

"Thanks, please come in and have fun...Kagome?"

"Yeah..what?"

"Can I PLEASE have a dance with him? PLEASE???"

"No way...not on your life!"

"I don't like you" *sticks out her tongue*

"Too bad" Kagome giggle.

After 15 minutes of the party, Kagome heard one of her favorite songs.

Inuyasha took Kagome to the dance floor, and started to slow dance.
Kagome wraped her arms around him, letting herself follow his body movements. Inuyasha had his arms around her waist, and pulling closer to him. Kagome was very happy to his reaction, and just let him have his way. She didn't want the song to end.

The dance party went by, and it was time to go home. Kagome loved the party, especially dancing with Inuyasha, but what got her annoyed was all the girls wanted to dance with Inuyasha. But of course, Inuyasha turn them down, which cause Kagome to be a very happy Kagome. Finally they got home, Kagome was a bit tried, but she didn't want the night to end.

"Wait here."

"For what?"

"Just stay here."

Inuyasha ran inside the house, and quickly came back out.

"Ok...come in."

Kagome went inside...looking at Inuyasha as if he was crazy.

"...ok? Why did you tell me to wait outside?"

"Here...it's for you!"

Inuyasha handed a small box with a little white bow on top.

"What's this?"

"Open it!"

Kagome opened the box, and was shock at what she saw.

"Inuyasha...it's...beautiful!"

She read what it said on the pendent: "To My Love, Kagome"

Kagome started to cry, she couldn't believe what it read...he loves her.

"Kagome...you..."

Kagome was so happy with the gift, she took him into a passionate kiss. Inuyasha was a bit suprised, but relaxed and returned her kiss.
They broke off after a minute of their passionate kiss.

"I Love you...Kagome!"

"I love you too."
