InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Dark Moon ❯ Chapter 1 ( Chapter 1 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Kagome sat in the back of a warm classroom. She glanced outside and smirked.
'My kind of weather,' she thought to her self, as she watched dark, looming clouds hide the sun from sight. She wore a black, loose, classic skull T-shirt, dark tight jeans, and black high heeled boots. To complete it she wore a spiked bracelet and a back, thin choker, with a silver chain hanging from her jeans. She had long black hair to her waist, and some deep silver streaks.
Glancing at the wall clock she began to close her book up. The bell rang and she stood up, accidentally knocking her notebook to the ground. She bent down to grab it, but someone beat her to it.
“Fall into your mommy's makeup drawers?” a boy with sea blue eyes, that flickered with insanity (A/N I had to stick that in somewhere!) smirked as she glared,” What cha' gonna do? Kagome's black, dark eyes flickered with anger, she raised a hand, and punched him hard across the cheek.
"That." She took her book from his hand and walked off. She would have killed him if he had opened the book; it was what held her songs. Kagome was a writer, she wrote songs, played guitar, and sung. (Triple threat.)
She stormed off to her locker. Opening it, she checked herself in her mirror (she is still a girl!), her black eyeliner was slightly smudged, but it looked better that way to her, her maroon lipstick was still dark, and all her earrings were still present. Grabbing, her purse, she left the hallways. Sitting outside, she walked over to her car, a black Ferrari. Lucky her, her parents are rich. This car was really the only proof. She jumped in and left the school grounds.
'Off to the `The Pit',' she thought. Kagome was in a band, and was lead singer, guitarist too. There was only two other members, but they still rocked. She put on her sunglasses and drove down the road.
As she pulled up into the driveway, she noticed her fellow band members.
"Hey guys," she said casually, as she parked beside the car they leaned against.
"Hey Kags," one of them said to her, the other one nodded, to acknowledge her.
"When's our gig?" Kagome asked.
"Tomorrow night," one said casually. He had black hair to his shoulders, pulled back to a low ponytail. He also had 2 god hoops on his left ear, 3 on the right, and 1 on his lip. He was tall and quite lean. He wore a little eye liner and black bracelets with a silver skull hanging off a couple. He had deep purple eyes, and had a very carefree, beat you up, better than you look.
"WHAT!!!!!" Kagome screamed.
"It was the only time we could get Kagome," the other one said, he had a deep, smooth voice, amber eyes, and long silver hair flowed down his back. He wore a black T-shirt that read Death to all in red, bloody looking letters. He had on black jeans too. He had marking on his face too, that showed he was full-blooded youkai. He had 2 magenta stripes on each cheek and wrist, and a purple, backwards crescent moon on his head (A/N for anyone who disagrees, it's with a backwards moon in the original manga).
"It was the only time we could get!" the first one cried out, dodging her punch.
"Miroku! You idiot! We have to practice, and I gotta go shopping, hell, I'm still a girl ya'know it takes TIME to get ready!" Miroku hid behind the other guy.
"Calm down Kagome!" The guy said.
"Sesshomaru! You stupid bitch! You should have stopped him from saying yes!" Kagome began to ramble. The boys sighed. This always happened before a gig. They grabbed Kagome's guitar case out of her car, along with Sesshomaru's base guitar, and walked inside, Kagome still freaking out behind them.
As they walked into the club, they headed towards a small stage by the dance floor and bar. There were purple walls, with silver furniture. The floor was pure black, and there were lights everywhere.
The three walked over to the stage. Already, a drum set was set up, along with some mikes.
Kagome took a deep breathe, and finally shut up.
"Thank god," Sesshomaru muttered. He grabbed his base guitar and climbed on stage. Miroku grabbed his drumsticks and followed.
Kagome grabbed her guitar and jumped up on the stage beside Sesshomaru.
Kagome whispered into Sesshomaru's ear, then to Miroku's. She nodded, and they began to play, she began to sing.
As they ended the song, they heard a clapping from the back of the room. A man walked over to them.
"Well done, I can't wait until the show," he grinned, he had a chilling voice, greasy black hair, and fangs. His eyes were piercing through Kagome, as he looked over her body hungrily. His name was Onigumo, the owner of The Pit. Not exactly a nice man, but he let them perform there, so they had to put up with him.
"Thanks," Kagome said blankly. She turned to Sesshomaru and slightly nodded. He walked over to her, and kissed on the cheek. Winking at her, he walked back to his place. She laughed inside as Onigumo scowled and walked out of the room.
"Thanks Sess," Kagome winked at him, and they continued to play.

~~~~~3 Hours Later~~~~~
"I'm so going to kill you guys!" Kagome threatened her two friends. They walked through the mall, looking with Kagome. She said she needed something to wear for their gig. She dragged them into her favorite store, and grinned.
Kagome automatically dug through the clothes and rushed into a change room. Sighing, Sesshomaru waited patiently out side the stall. During the time, Miroku had slipped off to flirt with one of the cashiers, so Sesshomaru, stood there like an idiot, talking to a stall.
"Hurry up Kags, we don't have too long."
"Shut up, I know that we have your house to ourselves," Kagome replied.
"Fine," he mumbled. Five minutes later, Kagome emerged, holding a dress in her hands.
"It fits!" she said, her eyes gleaming, as she walked over to cashier, who had just slapped Miroku. Paying for the dress, they walked out of the mall, to Kagome's car.
