Sesshoumaru tore through his bedroom, destroying everything he could get his claws on. He was aroused and angry. He should have just taken her then and been spared this agony of need, yet something inside of him snapped when he thought of all she had been through. She went through countless times of sexual abuse from that demon infested man, if he wanted to have her willing in the future, he could not be so careless.

The need of taking her hard and relentlessly would just have to wait until she submitted herself to him, became used to his touch. Only then would she crave him, desire him, and he would just use her to sate his lust. To destroy this spell she wound over him of infatuation for her body, her lips, her innocent soul, the way he wanted to ravage it until it was corrupted with insatiable sexual cravings for his touch…

Slamming his fist into the wall, causing it to crack beneath the force, he screamed out with frustration. “I need blood!” Sesshoumaru raged when he realized where his thoughts were taking him. He needed some way to take his heated frenzy out quickly. Destroying furniture only went so far, it could not fight back.

He flew out the double door terrace, into the dark night to release his wrath upon whatever misfortunate creature came his way upon his lands. Tonight was a night of darkness needing released, any who heard the howl when Sesshoumaru became his full demon form, closed their doors and prayed it would only last a short time, that whatever was bothering him would be resolved and quickly.

Kagome awoke to the horrendous sound in the distance. It sounded like a raging beast, howling out his misfortunes and anger to the world. She shivered slightly, wrapped her body up with a light blanket and moved to close the window. The night was clear, crisp and cool.

Sitting back down upon her makeshift harem bed, she sighed. “What I wouldn’t give for television, or even a game boy.” She laughed slightly. After all the horrible things she had been through, the things she wanted most was electronic entertainment.

She should be thinking about how to escape, but her mind refused because Naraku was close within the confines of her thoughts and if she left the safety of Sesshoumaru, she would be at Naraku’s mercy and his perversions once again. At least Sesshoumaru could be fought off or maybe won over after a period of time.

He must have had a soft spot for ningens at one point, because of his attitude towards Rin. She remembered well when he went after Rin several times. Even though he did not outwardly show his affection, his protective nature was there against Naraku and even a group of priests one time.

He had protected Inuyasha and the group, whether unintentionally or not a few times as well. He really wasn’t a bad guy, merely a lonely, grumpy one. Striving for power constantly would make one such as he like that through time and he had been around a long time to be a taiyoukai. “Oh, how I would like to just be home and away from Mr. Grumpy-sama and that sick freak in my head.” Kagome cursed aloud before a small sigh of depression escaped her lips.

“I am alone. My friends are gone, my love is gone, my family gone. Best stay with the lesser of two evils, yet… how long can I put him off and how long will Naraku stay from my mind before he comes back and taunts me, tortures me? How long before Sesshoumaru will notice something strange is going on as well….” She sighed again sadly. How had her life become this complicated and when? It used to be simple. Just unadulterated love for Inuyasha, while her biggest concern was if he was with Kikyo or not.

She stood and walked towards the door. She was hungry, her appetite was unfulfilled while with Sesshoumaru. She pulled on the door hoping it would open this time. Luck was finally on her side when it open noisily into the dark, empty hallway. “Now.. Kitchen…” She wandered aimlessly throughout the corridors, afraid of bumping into someone but hopeful as well for she was hopelessly lost now. She swore she was gone for at least thirty minutes or more.

“You! Girl!” Cried someone at the end of the hallway. Kagome ran slightly afraid of being punished for leaving her room in search of food. She made it around the next corridor and thought she had lost whoever it was following her. When she turned around again, she bumped into a hard chest. Looking up, the moonlight only allowed her to see deep emerald green eyes staring down at her with satisfaction.

“Where were you going girl? You were not to leave your room.” He flashed a sexy grin.

“I.. Uh.. I…” She turned to flee again, but her wrist was caught quickly and she was thrown off balance slightly. The mysterious man caught her and growled under his breath. “Sorry.” Was all she could breathe out breathlessly.

“I will ask only once again. Where were you going?” She could see in his eyes that he would give her just punishment if she did not answer and quickly.

“Kitchen. I was hungry. No one was around to ask so I went off on my own. Please do not punish me, I beg of you.” Kagome sniffed slightly. She could have used her powers to fend this beast off, but knew the more she used them the longer it would be before she had enough to leave this place and all the demons that plagued her.

The man released her quickly and she fell ungraciously to the floor. He sniffed the air as if deciding what to do. “Very well, follow me to the kitchen, then you will return to your room immediately. The lord will not be pleased to learn his ward was wandering while he was not in residence.” He said with arrogance. Turning quickly to her, Kagome stopped herself shy from bumping into him again. “How did you leave your room? Was it not guarded?”

Kagome tried to swallow the lump in her throat but her mouth was as dry as cotton. Should she tell him no one was placed and the doors were unlocked? Or say the guard let her out to get food but lost one another in the dark hallways? “Umm…” She stared down. ‘If he is anything like Sesshoumaru, best not to lie.’ “There was no guard and the door wasn’t locked.”

He turned and started walking again and she followed in silence. “I thought as much.” He whispered. He led her into a dimly lit room. It looked like the cooking quarters. A small fire was still within the hearth to allow heat. “What is it you are hungry for? Looks like there is fruits, rice and meat left.” He used his hand indicating the food on the low cutting tables.

Kagome wandered over to it and stared at all the foods. The meat looked fresh as did the fruits. Yet how hungry was she truly. She did not want to eat over abundantly, good foods were not easy to come by. Her stomach growled loudly and she flushed for she was sure he had heard it. “Umm… may I have a bit of all?”

She heard him grunt with satisfaction, as if he was afraid because of his presence she would refrain from eating a decent meal. He placed the rice into the steamer to warm and the meat upon the spit. As the flames flickered the uncomfortable silence wore on. Kagome finally got the nerve to talk. “Umm.. Sir.. What is your name? I am Kagome.”

The green eyed inuyoukai looked at her curiously. “I am called Taro.” He turned away from her and focused on the food once again. Kagome cleared her throat once more preparing to speak, when he slammed the mutton on the table sizzling. She jumped from the sudden action and bumped into the steaming pot burning her arm on the side.

“Ow!” She cried out. Suddenly he was at her side, grasping the injured arm and eyeing it carefully. His touch sent small streams of what felt like hot spasms through her body. She flushed, embarrassed that she had clumsily hurt herself in front of him. “I am fine. Thank you.” She said with as much conviction as she could. Staring up at him, she saw he was no longer focused on her wound but her lips.

She stared at him for what felt like forever, drinking in his features. His silver hair with a violet hue, the pale delicate skin so much like Sesshoumaru, his markings different though, instead of the magenta stripes they were an aqua color, upon his wrists and face, but he bore no crescent moon upon his forehead. She looked into his eyes finally and gasped as his green eyes turned a deep crimson, as a low growl tore from his throat before his lips came crashing upon hers.

Breathing slowly, Kagome tried to release herself from his grasp but he pulled her tighter to him. She continued to pound against his chest with her fist, but soon the forceful punches turned to her hand resting upon his hard chest. Something about him sent thrills throughout her body, small shocks of pleasure deep down to her center, it was unlike anything she had experienced before.

As soon as it was there, it was gone. The cool rush of the night’s air was against her, leaving her feeling vacant. Taro was no longer there, he had fled. ‘Who is he?’ Kagome asked herself, surprised and now guilty about the way she gave into a complete stranger. Kagome sat and began to eat quickly although her appetite was no longer focused on food, but something she never felt before. Desire.

“Girl!!!!” Came a loud, fierce yell from somewhere within the castle walls. Sesshoumaru had come back, only to find Kagome’s room empty and no guards at her door. Following her scent, he found her in the kitchen, eating like one starved. Yet what caught him off guard was the scent of her arousal and fear. Still… the scent was not alone. Although masked as best as possible, another male had been in here, had touched her.

“Who was here with you?” Sesshoumaru demanded striding over to her. Kagome stood up and looked at him with fearful eyes.. She became afraid he would kill Taro, would even kill her if she told him. Suddenly a pain seared through her mind while a malicious laugh echoed all over. Kagome’s eyes widened with terror before she fell to the floor in a dead faint.

Sesshoumaru picked her up. He was angry, but did not mean to terrify the girl so much she fainted. “Weak humans.” He sniffed the air once more trying to figure out who had caused this kind of reaction from her when it should have been from him. He could not pinpoint the scent.

Staring down at her limp form Sesshoumaru quickly took her back to her room and placed her upon the pillows. Before leaving he gently traced her lips, as he did so her face contorted into a pained look and tears seeped out from the corner of her eyes. Whatever had happened, even in her sleep she rejected him. He stood quickly leaving her room angry and strangely hurt by her reaction to his touch.

Gomen ne for taking so long to update. Hope you liked the chapter. I am introducing a new character, Taro, for a twist later in time. Taro and Kagome have an extreme unexplained attraction for each other at this point in time so that is why it just happened sporadically. I hope to elaborate more throughout the story and hope that I did well introducing him.
