--Chapter one: Depressed soul--

Kagome pushed ebony locks of hair from her face to show gray blue eyes. Her young features were soft. "Inuyasha, I'm going to my time!" The fifteen year old waited for no reply. Usually the hanyou(a/n from MikoGirlKagome1:hanyou means half demon) with long silver hair and amber eyes would tell her 'no' that's why she just ran for the well. She hoped that his sensitive dog ears atop his head had heard her, but she was almost positive he'd heard.
Lately the feudal era had been upsetting. Kikyo had died. So, Inuyasha was mopping from time to time. Koga, the young okami (a/n from MikoGirlKagome1:okami means wolf) male who owned his own clan, had eyes of chocolate and black hair placed in a headband. Koga's okami tribe had been in a war with a neko clan. Amazingly, Koga lost half of his okami tribe, but won the war. Ayame was a young female okami who led her own tribe with green eyes and red hair that was usually up in piggy tails. Ayame's clan had also been halfly reduced. Both Koga and Ayame were stressed now and wanted release. So, pretty much of the feudal era depressed Kagome. She wanted her own relief.
Koga sat alone in a cave far from his left over pack. He looked out the cave entrance sulking. 'How could I let them die..Man, it seems lonely..' Koga thought as he cheerished the little of his pack he had left that included Hikaku and Ginta.
Kagome ran into her home. "Hi mom! Any calls?"
Kagome's mother turned to her. "Oh, hi honey! Oh, Hojo called wanting to know if you would go to the movies with him to see Memories Of A Geisha."
Kagome smiled and said, "Thanks mom. I got to go call him." She was glad summer break was there. She ran up to her room and picked up the cordless phone and dialed seven numbers.
"Hojo here." A familiar voice came over Kagome's receiver
"Hi Hojo! I heard that you wanted to go to a movie.. um.. I'd like to go.. When though and where?" Kagome spoke over the phone.
Hojo smiled shyly as he moved his short brown bangs from his chocolate eyes. "Okay.. Want to meet me at Wacdonald's at three today and we'll grab a bite then head to the movies?"
Kagome delightedly answered, "Sure! I've been so stressed. Meet you in twenty minutes at Wacdonald's!"
Kagome stiffeled a giggle as Hojo walked ahead of her. He was embarrassed at how someone had called the movie a 'chick flick' and asked him if he was 'gay'.
Many people had told Hojo not to worry that the man was rude anyway, but Hojo was still a shy guy.
Kagome gasped as a car swirved by Hojo and the driver pulled out a gun. "Hojo! Move!" She shouted, but it was to late Hojo was lying on the ground in a pool of crimson blood.
Kagome lay in her bed crying. The doctors had just announced Hojo death. His killer had shot him in his heart. The killer claimed Hojo had been hitting on his sister, but Kagome knew Hojo was to sweet to hit on an eleven year old child.
Kagome had not been to the feudal era for three days now. She now were a black skirt that came an inch or two above her knees. Her top consisted of a red tanktop that showed a little of her flat stomach and belly button. Her family had left to meet her aunt, but she did not go because of her sadness and did not want her aunt to see her so upset.
Inuyasha finally decided to go get Kagome from her era. "Stupid wench is taking forever I'm going to get her." Inuyasha muttered.
Kagome sat alone in a corner staring out her window. She had her arms around her legs that were against her chest. She was wearing a light tint of black eyeliner under her eyes.
Inuyasha leapt into a tree outside of Kagome's window. He saw her in the corner and leapt onto the side of the window. He opened it and jumped into her room. He strolled over to Kagome and asked her, "What's taking you so long to come back?"
Kagome looked up at Inuyasha and spoke, "I just needed some time. Okay? Is that so bad?"
"No, I guess not." Inuyasha walked over to Kagome's bed and sat down. Silence filled the room with an awkardness until Inuyasha said, "We're leaving tonight." He then flipped on Kagome's television expecting her to begin to pack up.
"No." Kagome said.
"Yes, we are leaving." Inuyasha argued.
"I need some time here Inuyasha. If you want to stay with me do so. My friend just died before my very eyes and my family left to my aunt's. They'll be gone for two weeks." Kagome agreesively spoke her thoughts of how she would stay if he approved or not.
"Fine. Whatever. I guess I should stay here with you." Inuyasha snorted.
Kagome stood and walked over to her bed. "Good night Inuyasha. You may sleep in my room on the floor or in the living room on the couch. Also there is the hallway."
"I'll sleep in your room on the floor." Inuyasha announced.

Koga sat alone in his cave thinking of Ayame. The one he promised to marry that he had descrite feelings for. He always chased after Kagome, but he didn't know who he liked better Ayame or Kagome. Well, Ayame was his type..
Ayame wanted to converse with Koga. She searched frantically for Koga. She came upon a small cave and decided to go in due to her exhaustion. She thought about putting off finding Koga until the morning and that was exactly what she planned to do.
Koga opened his eyes. "Ayame?"
"Oh, hi Koga! I didn't know you were here! I was looking for you everywhere!" Ayame exclaimed.
"Hmm? Why were you looking for me?" Koga asked calmly.
"I wanted to talk to you." Ayame briefly announced.
"What about?" Koga asked confused.
"Do you..like Kagome better than..me?" Ayame stuttered.
Koga sat shocked as he looked at Ayame. "I'm..Ayame, I've got to admit.. I'm in love with you and I think mutt face is better for her." This was hard for Koga to admit,but he knew it was true.
Ayame turned and walked to the entrance of the cave. "That's all I wanted to know. See you later."
Koga growled. "Okay, I finally admit this and you're just going to walk off?"
"Well, I just didn't know what else to do." Ayame admitted.
"Do you love me Ayame?" Koga asked.
"Um.. Er.. uh.." Is all that Ayame could get out before running out the cave entrance.
"Ayame! Come back! Please.. I just want to know.." Koga's voice trailed off before he sighed.

Kagome cryed silently hoping Inuyasha was asleep. "It's all my fault.. I should've stayed home.. I'm so sorry Hojo.." Kagome sobbed into her pillow quietly as she shuddered.
Inuyasha looked up at the crying girl from where he slept. "What's wrong now?" Inuyasha groggily groaned.
"It was my fault." Kagome whined.
"What was?" Inuyasha asked.
"Hojo's death.." Kagome said in a broken voice.
"How could that be?" Inuyasha aske soothingly.
Kagome looked at Inuyasha through tear stained eyes. "I went to the movies with him and he got shot when he was walking me home."
"It couldn't be your fault then, was there a reason for him being shot?" Inuyasha soothingly asked.
"Yeah, the killer said he was hitting on his eleven year old sister, but Hojo wouldn't do that." Kagome whined before sniffling and hugging herself before she burst into tears once more.
Inuyasha got up ontop of Kagome's bed and pulled her into his arms. "It wasn't your fault Kagome." Inuyasha said as he rubbed her back.
Kagome looked up to Inuyasha and gave a small sniffle. "Thank you." Kagome curled up in Inuyasha's arms and rest her head on his chest. Her breathing began to steady and she fell asleep quickly.
When Inuyasha knew Kagome was asleep he put her down on her bed and then he went back to his 'room' on the floor.

Koga awoke to a bright morning. He gave a lazy yawn and stretched out. "Ugh.. Now what? Where's Ayame?" Koga asked himself. Koga stepped out of the cave and followed Ayame's scent.
Ayame was asleep still. She was in an abadoned hut.
Koga sat by a window and watched Ayame intently.
Ayame slowly awoke and saw Koga sitting there watching her sleep. "Whattcha doin'?"
"Nothing. I am watching you to make sure you answer my inquiry." Koga broadly announced.
"Well, you won't get it ya know?" Ayame told him.
"Ayame! I told you my feelings and we are engaged." Koga spoke and stood. He strolled over to her and sat by her.
"I can't tell you." Ayame spoke camly.
"What? Why?" Koga said with annoyance in his voice.

"Fine." Koga said. He stood and walked toward the door. "I'll be in the cave up north.. Alone.. I need time from my pack."
