Chapter three: Confusion + Death

Inuyasha's eyes opened to met the site of Kagome's face. He smiled. (a/n: He's a hanyou now.) Inuyasha noticed Kagome shiver. She was curled into a small ball hugging herself. His eyes roamed on until he saw her shirt. Well, where her shirt should've been. He shook the small girl.
Kagome's eyes fluttered open. She recalled the night before. She immediately clung to Inuyasha's red haori.
"What the hell did I do last nite Kagome!?" Inuyasha spoke as calmly as he possibly could.
Kagome paled then turned bright red as she explained.
"I-I killed Kikyo!?" Inuyasha asked harshly.
Kagome just nodded.
Inuyasha threw his haori over Kagome. "I'm sorry. Kagome, I must be alone. But just for a while. We'll talk later."
Kagome was at the brink of tears. "So, you just want to drop it? Why not talk now? What if Naraku abducts me and ends up actually killing me this time? I stopped you from hurting me. I'm sorry, but I was not concious to stop Kikyo's death. But I know why you killed her. You told me before I fell asleep."
Inuyasha stormed away before Kagome could inform Inuyasha on why he killed Kikyo. He was to upset to listen.

Kagome relaxed against the cave wall. Inuyasha had left that morning. It was now dark out. Shivers went through Kagome's body. A form entered the cave. Kagome closed her eyes in pure fear.
Strong arms wrapped around Kagome. "Kagome, forgive me..please." Inuyasha pleaded.
Kagome embraced Inuyasha. "You came back! I thought I'd be left to die.."
Inuyasha snorted. "Nonsense!"
"She told you to kill me, but you didn't so she almost killed me. That's why you killed Kikyo." Kagome apologetically announced.
Inuyasha embraced the fatigue female. "Shh.. It's okay.." Inuyasha soothingly said.
"No, because when I was concious.. I never said the word you hate that sends you to the ground. I was to scared." Kagome whined.
Inuyasha gaped at her "Baka!"
Kagome stood and pushed away from Inuyasha. She turned and ran out of the cave and into the darkness. Inuyasha pursued the woman, but stopped when Naraku and Sesshoumaru came into view.
Kagome gasped in realization that she now stood in the middle of Sesshoumaru and Naraku's battle! Kagome dodged Naraku, but Sesshoumaru's attack that was aimed at Naraku had hit her! Kagome's world fluttered into a darkness.
Inuyasha removed Kagome from the scene and replaced her next to a near tree. He just had to joim the battle. He'd fight Sesshoumaru later and kill Naraku now!
'Wind Scar!' That was the last phrase Naraku would ever hear.
