Kagome sat at the bone eaters well thinking about what had transpired earlier on in the day. It was almost like a nightmare. Her and Inuyasha had been getting closer over time. She even thought that at times he was flirting with her. It was all a young girls heart could hope for. Of corse this is before the cold reality of things had come to light.

Only moments ago Inuyasha and Kikyo were in a lovers embrace. By the same tree that she had sealed him in. And Inuyasha had Promised his soul to her, the sweet words exchanged from The couple were enough to break her heart a thousand times over. And of corse the scene played itself over and over again in her mind. Her heart was heavy with grief. Was this some spell that he was under or maybie he never truly cared for anyone but his dead girl. If he wanted dust and bones and poisioned lips than Kagome knew she could never give him what he wanted.

She wanted to go back she wanted to give the Jewel to Inuyasha and go home. She didnt want to feel this pain any more. She thought "if only I could end it all and just forget Like a bad dream". She had made up her mind she was going to say goodbye to Sango and Shippo and go home for ever.

When she arived at the hut the smell of death hung low. She rushed into the hut to a horifying display. Sango, Shippo, Keade, and Miroku all laid in impossible postions, some of there limbs attached others were not. It was a masacre unlike anything Kagomes inocent eyes had ever seen. All of there eyes were open, and though they were stairing into the void of death They all looked to Kagome as if they were stairing at her.

Kagome ran out into the night the emotions that were driving her were dark and tainted. Kagome had lost pieces of her heart and her soul. She had lost her love and her friends all in a couple of hours time.

Her heart had lead her to the base of her pain where it all started. And still in Kikyos embrace, Inuyashas eyes were no longer his own. This time when Kagome aproached Kikyo droped Inuyashas body on the ground. He looked pale and his eyes a little sunken. Before anything could be said Inuyasha started going into convulsitons. As soon as Kagome tried to move any closer Kikyo had her by her throat dangling.

"You let your jealosy blind you. How do you like having everything you loved taken away?"

Kikyos eyes filled with dark rage. She threw Kagome against the god tree and watched her body crumple. "now I have taken your love away as well, only some one as stupid as you would not have seen the blood coming from my mouth and the blood that stained my hands from your beloved friends. "

Kagomes heart raced how could she be so blind she lifted her head up though her body was broken and she looked at kikyo her eyes were red and her hands were indeed stained. She could not move if she could she would have killed kikyo or indeed been killed by her. Her rage was a bright aura around her. The pain was imbearable.

"now another twist in my dark story. I am going to leave you there paralized, when Inuyasha awakes he will have a blood lust so strong that he will not be able to resist your young innocent blood. He now is the same as me though I feed off souls he feeds off blood Mine is a curse that not even time destroys. Then the pain he feels after killing the second woman he ever loved will send his exsistence into the hell that I have so long wanted for him...heh...I love how fate can be as cruel as I have made it."

Kagome tried to speak but the pain was too great. She watched as Kikyo walked away her shadow slowly disapeared. Kagome was goin in and out of a concious state. He dreams tormented by the death of her friends, her fears still living themselfs out in her nightmares. She was awakened by a rustling noise near by. Inuyasha was waking.
