InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Darkness Falls ❯ Once Again ( Chapter 1 )

A/N: This is my 1st attempt at an r/nc-17 rated fic so please bear with me. Anyhoo I just hope that this turns out ok. Well on with the story.

Once again I hear Inuyasha run into the woods at this time of night. I look at my clock and it's after midnight. I've known for quite a while that he's been seeing Kikyo. I've even caught them a few times but each time Inuyasha begged for my forgiveness I gave it to him. Or at least that's what e thinks. It's been months since I've stopped really forgiving him. If it wasn't for the jewel and Shippo I would've left 2 years ago when I saw Inuyasha and Kikyo holding each other. However I couldn't bring myself to do it. Why? That's the problem, I don't know why. I used to think that it was because I loved Inuyasha. But I don't love him anymore so what's the point in staying? As soon as I figure that out I'll have a lot less to worry about, but for now I'll settle for sleep.

I woke up to the sound of Shippo's fearful yelling and Inuyahsa's threats. `What a wonderful way to wake up.' I thought.

"Inuyasha, sit." I said simply.

I was really ticked today for some reason. I'd been this way for a few days but didn't really mind.

"What the hell was that for bitch!"

Inuyasha yelled. My eyebrow twitched, I've told Inuyasha so many times not to call me a bitch if I wasn't his mate. And from the way he's been treating me lately I'd definitely say that mating Inuyasha was not on my to-do list.

"How many times have I told you not to chase Shippo and furthermore the next time you call me a bitch I will `sit' you so hard that you'll have your own grave, because you'd need it by the time I got finished with you." I said.

My voice was quiet but in that way that everyone else in the group found slightly scary. I knew that he took my threat seriously because it wasn't the first time that I've made one like that. The first time I did he didn't believe me and tried my patience. It took him 2 months to grow all of his hair back.

"Lady Kagome, perhaps it would be best if you went back to your time for a few days. You look like you could use the rest." Miroku stated.

I knew he was right, but before I could reply he continued.

"What with all of this running around constantly searching for the jewel shards-"

"HENTAI!!" I yelled.

I was annoyed and Japan now had one less monk, temporarily. Despite Miroku's perverted ways he really was a nice guy. He could even get together with Sango if he stopped grabbing her ass all the time.

"Oh no you don't." Inuyasha said.

I almost forgot that he was here until now.

"You just got back and we haven't found more than ten shards, so there's no way in hell that you're going back."

Again my eyebrow twitched and this time everyone saw it. Sango started to drag the unconscious monk back a few feet and Shippo went to Sango for protection. Then it happened. My miko energy started swirling around me. I'd developed my powers quite a bit in the past few years and learned to control them, except for when I got really pissed. Only then does my control slip a little. My energy was it's usual pink but it was laced with black this time.

"Inuyasha let me tell you something." I started. "In case you haven't noticed, it's been 2 weeks since I've been home and we've found about 13 shards. And by the way, if I want to go home I will at anytime I want to and you can't stop me and if you try to, you should think about what I said earlier when you were chasing Shippo."

Then I asked Sango if I could borrow Kirara to get to the well.

"I'll be back in 3 days and I'll be sure to remember to bring back something for everyone. Even you Inuyasha. Ja ne!"

When I got home the first thing I did was take a long hot shower. The hot springs in the feudal era were very enjoyable but sometimes I really missed taking a nice shower. My mom wasn't home. She wouldn't be home ever again. She died in a car accident due to a drunk driver crossing the intersection at a red light. Jii-chan was placed in a retirement home and Sota was living at an aunt's house. I could've taken care of him but due to my long absences the agency thought it would be best for him to live with an actual adult. Now it's just me, and a big empty house, oh well. I haven't told anyone except Sango and Shippo. If I told Miroku he'd use my vulnerability as an easy way to grope me, and telling Inuyasha would be like telling a drill sergeant that you broke a nail. It's pointless. It's late I better get to sleep; I have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow.

His hand slid further up my thigh as he continued to kiss me in an exotically domineering way. I moaned into his mouth as one of his digits entered me. He started pumping in and out slowly, and then he added a second finger. I broke the kiss for air. The sensations that he was filling me with, along with his kisses were enough to drive me over the edge.

"Onegai…" I whispered.

"Onegai, what, Kaogme?" he said. "Tell me want you want."

"I want…" `…you' I thought.

RRRRING

"Damn that alarm." I said. It was that dream again. I'd been dreaming about Him for a while. It wasn't even just Him. It was both of Them. They started a little after I caught Inuyasha and his dead bitch in the forest. I guess you could say that I'm attracted to Them but both of them were enemies and it wouldn't be wise for me to be fantasizing about the likes of Sesshoumaru and Naraku.
