chapter 10- a new mother
When Kagome got home, she was reliaved to find her father and aunt ere okay and unharmed. She was glad to see her father home, but when she saw the woman he had brought with him, she had wanted to scream.
How could he replace her mother with her? She was beautiful but she looked angry, cruel and upset. She was clearly a demon because of her ears and her blood red eyes, it sent shivers up her spine.
The moment she had seen her following her father like an obedient dog, she knew there was something wrong with her. She didn't seem at all happy. But what worse there was something wrong with her father and the rest of the castle, everyone seemed to love her except Kagome.
"Hello Kagome" She said in a forced voice "I'm Kagura. Its nice to finally meet you, your father always says nice things about you"
Kagome didn't want to pretend she liked her and ignored her polientness "You a demon aren't you?" she hissed "What do you want with us?"
Kagura smiled "Friendly aren't we" She laughed and then moved close enough to whisper in her ear "But it isn't me you should worry about"
She winked and returned to her new husbands side. They didn't even have a planned wedding, they had got married the moment they met and everyone was okay with that except Kagome.
There was a feast to be held that night. Kagome sulked all day.
She sat in her room tears in her eyes, she knew he was under a spell, that demon witch had put him under a spell. She didn't have to see it to know, her father would never marry, she was sure of it
She lay on her bed wondering what was going to happen to her? Was this a nice demon? Or would she kill Kagome and try to take the throne?
Kilala mewed in her sleep, Kagome thought of waking her and asking but there would be no point, the cat had already said she wasn't going to say anything about the matter and that Kagome should deal with it.

The feast was no better, Kagome had to sit next to her new mum and she hated every minute of it, the woman was just so fake! She acted like an obedient kind woman but she wasn't every now and then she would just look at Kagome. Either with anger or pain she wasn't sure.
If only Kagura had been her only problem, there was a man sitting across her who was known as Naraku, Kagura's father. He was a demon too with red eyes and he looked at her the entire time, he stared at her with a mixture of lust and evil and Kagome felt sick under his stare. She wanted to get away but knew her father would be angry with her if she left.
So she sat in her chair cringing at Kagura's fake conversation and the glare of Naraku, and playing with her food.
He watched her, completly delighted in the way she was afraid of him, he knew she wasn't fooled by his spell and he didn't care. Everything he did was to get her, and everything was working well.

"Darling" said Kagura as she played with her husbands bare chest. what she really wanted to do was strangle him on the stop but if she did... "Kagome? How old is she?"
Leon looked at his new wife in the bed and answered "About 15" he said not really sure, when was the last time he thought about his daughters age?
"She is of marrying age!" Exclaimed Kagura fakey (a/n: Not totally sure if this is marring age. But i'm sure it is in the medieval times)
"So?" He asked not really caring,
"Well i have just the person for her" She said a smile on her lips.
He listened and nodded his head, he could deny her nothing.

"There is no way in hell i'm marrying that bastard" Kagome roared when she was told the news. It had only been a week and her new mother had already found her a husband. She was trying to get rid of her.
She looked at her father but he was no help, he was to lost in the spell that bound him to his wife, he could deny her nothing. It was the same with everyone else.
Kagura just looked at her, this time there was no fake smile or even anger, there was only fear and pain, in her blood red eyes "You don't have a choice" she whispered "I'm sorry" she seemed to mean it.
Kilala looked away almost ashamed with herself, 'Sometimes bad things happen'
Kagome stared at Kilala "What do you mean? I can't marry him, i'll run away!"
Kagura reached forward and grabbed her hand "You cannot run away, not from him, you can never hide for he will follow you even after your body has decayed and you are nothing but a ghost!" Then realising what she had just said the mask came back on.
"You will marry Naraku" in a 'that is final' kind of voice.
Kagome cried.

She spent her night waiting for the wedding sobbing. Everything seemed to be going wrong for her, first was finding the bitch Kagura posing as a new mother, then finding Sango had left leaving nothing but her demon exterminator mask and then finding she would marry Naraku tomorrow morning.
She played with the demon exterminator mask but no longer thought of Sango, Kagome was sure she was fine, she probably went looking for her indetity. No she thought of her own predicament.
There was something very wrong with him, he frightened her beyond fear, to the point where she couldn't move or breath. Or protest and there was no way she was going to ever even like this guy!
They had met a couple of times, he had done all the talking, about how beautiful his castle was and how she would love it there, and she had been paralized.
What would happen on her wedding night? That she feared the most, how could she let that monster touch her in those places. It made her skin crawl and her tears start up again.
"I'm sorry you have to go through this" Midoriko was sitting beside her.
Kagome wiped her tears and looked at the ghost, she was sad, sadder than usual. She also looked afraid "I know what it feels like to marry someone you are afraid of"
She looked away as if the memories were to painful to bare. "But you have to be careful and brave, don't let him get to you in a moment of weakness" She stared at her transparent hands "Or you could lose something precious to you"
Kagome stared at her, was this why she was a ghost? Because she had been forced to marry someone? Kagome hoped that didn't happen to her.
"Kilala and i... We can't go with you" She whispered.
"What?" Kagome asked "Why not?"
"We just can't!" She growled and Kagome gapped, she had never heard Midoriko yell before "It is out of my domain... The forest, i can only go to the lands in the forest"
Kagome thought she wasn't telling the whole truth.
"Just go to sleep and don't think about the days to come" Midoriko sighed.
She put a cold dead hand on Kagome's forhead and Kagome felt herself become wary and tired, Midoriko used her powers to make Kagome have one last peaceful sleep.
Then she and Kilala were gone, as if they had never been... Leaving Kagome to fend for herself.

He was so estatic he wanted to scream. He had been waiting so long and tomorrow he would have her again. The little girl would be his forever. He laughed, his plan comming together nicely. He looked at the bed they would sleep on tomorrow night and smiled, contemplating all the things he could do with her.
In the shadows a pale girl watched Naraku her father, look at the bed with a disgusting lust in his eyes. She would have shuddered but she lacked all emotion.
The little girl looked with her pale eyes and held her mirror to her chest. 'He will hurt her...' She thought 'But it is a price to pay for us, sisters...' She disapeared from the room, awaiting the girl who would bring them together again. She would have smiled but she lacked all emotion. But one day she would laugh again and so she waited.
a/n: he is thinking something dirty. i'm sorry to tell you but things along that line to happen, i personally don't want to write what happens in the next chap, but i have to... if only to make the fear greater. this chap is really dark and sad. i feel so sorry for Kagome.
Naraku is the evil guy! all you people who guessed him were right!.
