Sesshoumaru laid Rin down on the bed gently and took her hat off. She's more attractive when she's quiet. He laid down beside her and let out a breath. For some reason his thoughts were centered around the girl next to him. He had plans to wake her softly and claim her body. Now he found himself rethinking the action. He didn't know why he wanted her so much. She's more of a problem than…And that was it, that was why he wanted her. She's difficult and strong willed, attributes he admired in himself. Also, she had a part to her personality that rivaled his own. Where he was cold she was warm with emotion.

T. frowned as he turned towards Sesshoumaru's house. He was ready to beat the living hell out of Sesshoumaru if he did anything to Rin. He jumped out of his car and approached the door knocking loudly. To his surprise a young man with silver hair answered instead of the stumpy butler.
“Who the hell are you?” Inuyasha asked snidely
“Someone who's about ta knock Sesshoumaru da fuck out.”
T. marched past Inuyasha looking around.
“He's upstairs.” Inuyasha smiled, “I'll show you the way.”

Sesshoumaru touched the tips of Rin's hair. He leaned in closely their lips barely an inch apart. Sesshoumaru took in a deep breath and pulled back. He had never been so…so weak. This is ridiculous! All over some stubborn girl! He sat back against his pillow and narrowed his eyes at the wall. Before he could have another thought T. burst through the door causing Sesshoumaru to jump from the bed.
“Yo what da fuck you think ya doin' nigga!” T. grabbed Sesshoumaru roughly by the collar only find himself double over onto the floor from a hard knee to the stomach.
“How dare you.” This was exactly what Sesshoumaru needed, something to relieve him of his aggression.
Rin shook her head hearing the commotion and looked up to see Sesshoumaru towering over T. She sat up sharply and tried to move but her body felt horribly sluggish.
“What's going on?!” She rubbed her throbbing head
Sesshoumaru turned towards Rin with fire in his eyes, “You need to keep a tight leash on your dog Rin.” Without even looking Sesshoumaru's foot shot backwards and kicked T. in the face, “Get out, both of you. I won't tolerate such disrespect.”
Right then T. stood and retaliated with a forearm to the base of Sesshoumaru's neck. Sesshoumaru fell to the bed and turned over just in time to roll out of a punch that was directed at his face.
“C'mon mothafucka!” T. yelled
Rin's attention went to Inuyasha who was snickering in the doorway.
“Stop them Inu!”
Inuyasha was surprised that Rin was there, and even more surprised that she was in Sesshoumaru's bed. At least she's fully clothed. Inuyasha turned just in time to catch Sesshoumaru grab T. and slam him to the ground with an over the hip toss. Inuyasha winced knowing exactly how that felt. His brother may seem like he's papered, but when things got rough he was the first person to put someone's lights out.

T. got up quickly and tackled Sesshoumaru to the ground, letting punches fly to the man under him. Sesshoumaru put his arms up blocking the punches directed at his face, but leaving his midsection open. He had had enough of this; he bucked up his hips and brought his knees up and into T.'s back. T. groaned and stalled just long enough for Sesshoumaru to grab him by the shirt and flip him over his head.

Rin frowned and as she got up from the bed and threw the remote control that landed squarely in the back of T.'s head. T turned with anger in his eyes and went right for Inuyasha. Inuyasha suddenly aware of his attentions threw up his hands and pointed to Rin. T. looked at Rin as she set her hands on her hips.
“Why…” T. started
Sesshoumaru put T. in a headlock and used his right foot to sweep T.'s foot from under him and send him crashing to the floor.
“Stop this right now.” A cold and deep voice said at the door.
Everyone's attention was turned to Mr. Taisho who was right behind Inuyasha.
“What's going on here?” He demanded
T. looked up from the ground at Mr. Taisho, “Your son Sesshoumaru here is tryin' ta date rape my girl.”
Mr. Taisho turned to his son in surprise, and all he could do was utter his name.
Sesshoumaru shook his head calmly, “This idiot busted into my room looking for a fight. I haven't done anything to Rin.”
Mr. Taisho turned to Rin, “What happened Rin?”
“Nothing, I needed somewhere to lay down because I wasn't feeling well. Sesshoumaru brought me here because it was closest. And as far as T. goes, he's just being the over protective big brother he thinks he is.” Rin finished and hung her head in shame.
Mr. Taisho folded his arms and shook his head, “All of you need to leave.” He then turned and left.

T. stood and started towards the door.
“C'mon Rin, let's go.” He then turned to Sesshoumaru with fire in his eyes, “And you try somethin' again if you want to! I'll skip da ass whoopin' and straight shoot yo ass!” T. left. Rin sighed and turned to Sesshoumaru.
“I'm really sorry about this. And please tell your father I'm sorry too.”
Sesshoumaru nodded his head and watched Rin leave.

“What da fuck is wrong wich you?” Rin yelled as T. drove
“Do you think dat mothafucka was takin' you ta get some mothafuckin' sleep?! Dat's bullshit Rin!”
“Sesshoumaru don't even like me like dat.”
“All dudes like pussy, and it don't matter if they like da girl.”
“Look, if he tryin' ta do dat, he woulda at least got my pants off by da time you got dere, ya slow drivin' mothafucka.” Rin laughed
“Dat ain't funny.” T. frowned
“Anyway, dat mothafucka wouldn't be as bold ta try dat shit wit me.”
T. thought about it for a moment then nodded his head, “Yeah, ya right bout dat.”
“Let's just go home.”

By the time they got to Rin's house they were both extremely sleepy and ready to go to bed. Rin looked over at T.
“So, what chu gon do when I go back ta school? My classes are every otha day”
“I don't know, I guess I'll chill wich ya Moms or somethin.”
Rin nodded her head and headed to the front room closet with T. behind her.
“Here are da extra blankets and pillows if you need em. Da spare bedroom is upstairs next to mine.”
T. nodded and grabbed a pillow from the closet. “You know I gots ta get comfortable.” He laughed and followed Rin upstairs.
“Night.” Rin hugged at T.
T. hugged Rin back and went to his room.

The next morning Rin woke up to the smell of blueberry pancakes. Her mother always knew how to get her up and ready for the day. She smiled lightly and headed downstairs, the day was promising and she wanted to take T. to apologize to Sesshoumaru and his father. No matter how much they didn't like each other, T. knew better than to disrespect Mr. Taisho's home like he did.

She soon joined her family and T. at the table. Sitting she shot T. a look that said she had plans. If T. hadn't known her so well, he would have thought that she was angry with him and gave her a confused look.
“So how do you like your visit so far?” Rin's father asked T.
“It's good, wish I could stay longer though.” T. nodded
“Same here.” Rin smiled. She had been an only child all her life, having T. around was like having a twin brother of some sorts. Back in Chicago they were inseparable. When one got in trouble the other was right behind them. They continued their conversations, the subject of T.'s stay then turned to his family, and finally current events.

“The governor is corrupt, and I don't care what anyone says.” Rin's father said with a serious tone.
T. nodded, “I know, I'm waitin' fo someone to knock him out of office.”
“You know what's funny,” Rin smiled looking from her father to T. “T. don't seem like da kind of person ta be interested in politics.” Rin half giggled.
T. shook his head, “Don't we have somewhere we need ta be goin?”
“Oh yeah,” Rin smiled, “We need to go the mall.”
“Why da mall?” T. frowned
“We have ta find you somethin for da dance.”
“Da dance?”
“Yeah, dis Friday.”
“I can't go to yo school dance.”
“Don't worry, Sesshoumaru's goin ta get ya in.”
T. frowned slightly and shook his head.
“C'mon T., it'll be fun.”
“Rin,” Her father brought her attention to him, “remember what I told.”
“I know, we'll be good.”

Rin and T. put the dishes in the kitchen and T. looked at her as he leaned against the counter with a shrug.
“Before we go I need ta call some friends.”
“Aight.”
Rin went up to her room and picked up the phone dialing Kagome's phone number. She seriously started thinking about investing in a cell phone. We coulda been on our way to da mall if I had a cell.
“Hello.”
“Hey Kagome.”
“Hey Rin, how are you?”
“I'm fine, are you busy?”
“Nope, what do you want to do?”
“I want to take my friend T. shopping for the dance.”
“He can't go to the dance.”
“Sesshoumaru's getting him in. But we need to find him a tux.”
“Alright, I'll call the guys and Sango, I'm sure we'll find him something.”
“Thanks Kagome.”
“Sure thing.”
Rin hung up and went back downstairs with a huge grin on her face, only to find T. with a sour look on his.
“What wrong?”
“How am I supposed ta pay for da clothes?”
“I still got some money left over from what Sesshoumaru gave me. We'll rent you somethin nice, aight?”
T. nodded still looking a bit sour. Rin frowned, “Mothafucka cheer up.”

After a nice talk on the way to the mall Rin had T. smiling again.
“So where are we supposed to meet yo friends?”
“In da food court, we always meet dere.”
T. nodded and gave Rin a worried look, “Please tell me they're not like Sesshoumaru.”
“Their not.”

They got out the car and started toward the mall. It wasn't long before they found Rin's friends. As usual Inuyasha was shoving food in his face. Kagome and Sango were talking with worried looks on their face. And strangely enough, Miroku seemed to be paying special attention to their conversation. Rin and T. approached them as Rin let out a cheery “Hi”. Inuyasha looked up from his food and smiled at T.
“So you're the one who tried to beat up Sesshoumaru?” Kagome asked in surprise
“What?” T. frowned
“Inuyasha told us all about what happened.” Sango informed
“What happened, we want your side of the story.” Miroku put his hand on his chin
“I can't really tell you…” Rin started it out
“She was tipsy.” T. finished
Rin shot a look at T. and he shrugged
“You were drinking Rin, and with Sesshoumaru?!” Kagome all but gasped, “That's so unlike you.”
T. laughed, “Den you don't know my girl. She'd be a pro is she could hold her liquor.”
Rin shook her head in embarrassment, “Anyway! This is Miroku, Sango, and Kagome. You've already met Inuyasha, you guys, this is T.”
T. nodded towards them and smiled.
“So you're from Chicago too then T.?” Kagome nodded
“Yep.”
“How about we start the search, I've got some other stuff lined up for us.” Rin folded her arms.
“What else are we doing today?” Sango asked
“Actually it's just me and T.”
Her friends seems a little down fallen from the news. She knew how they loved newcomers and welcomed them with open arms. And just with the way T. was dressed and the looks on their face, they seemed eager to get to know him.

They had been to five different shops until they found the best one. They rented T. a formal tux and Rin was ready to leave. While on their search they asked T. all kinds of ridiculous questions. Like what certain words slang words meant, why he wore the kind of clothes he was wearing. Inuyasha even dared to ask him if he had ever sold drugs. All of it was making Rin quite nervous. She wanted them to meet T., but not to join in on the world they shared.

“You guys can't leave already.” Kagome sighed
“Yeah, we're just starting to get to know you T.” Miroku smiled
“C'mon Rin,” T. nudged Rin, “let's find da music store, dere's some cd's I wanted ta cop.”
Kagome gasped, “Don't tell me you're going to steal them?!”
Rin felt as if she could smack Kagome. “He's not going to steal them. When he said `cop' he meant buy, get, purchase.” Rin shook her head
“Someone's in an irritable mood.” Sango frowned
“She'll be aight.” T. nodded
Sango laughed, “I like that word, aight.” She laughed once more

The grouped moved onto the music store and looked around. T. quickly found the R&B section and ushered Rin over to take a peek at what they had.
“I'm surprised dey even have da new shit.” T. laughed
“C'mon T., wherever dere are rich white boys, dere are wiggas.” Rin laughed
Soon the rest of the group joined them and watched T. shuffle through a cd. Suddenly T. looked up at Rin and smiled.
“What?”
“Dis is da new song by Ray J, it's off da chain, check it out.” T. turned it up so they could hear it and began to sing along with the song `If I Had One Wish'.
They watched as he took Rin's hand started singing hitting every note perfectly. T. started to two step and coax Rin into singing the chorus with him. All they could do was watch in awe as the two put on a performance for the whole store. Rin and T. found themselves in the middle of an aisle singing and dancing. T. twisted and turned Rin just to bring her back to dance in a traditional style of ballroom dancing.

Although there were people clapping and whispering at their every move, T. and Rin seemed to be removed from the environment. It's just like back in Chicago. Rin sighed at the thought, but the song seemed to end all too quickly. As they parted they noticed the crowd of people they had attracted had tripled. Rin blushed and looked to T.
“I'ma go ahead and buy dat cd so we can leave.” T. nodded with a blush of his own.

Rin walked back up to the rest of the group as they looked at as if she were some kind of space alien.
“That's was amazing Rin!” Kagome giggled, “I didn't know you could sing and dance like that.”
Rin stuck her hands in her pocket, “Most people don't so don't feel left out.”
T. soon returned with his cd and they proceeded to leave the mall.
“Hey T.” Sango smiled, “you should come by my house sometime and we can karaoke. I'll make sure to pick up some cds for you guys to sing along to aight.”
T. nodded and laughed, “Aight.”
“How long is your stay going to be?” Miroku asked
“Only a couple more days.” T. replied
“You should move out here, it would be nice.” Kagome smiled
T. shook his head, “Nah man, home is where da heart is you know what I'm sayin?”
Kagome nodded then let out sigh, “Then visit…a lot.”
T. smiled, “Of course.”
Everyone gave T. and Rin a see ya later and the two friends were off.

“So where to now?” T. asked
“We're goin ta apologize ta Mr. Taisho for our behavior last night.” Rin said sternly as she walked towards her car.
T. let out a deep breath and nodded his head, “Aight. But what bout Sesshoumaru.”
“We're apologizing to him too.”
“Why? Dat nigga started it!”
“No T., you started it.”
T. nodded and went to the other side of the car, “You know I can't stand his ass right?”
Rin let smiled drift his way, “Yeah, I know.”

On the way there they listened to Grillz by Nelly. They raped the song bobbing their heads.
“I'ma get a grill ya know.” T. smiled
“Yeah you do dat, and I'ma laugh at ya.”
“What?”
“Dat shit looks ugly!”
“Yo whateva, had da whole top diamond and da bottom rows gold!”
“Hey?”
“What?”
“Smile for daddy.” Rin began to sing with the song
“Whatcha lookin at?”
“I wanna see ya grill.”
“You wanna see my what?”
“Ya ya grill, ya ya ya grill.” Rin laughed as T. bared his teeth
“Had da whole top diamond and da bottom rows gold!” They both sang and laughed

Minutes later they found themselves in front of Sesshoumaru's house. Rin buzzed the com and heard the voice of the annoying little butler.
“I'm here to see Sesshoumaru.”
“Master Sesshoumaru isn't having any visitors today.”
“I'm here to apologize for last night. Not just to Sesshoumaru, but to Mr. Taisho as well.”
The com was silent for the a few moments till the gate opened. Rin pulled up to the house and went to the door. Before she could knock it flung open and Jaken welcomed them in.
“Master Inu is in the sitting room, come.”

They followed Jaken to the sitting where Inu Taisho sat in a comfy looking chair and a cup some kind of brown liquor in it. His face said all business.
“Take a seat please.” He nodded to them
T. and Rin did as they were told and sat across from him on a matching sofa. Sesshoumaru arrived seconds later and sat in the chair next to his father. Rin looked to both of them.
“I'm really sorry about the fight in your home last night. We had no right to conduct ourselves as such in your home” Rin bowed slightly
T. nodded, “Yeah, Rin is like a sista ta me, I was worried about her. But dat's no excuse for what I did, I'm sorry for disrespecting your home and startin a fight wit cha son.” T. slightly bowed as well.
Inu nodded, “I understand, and appreciate how you have come and apologized to me. You show a lot of character and therefore you have my respect for that.” He then looked to his son
Sesshoumaru nodded in agreement, “I apologize as well. I should have taken Rin directly home.”
Inu nodded once more, “Good, now let's not have this happen again.”
All three of them nodded and Inu gave a look that said that they were dismissed.

Sesshoumaru walked Rin and T. to the front door. “I've notified the principal that T. will be joining us tomorrow night.”
“Thanks Sesshoumaru, I really appreciated it.” Rin smiled lightly
“I'll be at your home tomorrow at seven, be ready to leave then.”
Rin nodded, “Alright see you then.”
Everything seemed all too formal, but Rin was alright with it. The last thing she wanted at this point was to have a long drawn out conversation with Sesshoumaru. Not that he was much of a conversationalist in the first.

With that said they left and started towards Rin's house.
“Dat was easier than I thought it'd be.” T. smiled
“I thought it'd be. Mr. Taisho seem like da understandin' type, you know? And I'm pretty sure Mr. Taisho had a talk wit Sesshoumaru.”
“You could tell by da look on his face when he came in.” T. nodded
“So what do you wanna do now?”
“I'm in the mood for dancin'. What about you?”
“Sounds good to me.”
Rin turned on the radio and So Sick by Ne-Yo was playing
“Das my song dere.” Rin smiled
“Fo sho, hit dem vocal wit me.”

They made it back to Rin's house safe and sound. Rin had pulled T. into their den and showed him the surround sound she had hooked up. Huge speakers adorned the walls accompanied by a sub woofer and stereo.”
“Damn dis is off da chain.”
“I know, I did it. It's connected ta my computer too. So any music I download I can play through it.”
“What chu got?”
“A lot, how you feel about Busta?” Rin smiled
“Put it on.”
Rin went to the computer and loaded her play list and started Touch It by Busta Rhymes. T. started dancing and looked at Rin and motioned her to come to him. She danced toward T. following the beat of the music. T. took Rin's hands and they ducked down and as the music picked up the tempo the stood and started to dance. T. pop locked as Rin's hips rocked to the music. Rin's mother and father came into the door to catch the two dancing. T. turned to the presence and went to Rin's mother and took her by the hands.
“I can't dance.” Rin's mother laughed in embarrassment
“C'mon, just vibe wit it.”
Rin got her father to two-step with her as T. was trying to teach her mother some new moves. By the time the song ended they were all in a fit of laughter.
“I remember when you come over to our house. You always try to teach us the new dances.” Rin's mother laughed, “And I still can't do them.”
“It's alright, you got rhythm though.” T. laughed
“Dad catches on though.” Rin smiled, “Maybe we need to recruit you huh?” Rin hugged her father.
Rin's father shook his head, “I too old to be dancing like a teenager.” Rin's father kissed her mother's cheek and led them out of the den, “Let's go before we hurt ourselves.” He laughed

Rin stopped the next song and looked at T.
“What are you starin at?” T. frowned with a smile
“I don't want you to leave T.”
“I know, if I had my way I'd stay, or at least take ya back wit me.”
Rin hugged T. tightly and started to cry.
“Oh c'mon now, don't start all dat cryin and shit.”
“You're home fo me T. I don't wanna loose dat.”
“You won't.” T. held Rin away from him, “No matter what you'll always be da same right?”
“Yeah.” Rin wiped the tears from her eyes
“Den you'll be okay, home is wit cha already.” He held her close, “Hey, maybe I'll go ta school out here, UCLA ain't dat bad ya know.”
Rin giggled, “It would be nice.”
“Yeah, I can get down wit cha crew.”
Rin nodded, “Yeah.”
“You hungry?”
“Yeah let's get somethin ta eat.”
T. headed to the kitchen with Rin, “You know what I'd like ta have?”
“What?”
“Some of Mrs. Johnson's fried chicken, dat chicken be off da chain too boy. Makin a nigga hungry jus thinking about it.”
“Man dat does sound good, and some of her potato salad.”
“I know right, don't get me started up in here. I'll put cha mama ta work in dat kitchen.”
“She don't cook fried chicken.”
“Shit, I got the recipe, she'll be cookin some fried chicken dammit.”
Rin laughed, it was good to have that little piece of home, even if it was only just for a little while.
