InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Day Class, Night Class ❯ Taking The Risk ( Chapter 1 )
[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
A/N: Hey there, it's me again. Don't worry, chapter 9 of “The Bet” is almost done but I just had to type this up. I love vampires and vampire stories. So … I tried my chances at typing one up, but with Inuyasha characters in it. I hope you guys enjoy it. Oh, and one more thing. If I do include intimate situations into this story, they will be the first I've ever written so please tell me how I did. Plus, the idea of having a class of vampires and a class of humans was taken from the story “Vampire Knight”. It's not my idea; I just borrowed it and mingled it the way I wanted.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA. RUMIKO DOES AND I WISH I WAS HER, THAT WAY I WOULD OWN INUYASHA & CO. =D
~*~Chapter One~*~
The moon shined brightly outside the school windows. The grass slowly blew in the night breeze as a crash was heard from inside the building. Down the dark corridors leading down to a room that was open and lit, another crash was heard followed by a fearful scream. Text books, lamps, and pencils were being thrown out of the room before a young girl went rushing out. She was a fair skinned girl with long ebony colored hair that stopped at the middle of her back. Her eyes were a chocolate brown color and she was wearing a school uniform. The uniform consisted of a long-sleeved black blouse with a red bow hanging from the neck of it, a red school girl's skirt that had lines of black and white trimming the bottom of it, black knee-highs, and black shoes. She ran down the corridor only to be passed easily by a dark flash that took form in front of her. Stumbling backwards, she turned on heel to run in the opposite direction only to have her arm jerked from behind her.
“Nuh uh… You're not getting away from me that easily darling…” The voice whispered to her as she was pulled closer toward the figure.
“No! Let me go! I only came to get my book. I left my book here!” she screamed, hoping she would be released.
Long brown hair cascaded over the girl's shoulder as the figure's face came into view. His features looked eerily calm. His eyes were a light green color and he too had fair skin. He sniffed her neck and licked it with his tongue. His tongue ran up her neck, along her jaw line, then to her earlobe which he lightly nibbled.
“Aw, you pay a visit to the school during our time, to get a book and have the nerve to not repay us for letting you? Now my dear… that's just plain rude.”
She shivered when she felt his tongue touch her face. “Let me go! If you don't, I'll tell the principal! I swear!”
He ignored her threat as clawed hand came up to her chin and pulled it to the side, exposing her bare neck.
“Now then, let me taste that sweet liquid that courses through your veins.” He whispered to her, as his head lowered toward her neck. She could feel his breath on her neck while something sharp grazed her skin. The girl began to squirm again, trying to prevent what was about to happen to her. The man's features had changed. His eyes were no longer their original color, they had bled red. And his teeth… they had elongated and were upon her neck now, about to pierce her jugular vein.
“No!!!!!!!!”
Before he could bite her, a door close by flew open. The one who opened it walked out into the hallway and stared at the scene unfolding before him.
“Kei, let her go. You're supposed to be in class. Give her what she came for and send her off.” He spoke calmly.
“Ah… Sesshomaru, you always spoil my fun! Every time I come across a cute little blood bag, you stop me. No fair…” he pouted, pushing the girl forward, causing her to fall to the floor.
Sesshomaru, he was a calm and quiet one. He was pretty tall with long silver hair that could match his height. His eyes were an amber color and he was currently wearing a boy's version of the school uniform. It consisted of a long sleeved black over shirt, a red buttoned shirt underneath, black pants, and black shoes. The same as what Kei was wearing except his over shirt was only half way buttoned. Kei walked back to the room he and the girl came out of and came back out with a text book.
“Take your stupid book…” he said coldly, tossing it to the ground next to her. “I hope we bump into each other again some time soon, Kagome.” He proceeded down the hall and vanished into one of the rooms. Kagome looked at the book and picked it up before standing up herself.
“Thank you, Sessho… um... what was your name again?”
Sesshomaru walked over to the front door and opened it. “It's Sesshomaru. Don't be so careless next time Miss Kagome, there might not be anyone willing to help you. They might attack you too.” He stood there holding the door open until she walked through it.
“Thank you, again. Sesshomaru.” She said nervously. It was obvious that she was still shaken up by what had just happened. He simply nodded, then closed the door behind her when she left. His eyes began to bleed red just as Kei's did before. “Kei, that fool, is he really that dumb?”

After exiting the school, Kagome ran as fast as she could to her house. Tears were streaming down her cheeks and leaping off of her face as she ran. She almost got bit! How could she be so careless?! Her hands gripped her book tightly against her chest while running through the grassy pathway. Every few seconds she would look behind her in case one of them was pursuing her, but that wouldn't happen. It was forbidden for them to leave during their school hours. Before long, she found her exit from the pathway which came up to a street. She looked both ways before crossing the street to a house that had two floors. Her fingers scrambled into her pocket and pulled out a ring that had three keys on it. The door had opened though, before she inserted the key into the lock. A brown eyed, brown haired girl peered through the slightly opened door way and gasped.
“Kagome! What happened? Are you ok?”
“Sango… one of them…” she tried to catch her breath from all the running she had just done. “One of the vampires, almost bit me tonight. I thought I was a goner…”
Sango helped her friend inside the house and hugged her, trying to comfort her.
“Don't worry Kagome, you came back safe. They didn't get you.”
“It was Kei, if the other guy hadn't have come out, Kei would have bitten me. I'm sorry Sango, I'm just a bit shaken up at the moment.” Kagome spoke quietly, walking towards a coach. She sat down and dropped her book next to her, her gaze trailing up to the ceiling above her.
“Maybe you would like something to drink, Kagome?” Sango asked her friend before entering the kitchen.
“Thank you Sango, that would be nice.” Her right hand came up to rest on her forehead. Sango came out to the living room moments later with a glass of tea in her hands.
“Here you go Kagome, I hope this'll help you calm down.” Sango blew at the tea, before handing it to Kagome.
“Thanks Sango.”
“Kagome, what were you doing in the school after dark anyway? You know that after dark it's the vampire's time to use the school.”
Kagome picked up her text book and sighed. “I left my text book in science class. I had to get it so I could study for the test tomorrow.”
“Ugh, Kagome. Your life is more important then getting a text book to study with. I brought mine home, you could've have borrowed it.”
Kagome sweatdropped, her mouth hanging open. “I could've wha…?”
Sango pat her friend on her head. “Hee… just drink up and go to bed. Sleep would do you good after what just happened. You and I can study in the morning.”
Kagome's head sunk. If she had known that Sango brought her book home, she wouldn't have had to risk going into the school that was currently being used by the vampire class. She sighed to herself. “I need to think before I act from now on…”
She finished her tea and left the cup on the table before going upstairs to bed.
“Maybe I do need some sleep?”
A/N: Yes, this was a short chapter and I apologize. I hope you guys will like it though because I had been thinking about typing up a fic like this for a while. Well, please Read and Review!
