Chapter One-It's My Diary Stay Away!

"Why can't this day just go away and never come back?!" Kagome said to herself searching through her purse the twentieth time that day.

Kagome was the average girl that moved to a new house about a month ago. Ever sense the time she first stepped into her new house she had a diary that held every note and scribble from the loss of her old house. The notes that only she could understand were in that journal of hers. Every detail, every second of her new life was embedded in that so called book. She must have misplaced it…how horrible. She would probably cry if she really lost it. That was the only slice of her life that would be gone from memory. Well hopefully it won't be! Well it is only one slice at least, but if you think about it just one slice is `bout two years that seems to just slip down the drain. There is no way that she lost her most prized possession. There is no way...or is there…

"This can't be happening to me!" she yelled sitting on her bed letting her mind search through the whole day to see if she left it anywhere. Then her mind stopped to see a small library on the corner of her street.

~FLASHBACK~

"This seems like a good book." Kagome said lifting it off the shelf, and walked to a big table that three other people were reading at. She sat down and started to read the book "Holes". She read the first paragraph quickly so she had time to right down in her diary that she loved this book. After doing that she placed the diary on the table and started to read again. She read to chapter nine in record time and decided to read it home. She dug through her purse for her library card. When she found it she got up with the book Holes in her hand and went to the checkout line. Then she left. But the diary laid there on the table until someone picked it up and examined it before walking away. It turned out to be a boy with long silver hair and a black hat. On the hat the word "Dog" was sewed in red.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

Of course she didn't see the whole part about the boy taking it but she thought that her diary would still be there. She ran out of her room, and hopped down the stairs to the front door. And with that she disappeared from view.

It was a real rainy, foggy day so it was kind of hard to see where she was going. All of a sudden she bumped into someone, causing her to fall to the ground followed by the stranger. "Oh I'm so sorry." Kagome said getting up noticing that she was really wet from the rain that was falling. The stranger got up and ignored her. Kagome peered down to his side where he was carrying some sort of book. "May I ask what book that is?" she said walking closer to him. He didn't move a muscle. He just stood there. `I think it is a boy…' Kagome thought with out knowing that he started to walk away. "Hey wait." Kagome said running after him which was in same direction of the library. "Could you at least tell me your name?" Kagome shouted over the rain that was shattering the sound waves so he did not hear her. `Oh well forget him.' She thought keeping her steady pace toward the library.

When she got there she noticed that the boy was there too. His hair was wet so you could see the little drops of the crystal rain water glide down mostly every strand of hair. Every thing about him amazed her. His looks, his personality…okay maybe not the personality. But he sure was gorgeous! `Kagome snap out of it, you're here for the diary, remember?' she thought, walking over to the information/lost and found desk.

"Ummm excuse me but did you find a diary sitting on a table earlier today?" she asked. "Here look in this." The person behind the desk said pulling a cardboard box out and placed it next to Kagome. She didn't waste a second. She literally dove in to the box and searched, and searched, and searched, until she noticed a book on the bottom. `Maybe that's it!' she happily thought pulling it out. But it wasn't it was just a pale blue with the words "So you want to learn Japanese". Her diary was a more greenish color. `Oh well I guess I can live…somehow.' She thought returning the box to the person. "No luck?" The person said. "Yep, I wish I knew where it was." Kagome said. "Well I hope you find what ever you're looking for." She said putting the box away. "Thank you." She said walking away trying to figure out if she left it anywhere else.

`I know it might still be on the table where I left it.' Kagome thought running to the table. "Hey you, no running in the library!" said someone that worked at the library. "Oh sorry." Kagome said slowing down to a complete stop. Shock took over her face and soon after anger. `There is no way…' she thought. Her whole body froze even her hair which was standing on end. Her eyes didn't move from where they lay which was her diary in someone's hands. That someone's hands belonged to that boy that she happened to of met earlier. She stiffly walked up to the boy's side and looked over his shoulder.

"What…are…you…reading…?" Kagome asked with anger that never could be hidden. The boy jumped and ended up standing. He turned around slowly to see the girls face that just almost gave him a heart attack. "What do ya' want?" he asked rudely and loud enough that everyone in the library was looking at the two. Kagome noticed the cold stares that struck her from the people in the library, but she didn't care that was her diary that he was reading. "That happened to be my DIARY you're reading there!" she screamed. He didn't answer he just through the diary in her hands and said a faint sorry, then walked away. "Young lady, young man," began the librarian stopping both the boy and Kagome. "You are suspended from this library till further notice." She said escorting them to the door. "Now leave." She said pushing them out. "What, what did I do?" Kagome and the boy said in unison. "You know what you did, know get!" she said closing the door.

There is chapter one it is kind of short but you know I don't really like writing long chapters^^ I hope you liked it! I'll have chapter two up by sometime…except I don't really know when sometime is…oh well I'll just update soon. -.-
