We could only wish that we all owned Inuyasha and the others, but, sadly, they are all owned by their rightful owners

Chapter 4 - Can I Have Some Normal Now?

I was relaxing in a huge pool, surrounded by normal people. No one knew who I really was, and that was perfect by me. Someone was saying my name and I was looking around for them.
“Kagome. Kagome. Kagome Higurashi.” I bolted up right as I realised that it was Mama calling me.
“Sorry sweetie,” she says while doing the same to Souta, “but we are going to be landing soon.”
I smiled at Mama. A lot had happened in the last two weeks. Kaede convinced Mama that she would look after the shrine while they were in America and that they could all come back whenever they wished. I needed to come back at least once every month to record stuff so the media wouldn't think that something was wrong. We packed the things that we wanted and needed, though I told Mama that I would buy a lot of the stuff once we got there. I had taught the whole family English in two weeks, giving them some hope for when we got there. Our house was already bough and close to a school for Souta and myself. I would be in the 11th Grade while Souta would be starting the 8th.
The house that we were moving into was not really that different from the shrine. Sure it was a whole country away, but it had the same layout and structure. Mama and Gramps picked it out while Souta and I where out one day and showed us the day before we left. It was nice enough, and each room was nearly twice the size that the shrine rooms were. I smiled at the thought of it all.
Both Souta and I were being enrolled in the same school do we could keep an eye on each other if needed. I knew that we didn't get as long for the holidays here as we did back in Japan, but that really didn't bother either of us. I knew that I wanted to get there as quickly as I could and make some real friends, do some normal things without being followed everywhere. Souta just wanted to make friends and try out for the soccer team.
Eventually, we get off the plane and hail a taxi, asking us to take us to our new house. Most of the first week was mainly unpacking and setting up our own rooms as we wanted.
After that, we spent some time together before Souta and I needed to go and get the stuff that we needed for school. we had to buy textbooks written in English instead of Japanese, new books for our new classes, new school uniforms, even a new bag for me. I laughed as I looked over the list, wondering how the hell we didn't do this earlier.

I know… its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy short, but the last one was too long. I promise the next one will be fine.
