Sometimes, life’s greatest gift is the truth itself.

It can reveal itself so fast; you wouldn't even notice it was there.

And, it can disappear just as quickly.

Sometimes, the truth is hidden deep within ones self,

and you might just have to go deeper into their wounds to find it.

"Hmm... a little birdie told me, that a half demon has fallen, for a mortal girl. May I dare say she's a priestess?"
The land echoed with her delicate voice. "In my time, I have come across the most interesting spell. To crush the tainted heart of that hanyou, and of that human wench." The somber winds toyed gently with the strands of her silken white hair.

Amber orbs scanned the area for any movement. Alas, everyone was dead. With a flick of her wrist the dead, rotting corpses disappeared, replaced with a stone white castle, with a garden in the back. She didn't have any soldiers now, but in time, yes. She would have an army, the greatest in the land, and, she would rip the hanyou's soul apart, and watch his pitiful human companion perish in her grieving.

Matsukita ran her fingers through her hair, letting out a maliciously evil laugh echoing through her new castle, she would be the ruler of the Western, Eastern, Southern, and Northern lands. She just had to destroy the rulers of the lands: Sesshomaru the dog lord from the West, Kouga the demon wolf from the North, Mushin the Black Panther from the South, and Raidon the thunder bird from the East.

The first most vulnerable lord is the southern lord, the Black Panther. He had a kind image of the world and all he wanted was peace upon the lands. That was his greatest strength. He was a kind and caring lord, and wasn't vain. But, his main reason for living was also his weakness. He'd rather die than put anybody else in danger. A little black mailing and he could be easily defeated. He may not have been vain or mean, but he was young and naive.

The second easiest lord to kill would be the demon wolf. He was a very compassionate, loving lord. He lived in a pack, and he may be hard to take down. For wolves are very protective of there pack, and recently the demon wolf had taken a mate and she was having pups, that was his greatest weakness. Destroy the female wolf, and her pups, the demon wolf would be served to her on a golden plate.

The third easiest to take down would be the thunder bird; he had a very gruff exterior, and a very warful back ground. He had gone through many battles, famines, and had survived them all. He was the oldest and wisest of the lord. He had traveled many places, seen many things, met many people, and yet, even he had weaknesses. He was a vain bird and was always complimenting on his greatness and his stature against the other lords. If she could trick him into believing that the other lords wanted to destroy him and be greater than him, he could maybe join her. Then she'd kill him when the job was done.

The dog lord would be the hardest one to kill, though he had his own little flaws. His weakness is his desire to surpass his old man and achieve greater lengths; that is why he is so vulnerable, so naive he would do almost anything to pass his old man in power. But, his most, greatest weakness is his human companion. He was the Inu-taisho, not some insignificant half breed whelp. He had more going for him, he had power. She would suck the life out of his wench, and then devour his lost soul and seize his power for herself.

She would have to put her plan into action as soon as possible, and she had heard rumor of a very powerful half-breed who held possession of most of the Shikon no Tama. She would watch him for a while and study his moves and if he were worthy enough of her stature then she would join sides with him. Of course in the end she would have to kill him in order to obtain the jewel for herself

She would have to collect more information about the hanyou, Inuyasha and his past in order to obtain more power; her real power was in seeing people suffer and making them live their worst nightmares. She would seek information about the lords and their deepest secrets, and fears... then
she could destroy them one by one. Yes, every thing was falling into place just as she wanted it to.

"Kagome!" Inuyasha yelled for the tenth time that day, "Kagome!!!!!" make that 11, he hadn't meant to it just happened. Besides, she was the one who jumped him and started yelling at him for no reason. Kagome kept running towards the well, she couldn't bear to look back. "Kagomeee!!!!!!!" make that 12.

Kagome whipped around and faced him with an irritated stare, he looked kind of funny, standing there soaking wet, "What... do you want Inuyasha?" She said roughly and ended with a sweet tone. Inuyasha all of a sudden stopped running and just stared at her, "Well, what do you want? You keep yelling at me but I'm not hearing a reason." She replied suddenly. Inuyasha regained his composure and replied annoyed.

"You forgot to apologize for throwing me in the water, wench!" He said, though that's not what he wanted to say. "I'm still waiting..." he repeated, tapping his foot on the ground.

"Oh, Inuyasha, you can be such a jerk sometimes" Her menacing tone retuned. She whipped her hair around and started off to wards the well once again. She was almost there. She had just reached the Goshinboku, and the well was a good twenty or so paces away. She looked up to the leaves and the new buds. They hadn't been there when she got back to the Feudal Era, she had spent a good amount of time there and she decided to catch up in her studies. She was just looking over her Civics homework, when guess who came alone, the disturber of peace himself, yes, HIMself. The very one that was trudging along trying to keep up with her.

He came along yelling out so that the whole village could hear him, "Kagome, where are you, you better not be getting into trouble!" He yelled his voice echoing over the fields, birds taking flight from the start. All she was hoping was to get a few hours of studying in without so much as one rumour of a sacred jewel shard or one of Naraku's insects be spotted, especially not an interruption from you know who. But fate had other plans in mind. She was lying near a stream hoping the water would calm her down, then, Inuyasha came along and 'accidentally' as he put it, kicked her books in the river, and got them all wet. She gave him a death stare letting him know what he was in for. All he could do was let out a 'keh'

Bringing us to the present with a very wet and muddy Inuyasha. She hadn't meant to make him fall in the stream and almost drown. But the fact that she did and he was still alive was starting to tick her off. She just wished he would disappear from the face of this earth for a measly hour, that's all she asked for, but no... he has to be all stubborn and bother her, just because he's bored. She wasn't his play toy that he can just throw around and order around like her opinion didn't matter. Oh no, she would make sure he wouldn't forget what he did to her today.

She had just passed the Goshinboku and the well was closing in closer, and closer. She hopped in as the pink light engulfed her. Inuyasha just made it to see her disappear down the well. He sat down determined not to go after her, but he really wanted to. She wouldn't want to see him; he was a jerk to her. The only reason he went down there was because he was bored and had nothing to do so he was going to go for a swim in the stream, but guess who was there. He jumped back and started putting his clothes back on and started to entertain the idea of him and Kagome swimming together alone, and naked in the water. 'Oh god, she is such a turn on' he started to get hard. 'God what are you doing you filthy hanyou? As if Kagome would want to do that with you, you tainted half-breed.' his head argued. Maybe it was right she was too good for him, he'd never be good enough for her. So with this mind set, he’d been un-intentionally mean to her, and kicked her books in the water.

'Inuyasha you can be such a jerk sometimes, no, every time!' she thought to herself. Kagome had gotten on the other side of the well and while she was climbing out she fell and twisted her ankle. She had bugged Inuyasha before to put a ladder in there so she wouldn't harm herself since she was a 'weak' human. Now look what she had to show, a twisted ankle. 'God if Inuyasha was here he'd get the sitting of his life' She could promise that. 'I'm glad he's not here, now I can do my homework in peace and quite!' "oh, nooo..." she looked franticly around her room "I left my books back at the river, and my... oh my god.... Now what am I to do? What if Inuyasha finds them and in spite of me just throws them in the river?" She pictured Inuyasha with a smug grin on his face throwing the books in the river and commenting on a job well done. She would have to go back and get them. She slowly made her way towards the door and made sure not to fall down the stairs. She started to get a headache.
