Delicious Kiss

~ Episode One ~

*~*~*

Exotic music played in the background. Men hooted and cheered around a small circular stage with three golden poles in the middle with about 2,000 yen in their hands (roughly 200 in US). Neon lights of pink, green, and blue flashed dangerously around the small club.

There was a bar at the back center that had neon blue lights under the beer shelves. A man, in a white dress shirt and a black vest over it, stood behind the bar counter and hesitantly dried the cups he held in his hand with a white glowing cloth that was affected by the blue neon lights.

His short black hair to his shoulders was tied up in a small ponytail at the nape of his neck and had black finger-less gloves on. He seemed to search throughout the crowd of men for someone as if he or she was in danger.

`Damn it!' His mind screeched. `Where is she?!' Panic came inside him and his heart beat drummed against his chest.

Suddenly a new beat came on followed by a few of `La. La. La.'s. Three new girls came up on the stage. Each one went to a golden pole. Each one wore at least a bikini with short-shorts. His focused attention was on the girl in the middle that was standing out most.

She wore a tiny light blue bikini with very short shorts. She had short light blue hair that went to her shoulders. It was obviously a wig. Under that wig was long jet-black hair to her elbows. She had cerulean blue eyes that sparkled and squinted at the neon lights. She was extremely skinny, but she wasn't all bones.

The other two girls behind her, one blond and one brown started dancing against their poles. With a microphone in the blue girl's hand, she sang:

I just can't get you out of my head…

Boy your loving' is all I think about.

I just can't get you out of my head

Boy it's more than I dare to think about

She began to sing, swinging her hips at the same time. Men howled and slammed their hands against the stage, drooling at the sight of her.

`What a babe!'

`Fucking hottie!'

`I'll be in heaven with my d-thang inside of her!'

Kagome closed her eyes.

I just can't get you out of my head…

Boy your loving' is all I think about.

I just can't get you out of my head

Boy it's more than I dare to think about

She repeated the verse again, swinging over to the golden pole and wrapping her innocent white creamy legs over it.

Every night, every day

Just to be there in your arms

Won't you stay…?

Won't you then stay forever?

And ever and ever and ever

She swung herself around and landed perfectly on the ground.

There's a dark secret in me

Don't leave me locked in your heart

Set me free

Feel the need in me

Set me free

Stay forever And ever and ever and ever

She crawled towards the perverted old men. She watched them as they placed their money in her shorts.

La la la la la la la la

La la la la la la la la

She continued to sing. The bartender that was watching her, Miroku sighed in sadness.

`Kagome…' He thought with pity. With that last thought, he continued serving people their drinks.

"Okay girls! It's 3 AM!" The boss swung his right index finger like a tornado. "Let's wrap it up!"

Kagome sighed and looked at her in the mirror that had light bulbs surrounding the borders. She numbly took off the wig, letting her long black hair fall down freely down her shoulders, and took a napkin.

She smudged off her make-up carelessly. A rough hand landed on her shoulder. Kagome looked above her to see her boss. She nervously smiled.

`I want you'

"Hey, Mr. Onigumo…" Kagome slowly whispered. Mr. Onigumo gave her a stern mad look.

"Kagome, I want you to-"

`I want you Kagome…'

"I know…" Kagome interrupted and looked at her knees. "I'm trying, Mr. Onigumo…" Mr. Onigumo gave a rough squeeze on her shoulder and released. Kagome looked up towards his eyes.

`I want you so bad, Kagome'

"Well, you're not trying hard enough…" With that, Onigumo left.

Kagome sighed and looked at her body through the mirror. She sighed and packed her belongings and left. She walked towards east to the city bus stop where it took her to her shrine home. But before she could walk across the street, she looked back at the club she worked in.

`Delicious Kiss, a strip club.'

*~*~* Four Weeks Later *~*~*

"Well, I guess that's the last of it…" A tall woman, with short brown hair to her shoulders, sighed and placed down the card board box on the wooden table.

Kagome walked pass her to go the their new kitchen.

`It's all my fault'

"…It's okay mom…" Kagome mumbled and searched for orange juice in the fridge.

A young boy by the age of ten came up to Kagome and tugged her light blue tang top.

"Kagome! I think I found a dead squirrel in the bathroom!" Souta yelled with joy. Kagome gave him an annoyed look and shut the fridge.

"You think?"

`Well, I think it is!'

Kagome rolled her eyes and leaned against the fridge and crossed her arms. She quirked an eyebrow and smiled.

"Kagome? Who are you talking to?" Her mother said, removing the dishes from the box. Kagome gave a small smile.

"No one, mama. It's just my thoughts…" Kagome walked up the crooked wooden stairs with Souta following her.

They were in their new `house'. Kagome looked around. Everything looked… Ancient. The wallpaper on the walls was wearing out. The doors didn't have locks. The bathroom water was… disgusting. The water tasted like copper mixed with blood. Kagome smirked.

"At least the toilet and shower works fine…" Another tug came on her tang top. She looked behind her to see Souta.

"What, squirt?" Souta pointed to the bathroom's brown door.

"I'm telling you! There's a dead squirrel in there!" Kagome shrugged like she never cared.

"Evil spirit! Be gone!" A rough yelled came from the bathroom. It was their grandfather. "Raccoon demon! Be gone!"

"See, I told ya…" Souta mumbled and crossed his arms. Kagome scoffed.

"It was a raccoon, not a squirrel. Besides," Kagome reached the third door to their right and landed her hand on the knob, "Squirrels are my friends as-known-as my brothers. They're cute and cuddly. It's not respectful to mourn over their deaths." Kagome pointed out. Souta rolled his eyes.

"Road kill." Kagome waved him off.

"I gotta change." She looked at her clothes: a simple baby blue tang top and tight jeans. "I have to go to work in one hour. Go play with the raccoon or with Mayu or something…"

Souta shrugged and disappeared through the walls. Kagome smiled and turned her door knob and… It fell off. Kagome leaped in surprise and let the golden doorknob roll down the halls.

"Oh well… There goes our last doorknob…" Kagome kicked the door open to see more card board boxes.

She walked in with a kick to close the door. She ignored the red and blue figure that was sitting on her spring-less bed. Her room was small. A small twin bed in the left corner, the closet on her far right, a flickering light above her, an old wooden shelf next to her bed, and a single window in front of her.

The red and blue figure began to move. Kagome ignored it and opened the sealed boxes. She pulled out some of her clothes and neatly hung them in her closet. Kagome stole a short glance at him.

`Wench'

Kagome's eye brow twitched in annoyance. She opened another box and took out more clothes. She hung them as well. She took a light pink shirt that said, "Sometimes I wish I was a little kid again..." Then at the back, "…Skinned knees are easier to fix than broken hearts!"

She found a skirt made out of jean fabric. She unbuckled her belt and slid it out. The red and blue figure was still there, watching her.

`Stupid girl'

She unbuttoned her pants. Still, the red and blue figure did not move.

`What day is it today…?'

She unzipped her jeans. Still, the same thing.

`Is it…? No… It can't be Friday'

Her eyebrows twitched in annoyance, but continued.

Kagome did a body check at him. He had nice long black hair to his waist, violet-shocking eyes, and wore a oversized bold red T-shirt with baggy blue pants. She ignored his questioning look.

Kagome went to dig in another box. She pulled out a few small scrolls and small thin white sheets of paper with large black Japanese characters. She tucked them in her jeans and carried her skirt and T-shirt with her. She also took a pack of camel cigarettes.

She kicked open her door and walked downstairs to the dining room where lay a bowl of fruits and a small bowl of oden. Kagome's stomach growled, but she ignored it. Her mother stood.

"Kagome, do you want some-"

"Sorry mama…'' Kagome pulled out the orange juice and a clear cup. "I'm on a diet. All I can eat is orange juice and diet cokes." Kagome poured some in her cup and drank fast.

`But Kagome' Kagome set the cup in the metal sink.

`…You're too-`

"I gotta go to work! Bye! Love ya!" With that said, Kagome walked out.

"Kagome! Kagome!" Souta yelled. He entered her room and called for her name.

"Kago-!" Souta faced the new guy sitting on Kagome's bed. He was awed. And the first thing that came up to his mind was, "You have pretty long black hair, Miss."

And that's how their weird friendship came.

Back on the road again

Feeling kinda lonely

And looking for the right guy

To be mine

On stage, Kagome wore a see-through white nightgown with her black bra and panties. She had a fake blond wig that went to her shoulders. She sang again:

Friends say I'm crazy cause

Easily I fall in love

You gotta do it differentK

This time

Kagome crawled over to the crowd of men as they place their money on stage for her. Kagome tucked the money in her bra and winked.

`My babe!'

Maybe we'll meet at a bar

He'll drive a funky car

Maybe we'll meet at a club

And fall so deeply in love

He'll tell me I'm the one

And we'll have so much fun

I'll be the girl of his dreams

Maybe

`Maybe…' Kagome thought as she continued singing. `Maybe I'll get out of this…'

She looked at the male bartender.

`Miroku…' She smiled at him. He smiled back.

*~*

"Kagome…" Kagome fisted her hands as her knuckles turned white. She still wore her outfit. She looked up at her boss.

"Yes, Mr. Onigumo?"

`Kagome'

He smiled at her and rested his hands on her bony shoulders. He stared at her through the mirror.

"Great job. You're our biggest hit. I'm so proud of you." He ran his hands across her neck.

"I'm very proud of you…" His hands went lower to her bosom.

Kagome's hands shook. His face was whispering against her ear. Kagome closed her eyes shut and bit her bottom lip.

"I… Want…y-"

"Hey Kagome!"

Onigumo released her as if she was fire and looked behind them. It was Miroku. Kagome's face showed relief. Miroku nervously laughed and scratched the back of his head.

"I guess I came at a wrong time…?"

Onigumo glared and walked pass him. Kagome quickly slid out of the ugly white gown and into her pink shirt. She quickly wore her skirt, not caring if Miroku was watching or drooling. She quickly hugged him and smiled.

"No… You saved my life from the devil…" She said to him. Miroku smiled and swung his arms over her shoulders. Kagome pecked his cheek and smiled.

"Thank you…" She said to her older cousin. Miroku gave a perverted grin.

*Rub! Rub!*

Kagome's eyes widened and slapped Miroku. She narrowed her eyes at him.

"What a way to ruin the moment, Miroku…" Kagome crossed her arms. "I'm going to tell Sango…!"

Miroku cleared his throat and walked.

*~*~*

"Drop ya off here?" Miroku said as he looked at the small lake. Kagome nodded and smiled.

"Thanks for the ride…" Right when she was about to leave, a hand clamped over hers. Kagome looked at him. His eyes were full of worry.

`Kagome'

Kagome looked away.

"Kagome… You need to stop that diet of yours." He pointed to her. "You're skinny enough! You're like bones!"

Kagome took away her hand and smiled.

"Thanks again for the ride Miroku. You're such a great cousin…" She dropped the subject and walked out.

Miroku stared at her for a moment, then drove off. Kagome quietly walked to the sandy beaches of the lake.

She walked upon the dock and sat down when she reached the end of it. She dipped her toes in. She took out the camel cigarettes and sighed. She took a lighter and lit one. She smelt the bitter scent of tobacco as the wind softly played.
