Hello mina, sorry I took such a long time to update this. I hadn't been free lately, due to preparing of my final exams n stuff like that next month… after that I will be graduating… so happy!!!!! Anyways… don't what to delay anyone on the story but before starting I want to thank everyone who had reviewed.

Chapter 6: Shiko No Tama

Kaede would mostly likely let Sesshoumaru and the others go after hearing that they had saved Rin when she was in trouble. She watched Rin turned over to Sesshoumaru her beautiful brown eyes widened with surprised.

"Rin, it's time for your training sections." Kaede said when Rin made no move to leave Sesshoumaru.

Rin turned around to Kaede stunned but nodded. Slowly she left the cell and walked out of the room quietly.

Sesshoumaru watched her leave with a slight frowned. What kind of training does this girl have? She looked like a little girl that needed protection at all course, and to think that she goes through combat training really disturbed Sesshoumaru.

"Kaede-sama, so do you mind telling us about the Shiko No Tama?" Miroku asked after Rin left not long later.

"Shiko No Tama is a crystal of the four souls." Kaede said softly looking at the three prisoners. "It had been passed down for many generations by my ancestors."

"Your ancestors?" Miroku frowned at the information. "Why did your ancestors had that in the first place?"

"There was a legend told in my village long long time ago." Kaede sighed. "However, this legend was soon ban by all human colonies and was never spoken about again. Not long later it became a nothing more than a fading myth."

"Can't you get to the point, Baba?" Inuyasha snapped impatiently.

"I'm getting to that!" Kaede turned her stern eyes over to Inuyasha. "You should learn to be more patient young one!"

"Feh!" Inuyasha folded his arms and turned away rudely.

"The Shiko No Tama was produced after a death of a very powerful Miko and a Demon Lord." Kaede started the story. "If I am not mistaken, the Great Demon Lord was a Swan Lord Youkai."

"If my memory served me right, this Swan Lord Youkai you are talking about was Lord Xian, the son of the Great Swan Taiyoukai of the South?" Sesshoumaru spoke softly watching Kaede intently.

"Yes," Kaede nodded once.

"They are extinct aren't there?" Inuyasha frowned turning to his brother. "Their whole clan was wiped out decades ago weren't they?"

Sesshoumaru nodded once his eyes still fixed on Kaede waiting for her to go on with her story.

"This powerful miko used to win every single battle she fought with the youkai. Her purification powers were far stronger than ten taiyoukai strength back then. Every single human being worshiped her and depend their life on her. Her responsibility to protect human kind was huge and also a burden. But still she strived on everyday giving hope to everyone, fighting for everyone and never failed to give happiness to human kind. Until one day…"

Kaede paused for a second and took a deep breath.

"She fell in love with a demon…."

The last sentence Kaede had spoken out left everyone speechless, staring at her as if she had spoken the most impossible occurrence. Inuyasha mouth fell opened, Miroku looked at Kaede as if she had spoken the most unbelievable thing. Only Sesshoumaru remained calm and quiet waiting for her to continue.

"I don't really know the details after that." Kaede said after a short silent passed. "All I know was that she died and her body produced the Shiko No Tama which had been a source to protect us. We think it is her soul that remained to help us get on with our live. It had been guiding us for the passed centuries, so I was very surprised when you told me that a force had pulled all of you to our ship which would mean one thing. She must have sent you all here for a reason."

"Which is…?" Inuyasha asked impatiently.

"I have no idea."

Rin raised the `Xenos Needler' and aimed at the bull eye on the chart before her. She shot once, twice, trice and continuously until there wasn't anymore poison grenades in her weapon. Her shots where always accurate and was always on the bull eye though some shots were near around the red dot. Slowly she lowered her weapon and sighed.

She hated think that Sesshoumaru was still stuck in that cell and there was nothing she could do about it. She did promise him to help him escape but in the end she helped him get locked up behind laser bars instead.

"You did well, why so gloomy?"

Rin turned around towards the person who spoke and saw Jakotsu standing by the door with a smile on his face watching her.

"Jakotsu-san…" Rin smiled slightly. "Never thought I would see you here."

"Came here to tell you about the weapon you left at the lab not long ago." He held out the strange gun in his hand for Rin to view.

"You already found out what it is?"

"Well, sort of." Jakotsu shrugged. "Take a look."

He went up to the machine that had a blue and red buttons on it at the corner of the room. The blue button could change the bull eye board to a new one however he pressed the red one and a stone mannequin appeared. He aimed the weapon at the mannequin's head and pulled the trigger.

Rin's eyes widened as she saw a weird bluish liquid form which shaped like a huge old fashion tear drop piece of metal which was known as bullets emerged from the weapon and flew towards the mannequin in top speed. It hit the right eye creating a huge black whole through the mannequin's head. Not long later, the same sort of bluish coloured liquid started to ooze out from every hole there was on the mannequin.

"What the hell was that?" Rin stammered.

"Acid, sulphur and nitrogen in liquid form."

"Is that possible? Gasses changes into liquid?"

"Well, looks like it is possible. What you are looking at proves it. The poison goes straight into the blood streams just like the `Xenos Needler' but deadlier. It kills whatever living thing in an instant, no cure to it. However I heard rumours saying that the poison in the `Xenos Needler' couldn't really kill the demons instantly which gives them a chance to cure themselves."

"That is true, the poison contains only silver and acid which kills the demon slowly but what I don't understand is how did human beings in Zealot City come up with an idea for such a weapon?"

"Well, that will be up to you to find out dear Rin." Jakotsu smiled. "For now, I will need to do more experiments on this weapon. Came here to tell you what I found out. Thought that you will be very anxious to know what this weapon is all about."

"Arigatou, Jakotsu-san!"

"No problem!" He winked and left.

"What the hell do you mean you have no idea?" Inuyasha shouted. "That damn crystal is your crystal, you should know something about it."

"The Shiko No Tama had seemed dead for the pass few years." Kaede continued ignoring Inuyasha. "It used to have a forced by itself, protecting this ship and all other battle ships with its purification powers. But when I went to the Room of Four Souls, not long ago, I sensed the force of Shiko No Tama has returned."

"And you think it had to do with us?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"I want you all to stay here until I find the reason why Shiko No Tama brought you here." Kaede said. "But I do not intend to keep you all prisoners. If I let you and your partners free, would you promise me not to escape?"

"What do you what us to do?" Sesshoumaru frowned. "You do know that demons and humans can never live in peace. You are just wasting your time."

"I trust you not to harm any of us." Kaede smiled, remembering the way he looked at Rin. "You are free to do whatever you all want here and treat it as your home."

"Take this stinking ship as our home?" Inuyasha flared. "You must be o…."

"Interesting proposition." Sesshoumaru interrupted.

"What the…" Inuyasha turned to his brother in surprised.

Kaede smiled and placed her palm on a panel at the side of their cell.

"Then you are free to go."

Rin practice a few more shots and left the shooting room. She then made her way back to her quarters to get cleaned and get back to her stations. As she reached her room she sighed and lay down on her bed for a moment. Thinking of taking a wet shower instead of a dry shower she got up and started taking off her uniform. (Dry shower: person could be cleaned even with their clothes on. They stepped into a cubicle where a ray of red light would run over the person's body cleaning her.)

(Wet Shower: Using of water.)

Sesshoumaru left the cell and wondered around the ship by himself. He didn't bother where his brother and that human slave went but there was one person he wanted to meet that time. With his excellent sense of smell, he knew exactly where that person went.

He turned around the corner and came across a darker corridor where reminded him very much of his dungeons in his palace. There corridor had metal doors on both sides of the wall and names where placed in the middle of the door with dark silver metal. He walked down the corridor slowly and stood before a metal door where he was sure where the person he was looking for was.

Rin grabbed for her towel when she heard her room door squeaked opened.

Sesshoumaru stood rooted by the door when he saw Rin, naked and only clutching on to a white towel covering her breast and the rest of her front body, staring wide eyed back at him. Her long brown hair lay smoothly behind the curve of her back. Now that she wasn't wearing any clothes he could see that her waist was so slim that he could span it with his single hand. Her shapely legs were so slender and long he imagined how it would be like to have them wrapped around his back.

Slowly from her feet, he drank in every part of her body gradually and settled his gaze on her enchanting face. Soon, her horror-struck expression turned to fury.

"GET OUT!!!!!" Rin shouted grabbing for the nearest thing she could reach for and flung it at him.

Sesshoumaru dodged swiftly and gracefully away from a triangular thing which he had no idea what it was that went flying at him.

Damn I like that clock! Rin mentally said and grabbed for another thing when Sesshoumaru was still standing by the door.

Instead of leaving Sesshoumaru moved into the room swiftly and his hands caught one of Rin's hands that was raised ready to toss the second thing at him. Then another hand moved behind her bare back pulling her closer to him.

Rin other hand which was still clutching on her towel tightened and she stiffened when she felt Sesshoumaru's hand behind her naked back.

"You promise!!!!" Rin hissed angrily.

"I regretted making that promise!" Sesshoumaru whispered as he lowered his head next to her ears.

"How did you escaped?"

"I didn't your leader, let us free."

"What?"

"She let us free saying that, the Shiko No Tama led us here for a reason."

"Why don't you leave when you had the chance?"

"Because I gave her my word not to leave until we find out the reason why we are sent here."

"Still that doesn't give you a reason to…"

Rin's sentence was cut short when Sesshoumaru lowered his head and captured her lips in his. His hand which had settled behind her back stroke her bare and curved back gently giving making her shivered. Sesshoumaru smiled inwardly when he felt Rin's body relaxed against his. Her hand which was holding on to an object loosened its grip and the object fell to the floor. He mentally wished that it was her other hand holding onto her towel.

Rin couldn't help but feeling a very nice tinkling sensation up her legs and spine. She couldn't understand why her body was reacting to whatever this demon lord was doing to her. She felt his demanding lips on hers trying to make her open her mouth but she pressed her lips together tighter. Not long later, she felt his tongue sliding across her bottom lip and she gasped slightly giving him access to plunge his tongue inside her mouth.

Sesshoumaru almost lost himself when he tasted Rin's sweetness. He explored every corner of her mouth with his tongue tasting her slowly. He felt Rin's tongue which was now timidly touching his. He almost smiled at his success. Rin was finally giving in. With one hand still behind her back holding her tightly against him, his other hand touched the side of her waist gently and traveled up gradually settling it on the side of her bosom. As his hand was about to travel to cup her breast, they were interrupted.

"What the HELL is going on in here!!!!!"

Rin shrieked and moved out of Sesshoumaru's hand earning a scratched from his claw behind her bare back for pulling away so abruptly. She hissed in pain and staggered slightly. She was so happy to see Kagome standing at the frame of her door glaring at Sesshoumaru. If she didn't appear, Rin couldn't imagine what was going to happen next. She was beginning to loss the battle with the Demon Lord. Her body no longer listened to her command but to his.

"GET AWAY FROM RIN!!!!!" But to Rin's horror, Kagome pulled out her `Xenos Needler' and aimed it at Sesshoumaru.

"Kagome, stop…." Rin ran over to Sesshoumaru and stood before him blocking Kagome from shooting him. "Nothing happened here!"

Sesshoumaru smelled blood and frowned slightly, he looked down and saw the long cut his claw had inflicted on Rin's bare and smooth back. He raised his hand and looked at one of his claw showing him slight dripping of blood. Rin's blood.

Shit, he mentally cursed. He didn't mean to hurt her and now he did.

"He is hurting you!" Kagome shouted, who still had her weapon raised. "Get out of the way Rin!"

"Kagome, it was an accident!" Rin pleaded. "Put your weapon away!!!"

"Stop being so stubborn Rin!!!!"

"Kagome, don't do this please!"

Sesshoumaru finally looked away from his claw and stared at Kagome. He stepped out front away from Rin and walked towards Kagome. She flinched slightly and back away. He only stopped when he was only and inch away from Kagome's `Xenos Needler'.

"Sesshoumaru!!!!" Rin cried.

"Shoot if you think it will make you feel better." Sesshoumaru said emotionlessly, his cold golden eyes bored down at Kagome's pale blue once.

Kagome's hands began to shake slightly.

"No, Kagome," Rin pleaded again. "Please…"

Kagome frowned looking at Rin's pale face and sighed inwardly. She lowered her weapon and walked away from Sesshoumaru and entered Rin's room.

"You better get dress. Kaede-sama had something to tell us at the main control centre and Sesshoumaru and his partners should be there too." Kagome said her back still at Sesshoumaru. "And let me see your wound."

Rin nodded once and turned over to Sesshoumaru.

"Sesshoumaru, I need to change…" Rin spoke softly. "I'll meet you there later."

Kagome turned her furious eyes at Sesshoumaru again and walked over to the door slamming it shut at his face.

Sesshoumaru felt like strangling that girl name Kagome. Never in his life, had he ever been treated such a way by anyone and not to mention a human. Not wanting to upset Rin further, he left feeling slightly agitated for being interrupted at the most intimate time. Rin had almost given in to his seduce.

Best of all was she didn't pull her gun at him this time. That made the corners of his mouth curled slightly.
