**Starlight**

The stars became an enclosure for them like a velvety blanket doted with a few stars and many purple clouds, lighting the ground beneath them in a more than delightful way. The reflection off the waters they passed were mirrors of the sky, if one were to be over the pools and unable to see the land, they would feel the illusion that the sky had completely engulfed them. What a wondrously beautiful night it was.

Sesshoumaru stopped in the middle of the air and examined the young woman in his arms. She wasn't looking at him, rather regarding the sky and landmasses bellow them. He stopped the smile that threatened to curve his lips at the thought, she was truly innocent and pure. To bad she didn't want to be his mate.

The thought pushed the smile out of existence in his mind. Why didn't she want to be his mate? One word and only one word answered his question.

Inuyasha.

That damned half-brother of his had to ruin everything for him didn't he? He wanted this woman in his arms to become his mate. Why he was not sure, only a moment ago he had been set on killing her, yet now he wanted her as a mate, not merely as a one nights partner. No, once wouldn't be enough for him, how could he have ever allowed himself the delusional thought that he'd be finished after one go? No matter how many times they might mate that night, it wouldn't be enough.He had to have her for himself.

Kagome shifted in his arms, "Um, are we there?" she asked like an impatient child would its parents after being in a car to long. She was more than nervous, she knew what was about to happen and she didn't know if she was really ready, but she knew there was no turning back at this point.

"Yes." He growled out, still angry at his thoughts. Not to mention his desires. Kagome gulped, she didn't like the sound of that growl. Inuyasha growled like that when he was angry and Sesshoumaru's eyes seemed to be on fire! The fear she had previously felt sparked into a roaring flame, could she handle this? From him especially?

Sesshoumaru smelled her fear and again he growled he wasn't so sure if he could go easy on her. Virgin as she was it would be hard on her no matter how gentle he tried to be, but that wasn't going to happen, his body was screaming at him to shred her clothes and his, to take her with the force of a thousand youkai.

Gently Sesshoumaru lowered them to the ground he had chosen a very beautiful place really. They were next to one of the few gardens near his home that Rin hadn't picked clean of all life, there was a lake that shimmered with the moon's reflection whenever the wind picked up a few waves of water. There were several large trees around that didn't shade the spot he had chosen, which was right in the middle of it all.

Kagome felt panic run through her body when her back met the impenetrable ground, she felt like a caged animal now, no escape. Sesshoumaru's eyes still held some anger as they gazed unwavering into her own he was so scary and so strong. It made no sense to her what she was truly doing in this field with him.

Sesshoumaru tore away the rest of her shirt and quickly undid the ties on his armor. Why did his armor have to be so complicated to deal with? He quickly got through the obstacle and removed the remainder of his clothing as well as Kagome's, neither of them were mindful of the fact that Kagome no longer had any clothing that she could actually put on. Only of their burning desires and of Kagome's fear.

"Do not fear this." Sesshoumaru whispered into her ear. Again his voice was strong and scary, but not at all unpleasant.

"I. Can't help it. I told you this is going to be my first time." Kagome sighed and Sesshoumaru used the opportunity to explore her opened mouth with his tongue, she gasped a bit but didn't resist, instead she kissed him back.

The field they were in exploded with their energies suddenly both youkai and miko trying to dominate the other, almost attacking. Kagome's pink became nearly red and Sesshoumaru's dark blue almost black, the field was dancing with supernatural color as it sparkled and battled around the soon- to-be lovers.

Kagome gasped and moaned into Sesshoumaru's mouth when he cupped her right breast in his hand, squeezing it and massaging it. He separated their mouths and moved his head to her left breast that seemed to be crying and begging for attention. Which, he gladly gave by sucking and occasionally teasing with his fangs.

Kagome moaned and put one hand in his hair, the other examining his body were her eyes could no longer see him. She wanted to start then, she was worried that she wouldn't be able to let him take her willingly if she had to wait much more, her fear was swelling almost painfully in her stomach.

Sesshoumaru felt her tiny human hand start to roam over his body, sending the fire that had previously roared throughout his body to a new high. He wanted to be gentle, he really did, but at this point that seemed beyond his ability to do. He moved his head back up to Kagome's face and kissed her passionately for a long moment before reversing his earlier attentions from one breast to the other.

Kagome allowed her hands to roam his body as she moaned and arched her back, begging for more attention. She was glad when Sesshoumaru took the hint and began his ministrations harder.

Once more he returned for a kiss, knowing all the while of her fear and worry, but unable to keep his body from getting what it wanted any longer.

She had almost no warning when Sesshoumaru suddenly thrust his swollen and long shaft into her. Breaking her virginal barrier in one swift motion, sending pain sheering through Kagome's body. She tried to scream, to move, to do anything that would relieve her of some of this pain, but it was useless, Sesshoumaru's mouth covered her own and he was holding her tight to the spot.

Both demon and miko ki's swirled and began to mix and battle, they started to turn a strange purple shade, that was neither closer to red nor was it closer to pinkish red, it was directly even, but that wasn't enough. The ki's weren't fully mixed with one another, Kagome and Sesshoumaru weren't finished.

Sesshoumaru began to pump in and out of Kagome after he broke the kiss, "There will be little more pain, I promise." Sesshoumaru whispered huskily into her ear.

Kagome moaned and again her hands began to roam Sesshoumaru's body as his hands did the same thing to hers.

Sesshoumaru half chuckled as he grabbed both of Kagome's wrist and pinned them crossing over her head. "Don't try to gain control now." He half said half-moaned into her ear, panting heavily.

"I wasn't!" Kagome promised followed by a low moan and a growl of frustration, "I just want to touch you!" again she growled an all to dog- like growl,

Sesshoumaru smirked, "You should growl more often." He whispered as he licked her breast fighting the urge to pump faster and harder. "You'd convince your enemies that you were a dangerous youkai if you did." He breathed

Kagome didn't hear him, she was starting to get frustrated now. Sesshoumaru was going to slow, she wanted more, and she wanted it now! Her body wasn't climaxing and she wanted to NOW! "SesshouMARU!" she growled out. "Don't. Stop. Go. Faster!" Kagome growled moaned and begged at the same time.

Sesshoumaru heard her mix of animalistic characteristics and could not deny her what she wanted, now could he? He started pumping into her with all of his strength suddenly, as fast as his body would allow. (Which is a whole hell of a lot you know)

He didn't know what was going on around him any longer, he felt his canine fangs start to actually grow, for what he didn't know. Then his eyes changed on him, they became blood red making his body strangely more sensitive to what he was doing. He gazed down at the woman beneath him and found his attention set on her neck. He could smell some blood on her from a small cut his claw had accidentally made. Yet didn't know why he could harm her nor of why she didn't heal, but his mind wasn't coherent enough to care.

Sesshoumaru licked his lips, the bloods smell was delightful to his nose, he wanted a taste and a mate, and one thing would achieve both goals.

Kagome saw him licking his lips as well as the red color in his eyes it was scaring her. He wasn't looking at her really, rather he was starring at her neck, what did he plan on doing? All thoughts vanished from her mind as she suddenly reached her climax, pleasure she could never have dreamed of, when it was almost stalled by Sesshoumaru's fangs biting down into her neck, where her shoulder met her neck as he released his hot seed into her waiting womb.

Sesshoumaru licked up all the blood from a panting Kagome's neck before collapsing to the side next to her, his eyes returned to their normal color and he sighed in contentment. He was happy now, their ki's had returned to them and he could feel the new strength flow throughout his body. Kagome didn't notice because she had already fallen asleep.

'Mine.' Sesshoumaru thought, 'she doesn't yet know, but she's mine now.' He sighed and cuddled the sleeping Kagome and nodded off into sleep, the reason he wasn't worried was because this was within his castle barriers, and no one would attempt to get inside for any reason. At least not without his permission of course.

Jaken had some stupid grin on his face as he looked off in the direction of the field Sesshoumaru and Kagome were in.

"Why is Jaken smiling? Can Rin know?" Rin piped from behind the toad demon.

"Pipe down brat! You're supposed to be in bed now!" Jaken screeched not looking back at the young child.

"Rin couldn't sleep. Rin was worried about Sesshoumaru-sama!" Rin said loudly, "So what is Jaken smiling about?"

"Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to tell you, Sesshoumaru-sama has chosen his mate, and a powerful mate by the sounds and energies that have become of it."

"Jaken?" Rin asked sounding innocent.

"Yes, Rin?"

"What is mate? Rin doesn't know what that means."

Jaken blanched. "N-NEVER YOU MIND!" Jaken yelled, "Besides humans shouldn't even be allowed to mate!" the green thing screamed blushing a strange orange color.
