Depend On Me

Chapter 1 ~~~* Promises *~~~

 

“Inuyasha, it's been four days when are you going to go and get Kagome?” The young kitsune cried. Inuyasha, lounging in the Goshinkboku tree, was getting paranoid that Kagome has been taking too long in her time. Inuyasha couldn't take any more. He jumped over to the Bone-eaters well and jumped into sending him 500 years in time.

 

“Okay, momma! I'll be down in a few minutes.” Kagome got off her bed and started rummaging through her closet. `Inuyasha is gonna be so mad, I promised him I be there yesterday. I'm surprised he hasn't come yet.' Then came the pitter patter on the window, she glanced over to where Inuyasha was crouched waiting for her to open up the window. `Thought too soon.'

Kagome treaded over to the window and cracked it open, within the next second Inuyasha was in the room.

 

“What's taking you so long wench? What happened to the promise of `I'll be back in three days;' nonsense.” Inuyasha clambered over to where Kagome stood and hovered a good five inches or so over her small frame figure. `What I wouldn't give for a… What am I thinking I am not allowed to be thinking that? She's a human and I'm a hanyou.' Inuyasha backed up a few steps to not be overwhelmed with her scent that was telling him that she was aroused. Kagome slowly sauntered over to where he stood and wrapped her arms around his chest. `Am I supposed to not like this? If so I am a dead man.' Inuyasha countered with a grip pulling her closer to him. He didn't want to let go of this moment when time stopped for him. He didn't want anything else in the world except her loving him. Inuyasha wasn't sure where this was going to lead them to, so when they slightly pulled apart and gazed down into each others eyes they knew what was coming next. Kagome closed her eyes and let fate take control. Inuyasha leaned down to her and captured her mouth with his, wanting to explore the treasure that stood in front of him, he nipped at her bottom lip waiting for consent to explore the recesses of her mouth. Kagome moaned in anticipation. `This is nice, I like this. I could get used to this.' Wanting to get comfortable they ambled over to her bed and plopped down, Inuyasha did not want to let go for this was what he wanted in life… To be loved.

 

When they finally broke apart, they made eye contact and they both could see the lust in each others eyes. They kissed one more time, when they were interrupted by the image of Kagome's mom walking into the room to the sight of them kissing.

 

“Finally, you guys are together. I suspected that you were here Inuyasha so I made an extra plate. Dinner is done, you can come when both of you composure yourselves.” Kagome's mom walked out of the room. Kagome couldn't contain herself, she started giggling. Inuyasha soon joined with his deep laugh. Inuyasha leaned over her again and planted his lips on hers and exchanged with her the love he didn't know how to voice.

 

Kagome stepped out of her bathroom with her school uniform on. Inuyasha and she walked down the stairs with their hands intertwined together. Kagome's mom hasn't felt the happiness of Kagome any bolder then just when she walked in the doorway to the kitchen with Inuyasha right behind her, his hands on her hips. She could tell that they would get along quite well.

 

“Inuyasha you can sit next to Kagome if you want.” Kagome's mom said with interest of the new couple.

 

Inuyasha was glad that her mom accepted him, if he did become part of the family. He sat down without saying a word, pulling Kagome with him, she almost landing in his lap. He smiled at her to try and tell her that he truly deeply cared for her. He would do anything for her. The promises of the next day to only be filled with his love for her. `I love her. Kagome I wish you could read my mind because it is easier for me.'
