Part II

Kagome woke up the next morning to Inuyasha kissing her neck lightly while spooning her from behind. She smiled lazily as she lifted her right hand to behind her and began to rub his ear, making him purr happily. 

She rolled over to be face to face with her soulmate and when her eyes fluttered open, she saw the beautiful golden ones of her hanyou. She put her arm around his middle and pressed her breasts against his chest as she leaned in and kissed him lovingly.

"Good morning, Inuyasha," she murmured against his mouth.

Inuyasha grinned as he kissed her again. "Mornin'."

Kagome smiled as she tucked her face into his chest and cuddled closer. "Where's Isamu?"

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her and began stroking her back. "Let him out a few minutes ago."

Kagome hummed in acknowledgement as she closed her eyes and snuggled closer. "Do you want to eat breakfast here or go out? I'm making us dinner tonight."

Inuyasha chuckled as he buried his nose in the top of her head and breathed in deeply. "Whatever you want."

Before Kagome could answer, Inuyasha's cellphone starting ringing. Inuyasha groaned in displeasure, making Kagome giggle in response. Kagome rolled over onto her back and sat up as Inuyasha - a very naked Inuyasha - got up and bent down to get his phone from his pants on the floor. Kagome made sure not to waste that opportunity to check out his backside without any sort of barrier in the way.

Inuyasha's ear twitched in her direction and she blushed, obviously having been caught checking him out, but he didn't acknowledge it out loud. Instead, he checked the caller ID, groaned, and sat on the edge of the bed to answer it.

Kagome's entire body flushed crimson as he began his phone call.

"Yeah, Ma?"

Kagome put her face in her hands as her embarrassment increased. 'How did I forget he lives at home with his parents?' Then another thought crossed her mind. 'Is he like, gonna get in trouble or something?' She sighed and flopped onto her back on the bed, trying to dispell those thoughts as he continues his conversation that she feels should probably be more private.

"No, it's fine," he replied into the phone.

It doesn't help that she can only hear one side of the conversation.

She saw his ears turn a slight pink as he stuttered out an answer to whatever his mother had said on the other end of the phone.

"Y-yeah, I'm uh... with Kagome..."

Kagome's eyes widened as she stared at the back of his head. Many thoughts swirling around in her mind, and none of them are good.

"Alright, Ma. I'll let ya know. L-love you too. Bye."

He hung up his phone and turned around slowly. Their eyes locked, and for a few short antagonizing seconds, it was silent and awkward. Inuyasha threw his phone to the foot of the bed and laid back down next to Kagome, their eyes just glued on the other.

Finally, Kagome couldn't take the silence any longer. "So... you told your mother about me?"

Inuyasha's ears wilted slightly as he nodded his head.

Kagome didn't quite know what to think about that. Would his parents be upset that he is having relations with an older woman? Not only an older woman, but his highschool teacher? Would they call the school and get her fired? Would they call the police? She didn't realize she was nearly hyperventilating until Inuyasha grabbed her cheeks to force her to look at him.

She locked eyes with him again, and just the look of love shining in those golden depths calmed her down immensely. She took a deep breath in and let it out slowly. "Why?"

Inuyasha sighed as he wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck. "Because they already knew."

Kagome gasped and pulled back to look at him. "H-how?"

Inuyasha looked away for a second before looking back at her and moving a strand of her from her face to behind her ear. "Because of when I was little. My dad's a demon, remember?" 

Kagome rolled her eyes and huffed. "How could I forget? It's not like these are just for show." She tweaked one of his ears, making it twitch and a scowl to appear on his face. She couldn't prevent herself from smiling.

"Feh... Well, because I knew you were my soulmate, my dad hadta give me the uh... talk... a little early." Kagome blushed, but he continued. "N-not really the sex talk. Demons already have an understanding of that when they are little because of the smell of their parents doin' it." This made her blush increase tenfold. "They had to explain why I was so drawn to you, and then they told me that I couldn't pursue you until I was older."

Kagome nodded her head slowly, and then she relaxed as she cuddled her face back into his chest. "So... they are okay with this?... With... us?"

Inuyasha chuckled as he kissed the top of her head. "Yeah. My mother actually uh... said just now that she wants to see you..."

Kagome's body tensed up again, her heart rate escalating. Meet his parents? Well, they have already met, but that was so long ago! Now she is dating their teenage son and... and planning on mating him soon... 

She was pulled out of her racing mind by Inuyasha squeezing her tight and rubbing circles along her back. "Hey, we ain't gotta go see them until you're ready. You know I won't force you into anything, right?"

Kagome's body relaxed in his hold once again as she sighed and nodded her head. "Y-yeah. Sorry, Inu. It just kind of caught me off guard."

She looked back up at his face and couldn't help the small smile at how amazing he is. She raised her hand to his face and traced his jaw line with the tips of her fingers.

Inuyasha leaned his face into her hand and nuzzled into it, making her smile widen. "Well, let's not worry about that right this second. I kinda wanna go out for breakfast and coffee at my favorite café, if that's alright with you?"

Inuyasha's eyes widened as he looked at her and he flashed a large fanged smile. "You wanna go out with me where people might recognize you?" His ears wiggled in excitement and it only made her feel even happier to be with him.

Kagome nodded. She figures that they will be mates real soon anyway, so they might as well ease their way into the public. Then by the time he graduates highschool, it won't matter who all knows about them.

Inuyasha hugged her tight, having her wrap her own arms around him in return. They stayed like that for a little while until they heard Isamu bark to be let inside. Kagome laughed as she got up in bed and grabbed a change of clothes from her closet. Inuyasha went to get his overnight bag and then after letting Isamu in, they decided to take separate showers for now. Kagome went into her ensuite bathroom while Inuyasha used the hall bathroom. 

When they were both clean and dressed, Kagome fed and watered the puppy, then they grabbed their phones, wallet, and purse and headed out. Inuyasha drove them to the café, Kagome's hand resting on his thigh the entire drive.

When they made it to the café, they both got out of the car and Kagome took a deep breath in as she grabbed his hand in hers and began to walk towards the entrance. She could feel his eyes on her, his surprise at her public display of affection, especially in a familiar area to her, but she kept her gaze forward and smiled softly as he gave her hand a reassuring squeeze in return. 

Inuyasha opened the door for her, making her smile and shake her head in amusement, internally laughing at how he is still trying to impress her when that happened without anything occuring that would be considered gentlemenly. 

They ordered their hot beverages and breakfast and then sat down at a table while it is being made. Kagome saw Inuyasha's ears plastering to his head and an annoyed scowl on his face, making her reach her hand across the table to grasp onto his. He looked up at her, surprised, his mouth opening and closing a few times.

Kagome just smiled as she rubbed his knuckles with the pad of her thumb. "It's fine, Inu." She heard a couple people murmuring about the 'older woman' with the 'half-breed child', but she doesn't care about that. 

Honestly, she doesn't really care about what others think about them being together anymore. The only thing she is worried about at this point is keeping her job for being personally involved with a student, but if the time comes where she would have to deal with that, she will... and she will choose her soulmate, no matter what.

Inuyasha shook his head and sighed. "It ain't okay. People shouldn't talk about you like that." 

Kagome cocked her head to the side. "Who cares what they say about me? I'm more upset about the things they say about you."

That earned a small smile from her hanyou along with his ears perking back up slightly. "Feh, I'm used to the name calling and shit. I just didn't..." He looked away. "I didn't think about people taking it out on you because of what I am."

Kagome scowled as she stood up and sat down next to Inuyasha instead. Her heart is racing because of what she is about to do, but if this doesn't prove it to him, then she doesn't know what will. She grabbed him by his forelocks and pulled his face to hers, their lips clashing together in a kiss that is far from innocent in nature. She smiled against his mouth when she heard a few gasps of surprised along with a few murmurs. But none of that matters to her anymore.

She is going to spend her whole life with this man, so why hide it from these strangers?

When she pulled away from his mouth, he was gaping at her like a fish, which made her laugh aloud and give him another chase kiss before turning in the seat and resting her head on his shoulder. She felt him wrap his arm around her and nuzzle the side of her head, breathing in her scent.

"I'm not going to leave because of some bigoted nonsense. I love you, my idiotic hanyou." She lifted her face to look back into his eyes. "So no more pouting."

His smile turned into an irritated frown, only making her grin widen. "I ain't pouting."

Kagome laughed as she reached up and rubbed one of his ears. "Sure you're not. You are pouting like a puppy who didn't get his treat."

Inuyasha growled as Kagome laughed, then he leaned forward and nipped her ear, making her gasp, and then he whispered huskily, his hot breath making her shiver in delight. "I haven't gotten my treat... yet."

Kagome tried to calm down her heightening arousal, knowing there are other demons around that could easily smell it. She pulled back to mock glare at him, but then she looked at him mischievously and leaned forward so their lips are barely brushing together. "I'll give you your treat tonight, my sexy mate."

Inuyasha growled as he reconnected their mouths, but their flirtatious kiss was cut short by a familiar voice.

"Kagome-chan! Inuyasha!"

They pulled apart, both sporting matching blushes as they turned and saw not only Rin, but Sesshomaru and their three year old twin girls too. Rin rushed forward and hugged Kagome from her side of the table before sitting across from her happily. Rin waved her mate over and had him sit across from the irritated hanyou while the twins excitedly jumped into Inuyasha's lap, causing him to let out a small 'oof!' 

"Uncle doggie!" the twins exclaimed at once.

Kagome couldn't stop her laughter as she watched the sweet children climb on her mate-to-be's lap like little monkey demons, instead of dog demons. She turned to see both Rin and Sesshomaru sitting across from them. Rin looked happy to see them, while Sesshomaru looked nothing if not bored.

"Rin-chan. I didn't expect to see you here today."

Rin nodded happily, practically bouncing in her seat. "I come here every weekend." She looked between Kagome and Inuyasha. "So, I see you two have gotten close."

Kagome blushed while Inuyasha just looked confused. "What the fu—uh, what do you know about it?" At Rin's hard glare, he stopped himself from cursing in front of the toddlers.

Rin shook her head in exasperation. "I know you and my lovely friend, Kagome-chan, are soulmates."

Inuyasha finally managed to get the girls to calm down, the white haired one on his left leg, and the black haired one on his right. He looked at Kagome who was sitting there blushing and biting her lip nervously. He grinned at her and chuckled.

"You talked about me?"

Kagome scowled at him. "Once!"

Rin piped in with, "actually, twice."

Kagome put her hands in her face and sighed before looking back up and locking eyes with the older demon. She swallowed down her nerves and held her hand out, "hi. I'm Kagome."

Sesshomaru looked at her hand and then back at her eyes and blinked once. "I know who you are."

Kagome chuckled nervously and pulled her hand back into her lap. "Y-yeah?"

Sesshomaru gave her a curt nod. "The baka spoke of you for years. It was exhausting."

Inuyasha growled, and before anyone could say anything further, their order was ready at the counter and Inuyasha mumbled an 'I got it' before getting up with the monkey children hanging onto him, grabbing the food and drinks and then returning to the table. He handed Kagome's coffee to her and she smiled as he sat down next to her. Without really thinking, she leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thanks Inu."

"F-feh." 

She blushed, but her smile didn't waver at the adorable look on his face and the fact that his own blush reached his adorable ears.

"I'm so happy for you both!" Rin exclaimed excitedly. "It's not everyday you find your soulmate."

Kagome nodded her head as she looked from Inuyasha over to her new friend and Inuyasha's older brother. "So... Uh, what are these adorable girls' names?" She looked over at the twins who were looking back at her inquisitively.

Inuyasha bounced the one on his left knee and said, "this is Towa," then bounced the one on his right knee, "and this is Setsuna."

"Hi girls. I'm Kagome."

The two hanyou looked at her speculatively for a moment before giggling and waving with a loud, "hiii!"

Kagome laughed and looked back at Rin. "They're adorable."

For the next thirty minutes or so, the odd group ate their breakfast together and sipped on coffees. Kagome learned that while Inuyasha and Sesshomaru used to have a very hateful relationship, after Sesshomaru met his human soulmate, he reconciled with his little brother. That doesn't necessarily mean they love each other, but they at least tolerate each other, and Rin and the twins love Inuyasha too.

Kagome kept glancing at her hanyou and couldn't prevent the fluttering in her chest and the warmth in her stomach from watching him with the girls. He may be really young, but it's clear he loves his family. As much as she tried not to think about it so much right now, the image of a small child with silver hair and dog ears in Inuyasha's arms filled her mind and made her heart feel more complete.

She gave him a small wistful smile when he looked her way, and then she turned back to Rin who had asked a question that she may or may not have been paying attention to. "I'm sorry, Rin-chan. What was that?"

Rin waved it off with a laugh. "I was just wondering if you and Inuyasha would like to come over for dinner tomorrow night. We would love to have you."

Kagome looked to Inuyasha and he only shrugged so she turned back with a smile and a nod. "Sure. We'll be there."

After that impromptu family breakfast, Inuyasha and Kagome went straight back to Kagome's house to hang out for the day, just the two of them and Isamu.

They continued to watch the last thirty minutes of the movie in relative silence, both happy and content with what's to come of their future.

Inuyasha smirked as he grabbed her by the back of her neck with his left hand and kissed her, his right hand going between her legs and fingering her slowly. She moaned and bucked against his hand. When he pulled back, he grinned at her.

"Fuck, you smell so good." She watched, transfixed, as he pulled his fingers out of her, covered in his cum and her juices, and sucked his fingers clean. She nearly fainted at the predatory look in his eye, and then before she could even think to do anything, he fingered her again, making her moan out. He thrust two fingers inside of her a few times before pulling them out and holding them in front of her mouth. Without being prompted, she opened her mouth and happily sucked and licked his fingers clean, moaning as she did so.

For a few seconds after that, they stared at each other, as if they were contemplating whether or not to go for another round. But Kagome was the voice of reason and began to get dressed, handing him his clothes so he can dress also. After he told her the coast was clear, she made sure to leave first so that she could get to the class before him. 

She checked her watch and then made it back to the classroom about fifteen minutes after she left. Hopefully that isn't too odd for anyone that may ask questions who doesn't know about her personal relationship with her student. Inuyasha arrived back a few minutes after her and class went on like usual. There were a few crude comments from some of the students which she ignored, not wanting any of them to retaliate by telling the principal if she gets them in trouble, and Inuyasha growled at them to 'shut the fuck up'. 

She inwardly rolled her eyes as she collected everyone's worksheets and then handed out homework before sitting back at her desk for the final thirty minutes of the day.

Another week or so has gone by and Kagome is sitting on the couch with Isamu and Sango. It's Friday, so Inuyasha should be coming over soon, he just had to babysit his nieces for a few hours first. She would have gone with him, but after a long week at school, and her raging libido, she doesn't want to be in a room with him while children are present. So she instead stayed home with her fast growing puppy and her best friend, the two of them drinking wine while they watch TV and talk about anything and everything.

"So, how are you and Inuyasha doing recently?"

Kagome flushed crimson as she took a large swig of her wine. "Uhm... g-good. Why do you ask?"

Sango shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly as she swished her wine around in the glass and scratched Isamu behind the ear. "Apparently some teachers are talking about something they may have heard the other day..."

Kagome's eyes shot to her friend's, her mouth opening and closing like a fish. Finally she responded with an intellegent, "huh?"

Sango took a sip of her drink and eyed Kagome speculatively. "Is it true that you guys fucked in the guys locker room?"

Kagome stared at her friend in shock, her entire body heating up in surprise embarrassment. "I... don't know what you're talking about." She turned her attention to the television as she pet Isamu and chugged her glass of wine.

Sango laughed and shook her head in amusement. "You are not making yourself seem innocent in this."

Kagome set her glass down and pulled Isamu into her lap, the happy puppy cuddling his face into her stomach, his tail wagging. She idly played with his ears as she spoke. "I..." She sighed as her shoulders slumped. "I can't help it!" She looked at her amused friend. "It's like... every time I'm in the same room as him, I want to freaking rip his clothes off!"

Sango covered her mouth to try and hide her laughter, but Kagome glared at her anyway. Sango waved her hand in front of her and took a calming breath in. "Sorry. I mean, you are newly mated. Maybe this is just some sort of side effect." She shrugged her shoulders and took another sip of wine.

Kagome groaned and threw her head back against the couch, Isamu let out a small growl at the movement and pushed his nose back into her stomach. "His family said we would be a lot more vigorous for like a hundred years or something...," she turned her head to look at Sango, "...but this is different. I started needing him about a week ago. I was able to control myself during school hours, but now..." She shook her head and sighed.

"Is it really so bad? I mean... it seems like a good thing to me..."

Kagome glared at her. "Yeah, if he wasn't my freaking highschool student. I didn't want the other teachers to know! How the hell have I not been called to speak with our superiors? It doesn't make sense!"

Sango sighed as she set her glass down on the coffee table and fully faced her. "Calm down, Kagome-chan. It isn't that big of a deal. You two are mates. You're basically married, so maybe that doesn't go against the rules? I don't know, but to me it seems like you're in the clear."

Kagome raised her hands to rub her temples as a headache began to force its way through. She looked down at Isamu when he growled at not being pet anymore, but she only rolled her eyes. "I'm surrounded by canines."

Sango laughed. "It isn't all bad though."

Kagome turned and grinned. "Definitely not." They chuckled for a moment and then looked down at her puppy, who seems to be more cuddly than usual. "Is this normal? The past couple of days Isamu has been wanting to stay near me all the time. Always sniffing me and then cuddling into me."

Sango shrugged her shoulders. "I wouldn't know. I've only ever had Kirara and she's pretty independent. But I'm pretty sure some dogs can be pretty clingy."

Kagome scratched Isamu under the chin and smiled down at him. "Yeah. It's probably nothing."

A couple of hours later, Inuyasha walked into the house. Kagome had given him a key a few days prior so he could use it whenever he came over. Sango had left about an hour ago, so it's just been Kagome and Isamu. She had mentioned offhandedly that she has a date tonight, but when Kagome tried to ask if she knew him, Sango blushed and changed the subject before leaving. Kagome just shrugged her shoulders and went back to be with Isamu. The poor puppy has been trailing her the entire time. Whether she went to the restroom, or made some food, or just sat down in front of the TV, he was always near her, sniffing her, licking her, and whining when she moved him aside so she could get up. It started to worry her.

So as Inuyasha walked into the living room, she made little grabby motions with her hands and he grinned as he sat down next to her and wrapped his right arm around her shoulders. She rested her head against him and hugged him around his waist with a satisfied sigh. She looked at Isamu, who is still sitting in her lap with his nose pressed into her stomach and she shook her head.

She looked up at Inuyasha. "Inu?"

He looked back down at her, the pad on his thumb drawing small circles on her shoulder. "Hmm?"

"Do you know if something is wrong with Isamu? He's been very clingy the past couple of days, and today it's only gotten worse."

Inuyasha looked at the puppy and cocked his head to the side. He growled and yipped a few times, but Isamu refused to answer. He just whined and cuddled into Kagome's stomach even harder. Inuyasha growled louder, but Isamu still refused to respond. Inuyasha sighed and looked back to a confused Kagome.

"He won't tell me. Something is making him want to protect you though."

Kagome looked down at the puppy who's ears are flattened to his head, and she moved her arm from around Inuyasha to pet the puppy's ear. "My poor puppy. Everything is fine."

Inuyasha shrugged his shoulders. "I don't sense anything wrong. You don't feel sick, do you?"

Kagome shook her head before cuddling into his side. His scent surrounded her and it made her already raging hormones go into overdrive. The next thing she knew, Inuyasha growled and lifted her face up by the chin.

"What the hell were ya thinking about just now, woman?"

Kagome smiled coyly as she looked into his sparkling golden eyes. "Mmm. How good you smell."

Inuyasha groaned. "Fuck." He dipped his head down to capture her lips with his, making Kagome let out a soft moan in response.

Their lips danced together for a few moments, mutual desire growing as time goes by. When Kagome pulled away to catch her breath, she cupped his cheek in her hand and murmured, "bedroom."

Inuyasha smirked as he stood and held his hand out for her. She moved Isamu to the side and took Inuyasha's hand in her own, standing up also. "Tell him to stay."

Inuyasha spoke a few words in Inu to Isamu, the puppy whined but relented after a moment. Kagome giggled and took Inuyasha's hand to rush to the bedroom. They closed the door and began to undress each other, their clothes scattering around randomly as they made it closer to the bed, stolen kisses in between their tryst.

They fell to the mattress together, laying on their sides facing each other with matching smiles on their faces. Kagome kissed him and then Inuyasha froze as a pulse went through his body. Kagome gasped as she pulled away and watched in fascination as Inuyasha's silver hair faded to black, his golden eyes changed to dark gray, his fangs and claws disappeared to be human teeth and finger nails, and his adorable doggie ears changed to human ones on the side of his head.

He looked absolutely horrified, but Kagome only smiled and reached forward to trace his jaw with her fingers. "It's been a long time since I've seen that."

Inuyasha let out a long puff of air. She could tell his more human emotions were getting the better of him, so she wanted to distract him. She leaned forward and kissed him once again, slow and sweet, and rolled them over so she is on top of him. She straddled him as she probed his lips with her tongue and moaned softly when he let her in.

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer to him by her lower back. Kagome pulled away from his mouth to kiss under his chin and then his neck. She raised her head back up to look down at him and she smiled.

"Did you think I wouldn't want to be with you as a human, you dummy?"

If he had his hanyou ears, they would have flattened, going by the guilty look in his expression. Kagome rolled her eyes and kissed him softly before speaking against his mouth.

"You're my mate. I'll always wanna be with you, Inu. No matter what form you are in."

"Gods, you're perfect." He pulled her mouth back down to his, and then rolled them over so he is the one on top.

Kagome giggled against his mouth and then moaned as she felt his hardened cock slide along her wet core. She thrust her body against him, letting him know what she wants, and he easily granted her silent request by slipping inside slowly. They both moaned as their lips continued to dance together. Inuyasha pushed as deep as he could go and stayed that way for a few moments, the both of them not wanted this moment to end.

Kagome wrapped her arms around his back and hugged him close as he pulled out and slowly pushed back in, making her moan out in pleasure. He continued with this slow and steady pace inside of her, her own hips working along with his in perfect harmony. They moaned together as they moved together, their hands not idle as they felt along each other's naked bodies.

Kagome wrapped her legs around his waist and mewled against his mouth as he hit that special spot deep inside. She opened her mouth for him when he licked her lips, and their tongues swirled around one another as their bodies continued their slow dance. 

The only sounds in the room are of their soft moans and sighs of pleasure along with the sounds of flesh on flesh as they made love for the first time in his human form. 

"I-Inuyasha...," Kagome whispered just as he pulled his face away to look into her eyes.

"So beautiful," he murmured just before he captured her lips once again. 

Kagome scratched his back as she moaned into the kiss, her body reacting to each and every little thing he does and says, pushing up against him and whining against his mouth as he hits her cervix with every thrust. 

He increased his movements just slightly, both of them beginning to pant as they get lost in each other. Inuyasha pulled his mouth away and rested his forehead against hers as their bodies writhe together.

Kagome moved her hands from his back upwards; her right hand cradling the nape of his neck while her left hand cups his cheek. Their breaths are mingling together as they stare into the other's eyes. Kagome whimpered at the incredible pleasure she is experiencing at the moment.

"I-I love you."

Inuyasha groaned as his eyes involuntarily closed and he rolled his hips, making her gasp out in surprise pleasure. "Fuck. I love you so much."

Kagome closed her own eyes, her head falling back against the pillow and her arms wrapping back around him, pulling him closer against her body. She could feel her orgasm slow approaching, the way they are moving together making her entire body feel warm and tingly. She is panting and whimpering at how intense this rapture is. 

She managed to open her eyes back up and they locked with Inuyasha's dark gray ones immediately. His eyes were so intense, so serious, but so full of love, that she couldn't prevent her body from reacting. She moaned out his name as she sped up her own movements from beneath him. She can feel how close she is and she can't stop herself from letting go.

"I-Inuyasha..."

Inuyasha grunted as he sped up his own thrusts, his lips hovering just above hers. "Let it go baby. I've got you."

Kagome gasped and then cried out as her orgasm hit her like never before. It was slow and soft, but no less intense than usual. The tingling sensation spread slowly throughout her body, starting at the pit of her stomach and moving outwards. Her eyes watered as such deep emotions tore at her for no apparent reason. She closed her eyes as a tear escaped and then moaned softly as Inuyasha's lips brushed against hers. She felt his thumb wipe away her tears as he brushed her lips with his over and over again. 

Just as she was coming down from such an intense orgasm, Inuyasha grunted and groaned as he bottomed out inside of her. She could feel him throbbing and twitching and she knew he is finishing also. She hugged him tightly to her body as she continued to return his soft and loving kisses.

Inuyasha groaned and collapsed on top of her after one last slow thrust. They laid like that for a few silent moments, just holding each other in the aftermath of their love.

Kagome let out a long breath as Inuyasha rolled off of her and laid on his side facing her. She rolled over onto her left side to face him also and they wrapped their arms and legs around each other as if letting go would surely kill them.

Kagome cuddled into his chest and smiled. "I love you, Inu."

Inuyasha held her tighter in his arms as he replied, "I love you too."

Kagome could feel her eyes get heavy as sleep began to set in. She didn't want to succumb to slumber just yet, but it was quickly a losing battle. The feeling of her soulmate's warmth wrapped so protectively around her after making love was too comfortable to ignore. With one last yawn, she cuddled in deeper and fell asleep.

The next morning, she woke up to the feeling of Inuyasha's youki returning. Her eyes fluttered open and immediately clashed with his just before they returned to his normal golden hues. She smiled as she raised her hand to pet his doggie ears just as they returned and her smile widened when he cuddled into the palm of her hand.

She noticed Isamu was in the bed with them, his nose laying on top of her stomach as he has grown accustomed to do in the past few days. She has grown used to Inuyasha letting the puppy back in after she falls asleep, so it isn't a surprise that he is here now.

What is a surprise however, is the look of pure shock on Inuyasha's eyes as his youki returns fully. She looked at him and cocked her head to the side. "Inuyasha? What's wrong?"

Inuyasha's eyes widened and his mouth opened and closed a few times without a single sound. She began to worry, but didn't get a chance to ask what was wrong because the hanyou started to sniff along her body, sort of like how Isamu has been sniffing her recently.

She dropped her hand from his ear to lay at her side and sat up slightly, leaning back on her elbows. "Uh... what're you doing?" She blushed as he sniffled her neck and then her chest and then down to her stomach right where Isamu seems to be protectively laying.

When he was done with his inspection, he lifted his face to look into her eyes. The look he was giving her was starting to freak her out, so she reached forward and cupped his cheek. "Inu. What is going on?"

Inuyasha gulped as he looked at the puppy resting his face on her stomach and then back up into her concerned brown eyes. "You uh... sure you don't feel... off?"

Kagome's eyebrows pinched together in confusion, not quite getting where this is going. "No? Inuyasha, just tell me what's going on. Obviously you know something that I don't."

Inuyasha took a deep breath in, and the next words out of his mouth was not what she was expecting to hear.

"Kagome... you're pregnant."
