------------------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------
Kagome had finally gotten off her online instant Messenger system, and turned her computer off.
She set about her nightly tactics of getting to sleep. Having a long shower, and scrubbing off, her black make-up. Then changing into old pj's. Setting the alarm, and climbing into bed.
Her mind wandered to the boy from the day.
-- What did he mean by I'll get my revenge, and all that other cheap-movie-line crap!! gah! Just get to beg Kagome! It's already late.-- Kagome turned, threw the covers over her head and willed sleep to take her away fro, reality
As the final drops of consciousness left her, she could feel her self-being lifted, upwards fro her bed. She was unable to move.
Kagome tried to open her mouth, but nothing would come out of it, no matter how hard she wanted he vocal chords to sound.
-- Kami dammit! What's happening to me?!-- Kagome started to panic. She could feel herself being raised further into the darkness... but that's all it was. Darkness.
Kagome quickly realized she wasn't in her bedroom anymore. Wherever she was, the darkness consumed.
It was like a strange dream, but she knew that this was NO dream. And as quickly as she realized this, she felt her body being thrown forward, and down.
"umph!" Kagome timidly murmured.
Kagome looked up "greaaaat. Where am I? HELLUUUU? ANYBODY THERE?" Kagome was starting to panic
Looking around, only to find dark no matter where she was, she pushed herself up, and tried to move forward.
Trudging forward, into pure darkness, Kagome stopped calling for the help, and or personage that would never come.
-- Where am I?! Why is this happening to me?-- Kagome gave an involuntary shiver, that ran from her head to her sock clad toes.
** pad pad** "I heard that!" Kagome said more to herself then the mysterious sound that came from behind her.
Kagome quirked her head to the right, ever so slightly. "i..i know.. It's coming toward me" Kagome's fleeting feeling of happiness of being with somebody draped away, to reveal a panic.
She had no clue as to what, who or really, where this thing was coming from. All She knew, somewhere in her head that it's not a happy thing.
Involuntarily Kagome covered her face and eyes with her arms. Her pale palms facing away from her head.
That's when she saw it. A baby blue light emanating from her palms. She slowly looked up to confirm where she thought the light was coming from.
As the information of this heat was registering in her mind's recess, she heard it. Kagome looked with a jolt in front of her.
"AAAUUURRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!"
The noise was ear shattering, and painful.
Kagome couldn't quite see through the light, but she could tell that whatever was making this noise, was in pain, and had a red aura around him. She couldn't take her eyes of this presence, even though it hurt her eyes to continue to look.
"NO!" Kagome had a feeling like she couldn't let this happen. It couldn't be hurt. It hurt her, to allow it to continue!
Kagome used all her force to move her hands, which quelled the light, and started to run forward, as, to her, in slow motion.
As soon as she reached the huddled mass before her, she reached out for him (as she had come to realize it must be male, whether human or not was still up for debate) The red aura, started to dissipate, and she saw him, really for the first time in her dream.
As soon as her hand touched his shoulder, he snapped up but the atmosphere shattered before he looked at her.
Her room was the same. She was the same. No heat on her palms, and no evidence of her being away.
Kagome looked at her alarm clock it was already 4. "great! I have to be up in 3 hours!"
She shrugged off what had happened and grasped at her duvet to bring it over her head, to block out the memories that would NOT go away.
**Outside, and behind the great god tree**
"Kami! Damn that hurt!"
"Did not I tell you that she was in fast the one?"
"yeah yeah. I needed to know for myself"
"Shes stronger then I thought. She broke through my dream spell"
"hmm..."
"What Inuyasha,..?"
"Nothing, she...she just touched me. That's all. Wasn't expecting her to get close enough to me to do that."
"hrm. yes. I wasn't expecting her to accomplish as much as she did" the young man sighed and looked at the huddled mass, he deemed his friend "you need some help?"
"damn straight! That wench could have killed me!" Inuyasha gave his friend, a glare that could melt ice, which Marko, kindly ignored.
"common..." Marko knelt down to offer his shoulder, as a crutch.
"we have a lot to do tomorrow. dream spells are one thing. real life is different. her powers haven't immerged yet."
"fine fine. I'll make sure she's well prepared"
"er... yeah. I would hate to think she didn't know what's coming"
Miroku nearly had heart failure at his friend's words, but kept his cool demeanor"oh?!..."
"er... yeah. I mean. She's gonna be on our side, in the end. she would be pissed to think she didn't have an advantage in the beginning, right"
"er...yes, Inuyahsa"
"feh. just get me home."
"Yes Inuyasha"
The two walked away, from the house, containing the scared girl.
**back in the house**
--must...get...to...sleep!--
** 6:59 am. the next morning**
Kagome's eyes, were blood shot and puffy from the lack of sleep. She hadn't slept at all after the night's activities.
Kagome had tossed and turned in a silent debate with herself, as to whether or not she was going crazy. she had always wondered what it would take to make her finally snap. she just never realized, it would be one detention too many.
She slowly turned her head to face the screen of the digital alarm clock.
Her hand swung around to switch off the alarm, before it even started. -- I can't handle any high-pitched buzzing noises, right now--
Kagome brought he heels of her palms up to rub any sleep out of her eyes.
"ok, well Kagome. your up, crazy, and still tired... best thing for you is a shower!"
Kagome got out of bed and headed for a very hot shower, along with a bottle of vanilla body wash of her, from her dresser drawer. she only ever used this on special occasions, and when she needed a large pick-me-up.
After she got out of the shower, dried her hair, applied her classic, black cay-eye-liner, and changed into fishnets, a black skirt, a black CBGB shirt with sheer sleeves, and her cuffs galore, she decided it was time to leave for school.
She padded down stairs, her mum looked like she was going to have a mild heart attack.
"I heard you in the shower. you up early" her mum explained as to why she hadn't graced Kagome with yelling at her to get up.
"Yeah... well, more like Ifm up late, but same difference" Kagome looked at her black cuff-like watch, and decided she had enough time to eat. -- who knows, maybe t was the lack of food causing my mind to warp, giving me messed up dreams--
Kagome went around the side of her kitchen, and pulled open some cabinets. She ended up finding some reeces cereal, and decided that would do the trick.
Her mum looked at her, not saying a word. just happy she was eating. Albeit not proper food, in her mum's mind, but food none-the-less.
After Kagome has scarfed the peanut butter and chocolate food done, she got up and picked up her bag, heading for the door.
Her mum still searing at the empty bowl, broke out of her trance and adjusted her sights to Kagome
"erm, have a good day dear..." He voice slowly breaking
"yeah, sure" Kagome said in a low monotonous voice, leaving a bewildered mother in her wake.
*** at school ***
Kagome walked up to the school. In a slight daze from lack of sleep. she couldn't really remember walking from home to the school but really it wasn't the first time, for her to have a lack of memory, when she had a million things on her mind.
Kagome blinked at her school in amaze. this was the first time in a little over a year, she had been there this early in the morning. People where everywhere. a smile crept over her face, as she looked over to the side of the school. Behind there were the bleachers that her and her friends would meet at daily.
But things change. *sigh* --get over yourself Kagome. it's not then! it's now! Youfre different. Itfs all different, no matter how much it looks the same--
Kagome walked forward with a determination she hasn't had since the last time she walked through the front double doors, at an early time like this.
Kagome went on the short search to find her best friend, Sango, which she was sure would be at their shared locker.
Her search at her locker was rewarded with the sight of Sango leaning on the locker, reading a book, of ancient proportions.
"SANGO!" Kagome yelled from a few class doors down. Kagome couldn't wait to see the face her friend would give her.
Sango looked with a confused and worried look on her face. Her eyes met Kagome's and grew wide. the book that she was reading, snapped shut, and nearly fell from her arms.
"Kags! What are you doing here so early? I mean, not that I mind, it's just startling!"
"I know. I didn't sleep last night. So when 7 o'clock rolled around, I thought it would be better for me to try and attempt life, then try and get sleep."
"oh... why couldn't u sleep" Sango commented as casually as possible while opening her locker so her friend could use it.
"erm, no ...no reason. Why does their have to be a reason?!" Kagome said a little more faster then she would have wished.
Sango cocked an eyebrow. " I guess there doesn't have to be. Jeesh Kags I'm just worried. you've been acting weird since yesterday!"
"Ifm sorry. I'm just tired." commented Kagome while stuffing some more school books in her large yellow bag. "lets just get to class"
"yeah. Oh...er... Kags?"
"yeah"
"erm. Did u give anybody our locker combo?" Sango
"no. I don't trust anybody enough to do that"
"Oh, well, I found this book in our locker when I got here, it had a sticky-note with your name on it." Sango handed her the book form her other hand. the one she had been skimming through, when Kagome appeared.
Kagome was about to get mad at her friend, for looking through anything that was hers, but her eyes caught the title, and any anger turned into all her frustration from the night.
"MAGICK: POWERS OF ANCIENT TIMES. FEUDAL ERA EDITION. MIKO, WICCAN, AND MONKS BOOK OF SHADOWS."
--What the fuck?-- "are you joking me?"
"no, the first few pages look kinda cool. Is that thing authentic?" Sango said with a nod of her chin in the general vicinity of the book.
"I have no idea." Kagome stuffed the old book in her bag, hoping that when she would look there again, it would be gone.
"Lets just get to class Sango." Said Kagome in a nearly defeated tone. she knew the book would still be there. and she had a sinking feeling, that she knew who gave it to her. -- but why?--
** at lunch**
The two girls decided to skip the eating part of lunch, and walk around, until they reached the abandoned bleachers.
"wow. it almost feels like old times" Sango commented casually.
"No San, it doesn't" Kagome commented while climbing the stairs. not looking at her friend, but bitterness dripping from her lips.
"Whatever" Sango shrugged it off. Kagome had been complaining how tired she was all day, it was probably because of the same thing.
they reached the top, and sat down. Both looked around at the empty schoolyard.
"Kagome... I know you don't wanna hear it, but still. I'm gonna say it. I know you've changed since Houjo. And I'd love ya like a sister, no matter what you look like, or how you act, or how much you eat... but you we can't run from the past. you can't run away, or forget, but you can adapt. it's been a year!"
"Shut up Sango." Kagome said in a earily calm and quite voice. "I know. it's just hard, ok"
"I know, it's always hard when somebody..."
"Don't say it." Kagome's eyes peaked up with tears in her eyes, to tell her friend to stop. She had said her piece, and Kagome knew it was in the best of friendship. It just hurt too much.
"ok. You know though, I know your not eating. you mum phoned me"
" I figured. Your always pushing food on me" Kagome smiled a little "if I promise to eat more, will you forget about the rest."
"I will for now"
"Thanks" Kagome chuckled nervously to relive the tension that she could feel was growing tauter
Sango smiled, and looked half-heartedly around them again."yeah, so did u get a chance to read that freaky book at all?"
"yeah, in second period. I only read the first few pages, but it had to do with what Ifm feeling is energy, from something else yadda yadda yadda." Kagome tried to shrug it off, but she did indeed, read the first section, being so glued to what she was reading, her teacher got mad at her.
Kagome thought it was weird, because it explained so much, in such great detail. she knew now, what she was feeling, and she didn't feel so scared. In fact, after reading that, she came to the conclusion, to trust her instincts a little more.
For the first time in a long time, she felt as if she was special, and as if she meant something.
But Kagome couldn't understand why that book was there. she was fairly sure she knew who it was, but as to why... -- does he understand me? he can talk to me through thoughts, but does it just stop there?--
Kagome's thoughts were interrupted by a concerned Sango"hey... erm, why is that guy staring at us?" Sango said, with her eyes glued to a point behind Kagome
"what?...where?" Kagome turned around to see what she was looking at,
"over there...near the entrance"
"hey that's the guy from yesterday. the same one with a staring problem then!, but who is that other guy... he's kinda cute."
As soon as Kagome said that, is if on queue the mysterious person turned around and locked eyes with Kagome. Kagome gave a gasp that was very audible.
Inuyasha heard it even through the distance. he didn't know if her reaction was a good thing or not. -- Feh, what do I care! -- He said chiding himself, for worrying in the first place.
"Lets get this over with, Houshi!" Inuyasha said with out taking his eye lock off of Kagome. keeping his expressionless features, exactly that.
"yes, lets"
Sango had a look of fear, which the one of the 2 boys didn't miss. it hurt him to start what they were about to do. This beautiful creature before him could get hurt. But he swelled, any resistance and sighed.
"Kags... they don't look very happy" Sango's voice broke up near the end
"no,, no they don't"
"BLADES OF BLOOD!" yelled Inuyasha starting in a run, his black top hat flying off, on the movement.
-- move! get out of the way -- Miroku said telepathically to Kagome
-- no really! I can feel whatever that is coming at us -- Kagome told him. It seemed almost natural to do this, in the present situation.
Kagome could feel the bands of energy emanating from the boys hand. she could pinpoint the feeling this time. it felt like death.
"JUMP!" yelled Kagome. She wasn't exactly sure what it was, that was coming but she knew she had to get out of the way.
the two were at the top of the bleachers, and the only way to get out of harms way, was to jump.
Kagome grabbed what she could and ran.
Sango, as soon as she heard the warning, took heed. She ran faster then Kagome, threw over what she could. Took hold of Kagome's arm and jumped.
Both of the girls landed on their sides. sango, had hit her head, on a near by book and was drifting in-and-out of consciousness
Kagome on the other hand, was bleeding from various cuts on her right side, where she had landed.
The two girls looked up and saw the bleachers being torn, clean in to, by 4 bands of red light.
As soon as the deed was done the bleachers stood there with a gaping hole missing.
They started to teeter, and Kagome yelled out a scream.
Miroku watched in horror, knowing Kagome could stop it, but knowing her powers, just weren't ready. he could, but he was too far away.
Miroku opened his mouth to yell at them to run, but before any words were formed, the 2 girls were at his feet, with a panting Inuyasha beside them
"damn wenches. can't take care of themselves."
Miroku was awestruck. He had never known Inuyasha to save a life. Especially a female's. Inuyasha just didn't trust women. and he had good reason.
"I thought you said this chick was the one!?" Inuyasha said, trying hard not to scare the 2 girls in front of him.
"She is, Inuyahsa. you must be patient. She did allude your attack. is that not proof enough?"
"keh!" with that response, Inuyasha got up and walked to his top hat, which had fallen off previously. dusting himself, and the hat off, he walked back.
He walked in on part of a conversation between Kagome and Miroku
"...she'll be fine. I think its shell-shock."
Kagome nodded and continue to look at Sango "kind've like me not being able to sleep after my dream last night"
"I'm sorry, I... I do not understand your meaning", said Miroku with a quick glance at Inuyasha.
"It's ok. I know it was you and him" she said pointing at Inuyasha.
"Your book. From my locker. It said people have very different auras. I can tell. It used to confuse me, but now it makes sense...oh by the way thanks for the book"
Miroku still tried to fain confusion "what book could that be?"
Kagome smiled at Miroku, then Inuyasha "you really expect to believe the 2 of u are innocent by standards after that little stunt?" she said waving her hand at the dust cloud rising from the fallen bleachers.
"Fine. Have it your way. I’ll find out sooner or later."
Sango started to wake, and she turned to properly face Miroku. "um, is there anyway, you could carry her to our locker? Ifm gonna get her stuff and help her home. She should be completely awake by then. I'm just to shaky to carry her at all, right now"
Miroku nodded "understood. I would be only too pleased to help"
Miroku kneeled down and scooped the girl up in his arms bridal style, and started to march forward, looking more at Sango then which way he was going.
Kagome started to follow, but was pulled back, by an arm on her right wrist
"ittai! I cut myself if you didn't realize. You put me endanger, cause me to get injured, with out an apology, and now your grabbing me? What gives? Who are you anyways?"
That final question had been going through her mind since yesterday after school. And now she was going to get an answer. Even through her anger, she was excited
He let go of her wrist, and backed up a step
"You don't...don't' know?" he looked down and closed his eyes. He willed his demonic aura, which he conceals anytime he's in public, to flair up
Kagome could see the red glow starting to from around the boy. Somehow it spoke to her. A word formed in her mind. It was funny.-- inu... what? Dog? Yasha. What's that? --
"Inuyasha..."
She had to say it, and as soon as she did his aura disappeared.
"You were in my dream last night. Not miroku.i mean he was there...but it was you"
"Yes. Miroku thinks it's better u didn't know, though, but yes."
Kagome looked down. Her bangs hid her features. Her feelings that were running though her head, and appearing in her eyes.
"WHAT"S YOUR PROBLEM?!WHAT DID I DO TO YOU? YOU HAUNT MY DREAMS, TRY TO KILL ME! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Kagomefs throat then seemed to close up with anger and sadness.
They watched as the girl in Miroku's arms started kicking and screaming. Yelling, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? AND WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TOUCHING MY ASS? HOW THE HELL DID I GET HERE! LEMME GO... KAGOME!"
Kagome turned to look at the 2 behind her, and then back at Inuyasha. She gave him a "humphh then stalked away. Leaving a mad Inuyasha behind her, looking at her back.
His feelings were on a high. He didn't know what he was feeling. Angry, confused, sadness...sadness? -- Dang wench! --
Inuyasha just stood there watching in amazement. He allowed this girl to yell at him, and get angry. He allowed her to make him feel this way. Whatever this way is.
The girl walking away from him was certainly an interesting one. Miroku was right. She was the one.
**Inside the school**
Miroku, had set the girl down as soon as they reached the doors. He couldn't open them properly, and she had found a way to escape his arms.
She ran toward her friend, who had seemed to slowly cool down and fall into a stupor.
The three walked to the locker. Sango had questioned the 2 mercilessly. Miroku had finally consented to tell her, a few things, which he knew he couldn't get away from telling her. She had seen what Inuyasha had done, and she had seen the book. She had to know. Well at least the basics for know.
Kagome had walked with them. Hearing what they were saying, but not listening. She was lost in her thought. Mostly involving the strange circumstances, but always drifting back to Inuyasha.
--How do I know that's his name? It's not like he told me himself. It's gotta be the power. Like what the book said. These feelings. Why should I trust them? Inuyasha obviously does. And Miroku acts like it's no big deal. ... I shouldn't have yelled at Inuyasha. , No wait! Yes I should have! But he looked hurt. What am I saying no he didn't!--
"Earth to Kagome! Are we going home or not?"
Kagome looked up to find that they had stopped walking, and they were at the girlfs locker.
"Erm, are u ok to stay? Or do u want to leave?" Kagome managed, in a very small voice.
"I' really shaky. I wouldn't mind leaving"
Miroku looked at the two "how would you lovely girls be getting home?" he his head tilted to the one side.
"Walking I guess." Sango said, while opening her locker.
"I'm sure Inuyasha wouldn't mind giving all of us a ride. I wish to leave school as well"
"He looked like he was walking away. I doubt he's still here,h said Kagome, looking down. She could feel her eyes want to glaze over from thinking.
"No, hefs still here. I know Kagome he showed you his aura."
"HE SHOWED U HIS WHAT?" Sango screeched. Not really listening to what they were saying until Miroku started talking.
"His aura, sans. A-U-R-A! AURA! Ya know, the thing u see when u have a really bad headache"
"Oh" Sango said, acting like nothing happened.
Kagome heaved a huge sigh, rolled her eyes back, and continued her discussion with Miroku who was watching Sango, with keen interest.
"aneeeeways... what does his aura have to do with anything?"
Miroku answered her without taking his eyes off of Sango "close your eyes and concentrate on that feeling. His feeling, his aura. And you'll be able to find him. I know he's still here, cuz of that, but lets see if u can find him... so Sango is it? That's a beautiful name. Appropriately suited for a beautiful girl, such as yourself"
Sango blushed, but kept it hidden with her hair covering her face. "Lay off freak" she said with as much composure she could muster.
Kagome shook her head, and thought about what was said. "Um, Miroku? How do I concentrate, on it?"
Mirkou at that time looked at Kagome like she was speaking a different language. "Close your eyes. Picture him. Picture the world around you going away. Its' all black, except for him. Ignore sounds. Think of his voice. And when you have that, picture his aura. And how it felt. And you'll find him"
Kagome gave him a raised eyebrow "it can't be that..."
"Just do it" Miroku said in a defeated tone
"Fine fine" --it can't be this easy-- Kagome thought to herself. Trying to get the final word. Then she heard a chuckle
--It is--
Her eyes shot open and she looked at him. His eyes were wide, in expectation.
"Fine!" Kagome closed her eyes and moved her head slightly forward, so her hair covered her face. She didn't want anybody walking by thinking she was praying or sleeping standing up.
She breathed deep, and concentrated hard. She could easily pick out his features, since she had just seen him. She remembered his cologne. And the world falling away from sight wasn't hard either, since she wished that daily.
She then started to concentrate on his aura. It was warm. She felt safe near it. She then started to see it around him. And the picture she had in her mind started to morph. he was sitting in his car. It was in the school parking lot. It was a red Honda civic. He was sitting there. His hands on the wheel, staring off into space. He had a worried look on his face, and he opened the door. She could see him, with his aura, small as it was, start to walk toward the school. Stop, turn back, and then turn around again toward the school. He opened the door, and walked in.
She followed him towards the stairs, and up them. She could feel his aura getting stronger, and he finally stopped. He was looking down at something. She couldn't really make out what it was though.
"Ahem!"
Kagome nearly jumped out of her skin.
Kagome looked at him. He was staring at her. In her vision, he was staring at her.
"Congratulations Kagome. And he was kidding his aura too. But you followed it, with expert precision."
"How did you...?" Miroku cut in before she finished
"I...eves-dropped, on your vision. Not hard to do with practise. I'm actually surprised at how well u did that. Tell me, have u had abilities like this before?"
Kagome was startled by the question. She hadn't thought about it... maybe that means, this has been around for a while. If so, what she saw of Houjo a year ago, could have been a vision...
She blinked out of her daze when she heard Inuyasha clear his throat again, trying to get attention from the dark-haired girl.
"er, may I help u?" Kagome said. Trying to act more fearless then she really was
Inuyasha knew though. He was the only one standing there that knew. He could smell the fear coming from her. He didn't smile though. He let her live here little dream of courageousness.
"I wanted to know if you and your friend..."
"Her name is Sango" Miroku piped up
Inuyasha sighed but didn't take his eyes away from Kagome "yeah,... if you and, Sango, wanted a ride back. I mean your both pretty banged up."
Miroku shocked on pure air, at the invitation. Inuyasha had never done anything nice like that. He made a mental note to talk to Inuyasha about that later. He didn't want Inuyasha to change his mind if he asked.
"um... yeah. I was actually gonna ask anyhow. Since you were the one that caused this,h she said again trying to act like the bitch she was known to be. Which Inuyasha picked up on.
--Fine, if u wanna be a bitch, you'll be treated like a bitch-- "ya know, since you obviously sound fine, I'll just give Miroku and Sange..."
"Sang-o." Miroku corrected
*Sigh* -- I know u can hear me Miroku... shut up-- Inuyasha scolded
"sanGO, the ride. You, bitch can walk!"
Kagome wasn't used to being sworn at after she told somebody off. Most people would back down. Most people were scared of Goths. Most people were scared of her. Even other Goths. This was the first Goth, let alone any person, that called her on anything!
"What?! Firstly u make me and Sango hurt ourselves, then you call me a bitch, and now your refusing a ride?"
At that time Sango stepped forward to intervene, but Miroku grabbed her arm. "No no, my dear. Let them work this out by themselves"
She nodded. She was so overwhelmed by everything.
"You heard me, bitch. You're staying"
By this time Kagome had had enough.
"Fine. Do whatever the hell you please,h she said in an unearthly-low voice. With that, she brushed his shoulder while passing him, while forgetting her books she needed in the locker, and walked away.
"Good riddance. Let go" Inuyasha said, and walked away leaving a confused Sango, and a worried Miroku
--This is not a good start, for this-- Miroku though to himself, while taking Sango's arm and leading her away. Not saying a word.
**Outside the school**
--Damn, stupid, beyatch! Thinks she can tell me what to do. Tell me to give her a ride. What an absolute bitch!-- Inuyasha though as rubbing his eyes, and walking toward his car.
The bell for the next period had just rung, and droves of people were walking toward the door, which he was coming out of.
Inuyasha pushed his way through some. The others parted, not wanting to touch him. As soon as he stepped out side the door, he smelt her.
He stood, and just took the scent in. inside, he was too angry to smell her. Now, nobody he cared about was around to watch him do this. He smelt her.
But he could also smell something salty thrown into the mix that was her. Tears
This revelation came upon him. --Is she crying because of anything I did?-- his heart sunk. For the first time since...her. His heart sunk.
"What are you just standing around for?" Sango questioned him. Concern and fear etched into her voice.
"Is...Kagome...I mean does she cry a lot?"
Sango at first didn't understand the question, but answered thoughtfully
"...no. Not that I know of, why?"
Inuyasha walked forward to his car. "Oh, nothing really. Just that she is now"
"What? How would u know?"
"Never mind" he barked.
With a beep the door was open. And Inuyasha heaved a sigh. "The car is open. I’ll be right back"
Finding Kagome wasn't difficult for him. Like she could find him through aura, he could find her though scent. And her tears just put the red flag, on the already obvious trail.
As soon as she saw him, it was too late to run. He was already behind her. She wasn't paying attention. He had seen what nobody else had seen. She wouldn't have allowed it, ever. He saw her cry.
As she wiped away one final tear, and sniffed, wiping any tears, along with her nose, on her sleeve, she turned around.
Her makeup was streaming down her face. If he hadn't known it was a cause of crying, he wouldn't have chucked it off as a common fashion. Kinda like what the band 'Good Charlotte's' make up looked like.
"May I help you? Or have you found another way to ruin an already crappy day."
He winced. He wasn't expecting any harsh tomes coming from a girl that was just crying. But she was pissed.
"I decided, that Sango might need you with her. Plus she should be left in the back of the car with Miroku. He has no morals."
With that he turned around, and as he was walking away, he mumbled a very quite "oh, and Ifm sorry"
Kagome was dumfounded.
"Hey wait!"
"What?"
"What did u say?"
"Nothing!"
"Fine, well, thank you for apologizing."
A very weak "feh" came from Inuyasha
Kagome, started to walk toward his car. Then stopping raising a finger to her temple and said "oh, one more thing. You saw nothing right now. Got it, pretty boy?"
She turned and for the second time walked toward the red sports car, leaving this time a very dumbfounded Inuyasha.

Second disclaimer: jeesh- okies. I do not own as well... CBGB (even though that is something I REALLY wish I did.) instant messenger of any sort, neurotically yours (from chapter 2) or anything else that I might have forgotten about, that is a brand name (I'll update if I found I missed one, though I fairly sure I didn't)
