Chapter two - Target found

Kagome saw a man run to her she blinked and found herself on the floor the bullet hitting the bar wall. Everyone began to run outside dividing Ayame and her. The man who saved her pulled her up and walked in a different direction from her friends. She pulled her hand from him.

"What are you doing beautiful?" he asked as if unfazed.

"Where are we going?"

"Theirs is another exit this way." she let him grab her hand and followed him. There were soon outside in a parking lot. She saw a comatose Sango being picked up into a car. Kagome ran to her and the man holding her.

"What the hell did you do?"

"Don't blame me the crowd knocked her down she hit her head…….. hard." He put her into the car. She saw the man who saved her get into the car as well. Ayame soon came up to Kagome.

"Friends of her's huh? Get in." the man with amethyst eyes said. The girls nodded and jumped in.

They arrived at a large house. The guys led them in and sat Sango on a sofa. Kagome asked to use the bathroom which the man Kouga who saved her life showed her to. She washed her hands and walked out the bathroom only to have a gun in her face.

"Who the hell are you?"

"Feh!" was all he said. But kagome could care less, his eyes were amber he had silver hair. Kagome smiled she found her target.

"Get the gun out of my face." she said slowly at him. She has never been at the receiving end of a gun, a bullet yes not the actual gun.

"Or what? You're in my house so you're under my rules maybe we can have some excitement." he smirked but she knew he was just pushing her. She quickly kicked the gun away and went into her bag to reach her own. He threw her bag far from her. She dashed to get it as he did to get his own gun. She turned around to point the gun in his face. He had done the same thing.

"How the hell?! Who do you work for?" he asked.

"I work for no one; I can occupy a gun without working for someone." She smirked at him, happy to throw him off.

"Are you lying woman?" He asked.

"You have a shot at my heart I your head does it look like I need to lie at this point?" she rolled her eyes.

"Miko bitch." he said as he lowered his gun.

"Hanyou." she put her gun away and walked off. Inuyasha followed her into the living room. Sango came to and the lecher had a handprint on his face. Kagome rushed to her friend and hugged her.

"You get knocked over by a crowd I thought I never see the day." she laughed.

"Neither did I think I see you two seconds from death." Kagome searched Sango eyes to find she was really worried.

"By the way thank you Kouga." Kagome said turning her head.

"It's okay beautiful" he said as Inuyasha snorted.

"My name is Kagome thanks again."

"Girls we have to leave now." Ayame said.

"Yeah we know, did you bring the car?" Sango asked.

"Shit." Ayame laughed.

"Well how far we from the club?" Kagome asked.

"About a good five miles." Inuyasha answered. The front door slammed and a woman with black hair and garnet eyes walked in.

"Guys I made a small break through" the woman shouted as she threw her coat on a chair and walked into the room.

"You should have……." she got a look at the other three women in the room, two embracing. "Been there?" she trailed off. Inuyasha brought is gaze back from Kagome and looked at Kagura.

"Hey Kagura these are some woman from the club they got banged up a little I'm sure you heard already about two rival gangs shooting there."

"Yeah it's on the news." She rubbed her temples

"Let's go girls." Sango said.

"But we can drive you my fair Sango" Miroku the lecher smiled.

"No thanks we'll walk" Sango narrowed her eyes. Not wanting the lecher to know where she lived.

"It's dark though." he protested with a light pout.

"Believe me they can handle themselves." Inuyasha said. The girls walked out .Once they were a good couple of blocks away they called Sesshomaru to send a car. Later the girls sat in the bathroom's large hot tub.

"Well I found my target." Ayame smiled.

"Me to." Kagome raised her glass of champagne.

"Me three." Sango joined there glasses.

"Now the hard part making the fall in love with us." Ayame laughed.

"It's a good thing the whole shoot out and pretend to knock my head thing went well. Now we know where they live" Sango smiled.

"Yeah but I'm so going to kill Sesshomaru's man that couldn't shoot for shit what part of over my head didn't he get? That bullet would have hit me square in the chest!" kagome steamed. They all laughed forgetting the danger of the situation. For these secret agents type murders they seemed pretty laid back.

Kagome was walking home trying to juggle her four bags of food. She hit into someone who luckily caught her before she fell.

"You should watch were you're going your lucky I caught you." he said annoyed.

"Let's not forget who hit into who!" she yelled.

"Yeah you hit into me!"

"Sure……you CAN let go now you know." his arms were still around her waist.

"I have no time to deal with people like you." he said looking around.

"Who do you think you are, people like me I bet your no better." she picked up her bags. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered.

"I Think you know who I am." his voice became undeniably sexy he handed her a bag she had dropped and ran a claw down her arm. Something clicked in the back of her mind. And it hit her. She looked up quickly surprising that she didn't break her neck. Inuyasha stood holding two of her bags. She tried to take them from him but he pulled away.

"Fine but you're bringing them to my house." she said.

"Trying to get me into your bed already." she blushed, she was supposed to be the one seducing here not the other way around!

"As if you could lever this." she teased he seemed caught of guard by that but recovered and smiled he was about to make a remark when her phone rang. She looked at the ID and saw it was Ayame.

"Yeah?" she answered.

"Can I use your credit card?"

"Why not use yours?"

"Fluffy took mine about an hour ago when I was shopping said I cost him a fortune."

"Fine but don't go crazy"

"Thank you I love you so much" she laughed.

"Alright bye" she hung up. Kagome turned to Inuyasha who was kicking a rock.

"Well what are you waiting for lets go." she said while continuing to walk. He smirked at her. Kagome walked up the steps to her house; she turned the key and put in the safety code. The house was amazingly clean and coated in a light pink rug that was almost white. The house was a glass theme, but beside the obvious luxury the house was extremely feminine there were white roses on every side table. And judging by the ice blue marble floor in the open kitchen the interior alone cost millions.

"How could you afford this place?" Kagome couldn't say because they were assassins and their boss spent millions on them just so they could live safely and he was nothing short of luxurious. So she said what she told everyone.

"Sango is a doctor, I'm a finance manger, and Ayame owns a few antique galleries." she wasn't really lying. Sango had a degree to be a doctor. Ayame did in fact own a few galleries and Kagome is the most paid finance manger at the corporation.

"No wonder." he said slowly. He put the bags down.

"I'm making dinner tonight do you want to stay?" she asked as she began to take out pots and pans. Inuyasha blushed she wanted him to stay for dinner. Of course her friends would be here but…. He stopped thinking when he noticed she was still waiting for an answer.

"Actually today is my night to make Kagura and the guy's dinner." he sighed.

"And what can you cook?"

"Ramen." he grumbled.

"That's not dinner."

"You have a better idea cause that's more than any one else in that house can make!" he yelled.

"Then why don't you all come here to eat I'm sure the girls won't mind." she rolled her eyes. Kouga came in holding more then seven shopping bags while Ayame held one.

"Thanks Kouga they where getting heavy."

"Why do you need all this woman." he grunted.

"Its imperative." she smiled. They turned around to see the other couple at the kitchen counter staring at them. Ayame turned to Kagome whose blue eyes were narrowed.

"Aya how much did you spend?" she asked.

"Only a few thousands."

"WHAT?!" the three other people yelled at her. Ayame's jade eyes widen.

"What you spend thousands on roses and jewelry." both men looked at Kagome.

"What?! You should see Sango she spends millions on cars and shoes."

"I do not!" Sango yelled as she descended the stairs which made everyone jump at the sound of her voice clearly not expecting she was home. She pointed to Kagome and Ayame.

"I only have five cars and forty pairs of boots and shoes."

"Each?" the guys asked and Sango blinked.

"Of course each" the men slowly turned to one another and sighed. Women are so complex, they both thought. Let just hope dinner went okay.
