Lol well, I also thought I would give a heads up that its gonna be different than the series. Instead of the centipede demon and only meeting InuYasha, she will meet Shippo, InuYasha, Sango, Miroku, Kirara! Well hope you like chapter one!!!!!

Chapter one: When will I see you again?

It was about 5:00 or so, and the sun was casting beautiful shades of red, pink, orange, yellow, and purple across the sky. They were sitting in their favorite spot, overlooking 'their' lake…

" isn't it beautiful, Fluffers?" asked the little girl, leaning on her best friend's shoulder.

" yea, it is.." he replied, looking at his mysterious friend before placing his eyes on the setting sun.

" isn't it weird..you know…how this whole thing happened?" asked the little girl, named KayKay.

" What thing?"

" well, I mean, I'm not from here, I'm not even supposed to be here, yet this seems so…..right.." she whispered in reply.

" yea, I know what you mean.." Fluffers said more to himself than to the girl.

" Um, Kaykay, when will I see you again? I mean, I don't even know where you live…and you mentioned that you don't know how much longer you'll be able to see me."

Kaykay looked up with a saddened expression. She knew that he didn't know that she was from the future, he thought she lived very far away, but she didn't know how much longer the well would work. She didn't even know why it worked, just knew that she should take advantage of it while she could, and that there's a reason for everything. For all she knew this could be the last time she would ever see her beloved friend, her only friend. Her mom wouldn't believe her at first, but then saw with her own eyes. Her mom told her that she couldn't keep going to the past because she would need to keep up with her school work, and that she didn't know when the well would stop working. Her mom was scared that she would get stuck in the past. With a sigh, the girl kissed the now blushing little boy and whispered

" I gotta go home, its getting late. "

But about ten feet away, she turned around, and whispered

"Fluffers, promise me you will never forget me.."

" I promise."

" Kagome! Hurry up! I want to get home, its Friday!!!" yelled Eri.

" I'm coming! I'm coming! Just hold on.." she replied, shutting her locker. She tried to run to her friends to hurry up, but then an unexpected 'speed bump' got in her way.

" ahh! Oh, I'm sorry! I'll try to watch where I go next time.." she said, reaching for all the books she dropped.

" its okay, let me help you." Came a familiar voice.

" kagome! Omg! Its Hojo!" whispered one of her friends into her ear, and sure enough, when she looked up a red faced Hojo was standing about a foot in front of her.

" uh, hey Hojo! Um..didn't see ya there! " Kagome said trying to find a way to hurry and get back to her house. She had a test that Monday and really needed to study.

" hey Kagome! Are you doing anything this weekend? " Hojo asked, getting a little redder than he already was.

" uh, actually.." she replied when a loud giggle could be heard and her friends dragged her about 10 feet away and whispered:

" Kagome! Don't be stupid! You can go to the mall with us anytime! He's gonna ask you out on a date! GO WITH HIM! HE'S THE HOTTEST GUY AT THIS SCHOOL!!! "

" but guys, I like someone else.." she whispered

Even though I haven't seen him in eight years, I promised not to forget about him.

Yea, sure, she didn't remember EVERYTHING about him, but she could never forget his beautiful golden eyes and his knee length silver hair. The well shut itself off from him the day he promised never to forget her. She cried for almost a week, and still a tear or two would slip when she walked past the wellhouse. She never knew why it shut itself off. Her mother said it was old, and that there's a reason for everything, but she couldn't forget him….she made a promise…

" SO! Forget about him for just one day and we promise you won't regret it! "

After realizing that no matter how much she tried, she wasn't gonna be able to change their minds, she gave in to their pleas..

" Fine.." she whispered, and all her friends hugged her for finally doing what they have been begging her to do for weeks.

" Okay, I'm back :: she gave an evil glare at her friends at the corner of her eye::, uh, what did you want? "

Even though I already know..

" Uh, I was wondering if you…um…would like to go to the movies with me this Saturday?" he was now hardly hiding his blush, but very anxious for the answer.

Kagome glared at her friends one last time before answering " Sure Hojo, I'll be delighted."

?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!?!?!

After saying bye to all of her very happy friends, she decided to take a shower, and totally forgot about studying.

I wonder if I'm doing the right thing. I mean, its not like I would ever see Fluffers again, but I feel like I'm betraying him, betraying our friendship…

She began to remember how they first met. How she accidentally fell into the well when she was leaning over the edge and looking down. She remembered how she was almost eight and could barely get out of the well, and how Fluffers was nice helped her clean herself up. ( I know that's being a lot OOC but its my story and I'm writing it the way I want to! Lol ) he was very nice to her, and remembered how they became the best of friends. He vowed never to hurt her, and to never forget her..

Don't think I have forgotten you Fluffers..

And with that last thought, a silent tear escaped her over watery eyes.

That night, she couldn't stop thinking of him. She would wake up every now and then, but cry herself right back to sleep.

Her dream:

" Its ok Kaykay, I promise to be your friend if you'll be mine. "

Kaykay looked at his outstretched hand and shook it. " Ok."

::scene fades, kinda like its showing her memories of him::

" hide Kaykay! Don't worry! I'll always protect you! "

" Okay " she whispered, running to her and his favorite spot to escape the wolf youkai that was battling Fluffers. She had to admit, he was pretty good at a very young age. She hid in a bush and cried until her friend came back, blood dripping from his claws, but holding Kaykay til her crying subdued and whispering " I'm here. Don't worry. I'll always protect you. You're my friend."

" thanks. I never really had a friend.." she whispered back.

::scene fades::

the sun was setting, and she was trying to hold in her tears. With a sigh, she kissed the now blushing Fluffers and whispered

" I gotta go home, its getting late. "

But about ten feet away, she turned around, and whispered

"Fluffers, promise me you will never forget me.."

" I promise."

::end dream::

by now, she was crying in her sleep, now not actually dreaming, but sleeping peacefully, yet still crying, but not really dreaming of anything, but nothing.

She didn't feel her self get up, or even leave her room, but now she started sleepwalking down the stairs, as if something was leading her somewhere.

" what's that?" Kagome's mom whispered to herself.

" I guess I should go check it out, maybe Kagome dreamed of her little friend again and needs someone to talk to.." she said to herself before walking out of her room and heading downstairs.

Kagome started to shiver in her sleep, unaware that she was actually outside and heading to the wellhouse.

Omg! Kagome's heading to the wellhouse!

" Kagome!!" Kagome's mom yelled, but unfortunately that wasn't enough. Then it hit her: Kagome is going back to Fluffers, she'll actually be able to see him again…that is, if the well works….

Kagome's mom decided that she would follow Kagome to the wellhouse, and if it didn't work she could explain what happened to her confused daughter. But if it did, she would see her off.

Kagome was about five feet from the well now, still unaware of what was going on and still in a deep slumber. Kagome's mother was on the other side of the well, to make sure she wouldn't be in her way and to see if the well would work this time.

Kagome was about a foot away from it now, it was almost like fate brought her here, brought her here to see how things had changed. She started to climb on the rim and tried to balance herself on the top. With both her mom and herself taking a deep breath, she jumped and allowed the blue magic to swallow her whole…

" good luck, Kagome.." her mom whispered as a single tear fell, realizing her little girl would see her dreams come true…

okay guys that was chapter one! I know its kinda rushed but I just got back from Lake Charles ( louisiana ) and I promised I would update so I did! Sorry about the rushedness (<~ hehe ) though. Well hope you like!!!!!
