Chapter Thirteen: Surviving Pregnancy..

As we left off with the story, Inuyasha and Miroku were heading back towards Kagome's village, since the bakas both realized they couldn't bare to be away from their loved ones for even a day. Kagome and Sango had the same idea and so they headed out as well to the Demon's village, when they arrived there Sesshomaru made them comfortable, as they were told they were both to far along to ride the horses back to Kagome's village. Both girls were very upset upon learning that three day's ride they had endured was for nothing, how did they miss the two, they would have had to ride right by each other. Kagome was pouting and her hanyou ears were drooping, she really missed Inuyasha, and since he hadn't come back she was sleeping a lot and spending most of her time in her room, where Sango who was also laying around moping, they wanted their men. Sesshomaru and Bankotsu tried to make the girls feel at home, but they were shut out as the two pregnant women were not in the mood.

Inuyasha and Miroku arrived into the girl's village only to find out from a local villager that the two had set off on horses not even a day or two ago, the men were tired from their travels, so they decided to stay at the village, not receiving the most welcome reception after their last visit, they had a hard time finding a place to stay, since Kagome wasn't their they were barred from entering the castle. Inuyasha had lost his temper and picked up an innkeeper by his shirt, his eyes were starting to change to a red color, Miroku however thrust a huge sack with gold coins into the mans hands, and he smiled after Inu set him down and ushered the two demon's into the inn and there they were given one room, as they were told that the inn was full and this was all they had left, so instead of Inuyasha spending the night with his Kagome he had to share a room with the perverted ex-monk Miroku.

Miroku however was just about as thrilled as Inuyasha about the particular arrangement. Both men went downstairs to have a couple of pints of beer, since they couldn't have their women than they were going to both get stone ass drunk they decided.

Miroku was on his tenth beer and he was starting to feel woozy, he also felt that familiar sensation of bile rise up in his throat, forcing down the sensation he continued to chug his beer only to end up later throwing up all over the floor of the inns bar. Inuyasha who could handle his alcohol had over twenty beers and he only felt hornier, he wish his mate was around, he felt his pants stiffen just at the thought of being between her legs, pumping in and out of her while she was on all fours, biting her and suckling on his mark he had given her. He was lost in fantasy world when two women just happen to approach the demon's, they worked at the bar, a red headed girl who had her breasts practically falling out of her top, sat down in Miroku's lap the drunken idiot thought she was Sango and he began to grab her breasts and was kissing her.

Her companion went over To the hanyou and tried the same thing, but ended up being dumped on the floor as the hanyou growled out Kagome and must find mate, then got up and walked away going into the room he ended up passed out on the bed, drool was coming out of his mouth. Miroku took the woman he thought was Sango up to his room and one thing lead to another and they ended up with their clothes off and she was on top of him straddling him, he reached out for the women's breasts, and also put a hand on her rear, noticing that Sango's rear end usually felt a little more rounded than this one and he opened his drunken eyes and found a red head on top of him, he immediately threw her off, he started yelling Sango Sango no no I am sorry, I must find Sango, the drunk took off down the hallway naked as the day he was born. The red head was more than miffed at being thrown off before she got hers, so she angrily pulled her dress back on and went downstairs to find some other entertainment for the night. People were screaming as a naked very drunk Miroku was yelling all over the inn Sango's name, he was hit with a woman's shoes which knocked him out and he felt himself being carried away. The innkeeper shook his head as he carried the naked demon back upstairs to his room and deposited him on the bed, where Miroku mumbling Sango's name in his sleep.

With the girl's they were both becoming increasingly worried that the babes would be born before their fathers got there, this had them both in a panic. Sesshomaru sent for the village demon midwife who was trying to keep the two women calm, she saw that Kagome's pregnancy was moving along well, Sango however kept complaining of pain, and she had a gush of blood between her legs, the midwife told her that if they didn't deliver the babe now she would lose it. So Sango was heard screaming throughout the entire castle as she tried to push out her baby, his head was wrapped around the umbilical cord and they had to be careful not to strangle the little boy as he was delivered, the baby wasn't crying and this worried Sango a lot as she passed out from blood loss, a cry could be heard, the baby was fine and had a healthy cry, but the mother was unconscious from to much blood loss. Kagome was in another room in the castle, she was terrified of birthing her baby especially after the horrific cries her friend had made. She was wishing now more than ever that the men would make it back in time. Sango was being stiched up by the midwife, she had warm cloths on her forehead when she awoke, she felt the pain of the needle going through her skin and the midwife gave her something to put in her mouth and bite down on. Sango felt like she was going to pass out from the pain, she couldn't take much more, finally the evil woman stopped sticking her with the damned needle and she demanded to see her baby. A fussy baby boy with dark black hair was brought to her breast to be fed, he immediately quieted as he suckled hungrily.

Kagome was relieved to hear that Sango was doing okay, and she was happy that the baby was okay, she hoped the her mate would be here in time for her delivery. Kagome felt her water break just as the two men made their ways into the castle. Both men were tired and glad to be back home, the last thing Inuyasha heard was Kagome's screaming the baby's coming as he ran towards her down the hallway. Miroku heard about what happened to Sango and he eagerly rushed to her and the baby's side, he never felt happier as he did when he arrived into the room to find the baby asleep in her arms. She smiled up at him happily, and told him they had a boy and his name was Tsubaki.

When Inuyasha had arrived at Kagome's door he was immediately pushed out, the midwife clucking about this being no place for a man, this was woman's work, so for the next five hours, Inuyasha stood outside the door listening to Kagome's yells of pain and finally when he couldn't stand her being in pain anymore, he broke down the door to find a baby being swaddled in a blanket, Kagome was covered in sweat, but she was okay. “Inuyasha we have a baby girl, I think I will name her Kaname.” Inuyasha couldn't have been more proud at that moment, as he held his baby girl in his arms. She was a tiny version of Kagome with black hair and silver streaks with two tiny dog ears perched on top of her head, he instantly fell in love with this little bundle.

They decided when the women were well enough that all four of them would get married at the same time, have a double wedding, that would be a couple weeks away.
