Kagome's eyes bulged. She had been caught. `Crap' Kagome swore inwardly as she turned and ran as fast as she could away from the two…whatever they were.

The silver haired man gave the other man a glance and walked slowly towards him. The young man understood and gave a curt nod, then headed right after kagome into the woods.

"This should be interesting." The silver haired man sighed as he waited patiently for the other to return.

Kagome ran, she ran as fast as her legs would take her, not pausing to look back. Her bare feet pounded on the soft earth beneath her. Her breath became labored and her vision blurry, but Kagome refused to stop. She needed to get away from them, from this world. This place was just freaking her out, nothing was normal here, nothing was the way it was supposed to be. Kagome ran blindly, her hands stretched out in front of her to stop herself from running into anything. Rocks and sharps twigs bit at her feet but still she refused to stop. Her heart pounded in her chest as she ran around a tree sneaking a glance behind her to look for her pursuer. That's when she ran into something solid. Kagome reeled backwards and landed hard on the ground. She swallowed loudly. In front of her were a pair of tan muscular legs. Kagome slowly looked up; strong arms were slung across a well armored chest. A cold shiver of fear trailed up her spine as she met brown eyes. Kagome nearly screamed when she saw that she had ran into the man who had been in the clearing. A smirk played across his lips, showing a pearly white fang. His brown eyes glittered with humor and interest.

"Look what we have here…" he all but snarled at her. Kagome frowned as she crawled slowly backwards. She did NOT like the way he was looking at her. He stared at her like she was a piece of meat up for inspection and she was not going to tolerate it. She got to her feet and stood defiantly across from him. Her scowl deepened as his eyes roved up and down her body, sizing her up.

Kagome had had enough and opened her mouth to let the little pervert have it when he disappeared in a gust of wind. `Where the hell did he go?!' Kagome thought, her head snapped around, scanning the area for him.

"How could he just disappear?" Kagome whispered, her eyes searching frantically around the small area.

"Looking for me?" a deep voice whispered from behind her. His hot breath tickled her neck. Before Kagome could even turn around he had a hand clamped over her mouth, and a strong arm held her around the waist, picking her feet up off the ground. Kagome screamed, but it was muffled by the hand across her mouth. A deep chuckle came from behind her, he pulled Kagome closer to himself, so they were chest to back.

Before Kagome could even blink she was being pulled of in a whirlwind of speed. Her mind reeled as all the colors flashed before her eyes. The forest, the trees the sounds all became a blur before her. Kagome clenched her eyes shut to stop the intense headache she was getting. `This can't be real.' Kagome pleaded with herself. Kagome squirmed in the man's grasp, trying to free herself, but his grip around her waist only grew tighter.

"Good,I like them feisty" the man chuckled in her ear. Kagome scowled and tried with all her might to free herself, even though she knew it was pointless. This freak was probably going to murder her in cold blood and that was the best case scenario.

Kagome opened her eyes as the sudden movement stopped and they skidded to a halt back inside the clearing where the silver haired man stood waiting. Kagome shivered at the coldness in his intense golden eyes. The man carrying her dropped her unceremoniously on the ground. Kagome hit the ground with a thump. Her head was still reeling and she felt dizzy. She slowly crawled backwards untill she came in contact with a tree, her eyes never leaving the intense golden ones.

Kagome opened her mouth to say something. `What are you?' but the words froze in her throat as the golden eyed man stepped slowly, deliberately, toward her. Her breath quickened in her chest as he stopped not even five feet away from her. His golden eyes boring into her brown ones.

"Why were you spying on us human?" The man asked her coolly, his golden eyes showing no emotion.

"I-I… I " Kagome stuttered. Never before had she been so scared in her life. Her fear was slowly mounting as impatience grew on the face of the man who carried her here.

"Aw! Who cares what the goddamn wench has to say, stupid foreigners and their stupid ideas. I say we have a little fun with her!" The brown eyed man growled. His patience wearing thin. His eyes glittered dangerously at Kagome.

Kagome had had enough. No one talked to her like that and got away with it.

"You little jerk! You should be shot!" Kagome yelled at him in English as she rose to her feet. Her cheeks were flushed from the anger that grew in her. Her black hair was wild and her eyes glittered maliciously at the brown eyed man.

The brown eyed man reeled backwards as if he had been slapped. A look of utter shock crossed his face. But he wasn't the only one who was shocked. The silver haired man's golden eyes, widened and shock filled the depths of those golden orbs. But the look just as quickly vanished to be replaced by the same bored expression.

Kagome didn't care, none of this registered as she crossed her arms stubbornly across her chest. `The nerve of that man!' She growled to herself. Her brown eyes still smoldering with rage.

"What did you say to him?" The golden eyes looked at her from under long lashes. They studied her intently, as if she were some new source of entertainment.

Kagome's scowl deepened as she turned on the silver haired man. "I told him he should be shot, and he should the little pervert!" Kagome huffed. As raised her head in defiance.

"You should watch your tongue in front of the demon lord of the South; I doubt he will tolerate much more of your insolence." The golden eyed man said coolly as he glanced at the shocked man to his left.

Kagome almost broke down laughing, "There are no such things as Demons." She said through laughter, unconsciously letting her guard down. A growl erupted from the golden eyed man's throat and before Kagome could blink she was dangling in the air.

The silver haired Demon held her up by her throat, his long claws piercing the skin around her neck, so blood slowly trickled down it. Kagome latched onto his hand that held her by the throat, futilely trying to pull him off of her. She was finding it hard to breathe and spots danced before her eyes. Her feet swung in the air in an attempt to kick her attacker, but none of the blows came close.

"Stupid girl, do I look like a human to you?" he growled daring her to defy him. Kagome shook her head dumbly, as she pried at the hand that held her neck.

"I am a DEMON, and the demon lord of the West! You will respect me!" He growled threateningly, his cold eyes boring into her brown ones. He gave her a shake before tossing her like a rag doll over his shoulder and onto the ground behind him.

Kagome landed on the ground with a painful thud. Her dress had ridden up to reveal more leg and she clutched her side as she trembled on the ground. `This can't be happening, none of this is real' She told herself over and over again. She shut her eyes tight hoping to block out the rest of the world, the world she didn't even belong in.

"Get up." The cold voice snarled. Kagome refused to move and closed her eyes tighter, maybe if she ignored them they would just go away and leave her be. Moments passed and finally a clawed hand grabbed her arm viciously and dragged her to her feet. Kagome's eyes flew wide open and her heart beat rapidly in her chest.

"Let me go!" Kagome shouted, trying to wrench her arm from the Demon's strong grip. The demon let go of her willingly, as if he had touched something rather unpleasant and was more than happy to just let her go.

"It is a rather interesting situation we find ourselves in now isn't it?" The silver haired demon asked coolly, his golden eyes looking at her with interest.

Kagome scowled, she hated being toyed with but she had no desire to be choked again so she took a deep breath and through clenched teeth she said. "And what situation would that be?"

The silver haired demon smirked at her obvious frustration and stood there in complete silence for quite some time soaking up the frustration that was radiating off of her. Kagome took a deep shuddering breath, and turned from one demon to the other.

"Would you like to enlighten me as to what the hell he's talking about." Kagome hissed through clenched teeth. The Demon took a step back then scowled, his brown eyes frowning at her.

"I wouldn't know I don't speak the language." He said dully, his brown eyes scowling at her.

`Sheesh!' Kagome thought. `Demons are soooo touchy!'. She frowned and turned her attention back to the other demon who was watching her with interest. There's nothing for it, I'm just going to have to wait till he decides to tell me.' Kagome sighed inwardly as she waited patiently for the demon to continue.

The silvered haired demon looked Kagome over disdainfully, he scrunched his nose and sighed. "I am Lord Sesshoumaru, Demon lord of the West. He is Kouga, demon lord of the South." Sesshoumaru said coolly, waiting for the girls reaction.

Kagome just stood there, unimpressed by the fancy titles and names, she blinked a couple of times and fought the urge to yawn. Arms still crossed over her chest she looked up at him with eyes unblinking. "And…" she prodded dully. She knew she was teasing him but she didn't care, if she was going to die she wasn't going to just roll over.

Sesshoumaru smirked; the girl had more back bone than he first thought. Which is strange for a human female, he thought dully. He blinked his golden eyes at her.

"An alliance is needed between the West and the South." He said simply, coldly. He wouldn't continue until she asked him.

Kagome waited for him to continue, he didn't. Kagome felt annoyance begin to boil in her veins, but there was no way she was going to provoke him again, she had already pushed her luck as far as it would go, she decided. "So what does this have to do with me?" Kagome asked almost dreading the answer. It was as if she didn't want to know, and truth be told she didn't.

Sesshoumaru looked at her with cold amusement "Neither I nor Kouga can speak each others language; you have just proven yourself our link in creating the alliance between the West and the South." He said with golden emotionless eyes. "Therefore you will be our human servant."

Kagome opened her mouth to say something, and then closed it. What was she supposed to say? Two DEMONS who were going to kill her now wanted her help, no they don't want it, they DEMAND it, Kagome thought angrily. How was anyone supposed to react to this. Plus there' the little fact that she didn't even belong in this strange world…all she wanted to do was go home, back to her family.

"And what if I don't want to help you." She whispered, refusing to meet the demon's eyes. She flinched as Sesshoumaru took a bold step toward her.

"Then you will die." He said matter-of-factly. His golden eyes bore into her head. Kagome took a step backwards. She didn't like being this close to someone who wanted to kill her.

Kagome swallowed loudly but didn't respond, she was still gathering her thoughts, and there was so much to take in…nothing made any sense. This PLACE didn't make sense, she shouldn't even be here! But she would not be a servant. She would NOT cower in fear.

Kagome raised her head defiantly and stared into the gold eyes that looked at her demandingly. "Then kill me because I will never be your slave." She said curtly. Her brown eyes simmered with determination and rage.

Sesshoumaru stood there shocked, no human had ever defied him, who did this strange girl think she was? He had to admit, this human brat was definitely different from other humans of his time. She dressed differently for one and she had courage, courage wasn't common in most humans, especially not in females. And she obviously wasn't stupid.

Sesshoumaru took another step forward so that they were almost touching, he raised his sharp claws in front of her face and noted with grim satisfaction that fear grew in her intense brown eyes. "There are other ways." He said softly as he drew a clawed finger across her cheek.

A thin line of blood formed from where Sesshoumaru had touched her skin. But Kagome's resolve didn't waver, she refused to bring her hand to her cheek to feel the blood that she knew was there. She stood before him unblinking, if she was going to die she was going to die with her pride. `Grandfather would be proud' Kagome thought to herself as she stared up at those merciless golden eyes.

Sesshoumaru sighed inwardly when the girl didn't respond. He knew the fear was there but she was stubborn and proud. He racked his brains for an idea, an alliance between the West and the South was crucial, both sides needed it what with the North and The East becoming allies and declaring war on both the South and the West. They needed to support eachother…

Sesshoumaru smiled dangerously at Kagome. Kagome shivered, `That mouth was not made for smiling' Kagome thought as a wave of fear passed over her. Kagome took an involuntary step backwards as Sesshoumaru beckoned Kouga towards them. Uncertainly the demon approached the two, his eyes suspicious of any plot against him.

Sesshoumaru pointed at himself then Kouga and then at Kagome, then made a sign using his middle and index finger ( kinda like when u cross your fingers cause your about to lie …). Kouga smiled wolfishly and nodded as if he understood everything perfectly.

Kagome, who was officially freaked out, backed up as she saw the two exchange knowing glances. Kagome's eyes widened as they slowly began to walk towards her. Kagome put her hands out in front of her as if surrendering

"H-Hey you guys cant we just talk about this first." She choked out half heartedly. Neither responded to her pleas as they neared her, Kagome continued to back up, nearly tripping over her own feet. She didn't like the dangerous glint in their eyes, or the half smirk that played across Kouga's lips.

Kagome nearly jumped out of her skin when her back pressed against a tree. Before Kagome could get away both demons were upon her. And to Kagome's extreme dislike, they were both smirking. `Not a good sign!' Kagome thought. She raised a fisted hand to lash out at one of the demons but Kouga caught it almost effortlessly. He held her hand in an almost bone crushing grip. Kagome bit her lip from crying out in pain. She swung her other hand in attempt to attack Kouga but it too was caught, …by Sesshoumaru. Kouga and Sesshoumaru brought both her hands above her head and pinned her to the tree. The rough bark rubbed against her skin, causing it to bleed. It didn't help that both her wrists were probably broken from the pressure being applied to them. Kagome let out a strangled gasp as one of Kouga's hands moved to caver her mouth.

"Don't worry; it'll all be over soon." He whispered softly in her ear. Kagome shivered as she looked up at him wide eyed. She began to struggle against the two demons grasp but her movements were stopped when Sesshoumaru pressed his body firmly against hers, trapping half her side. Kagome lashed out with her free leg, trying to fight to the end, but Kouga mimicked Sesshoumaru's actions and soon she had two demons bodies pressed tightly against hers. Kagome gulped when Sesshoumaru nodded at Kouga, both bent towards he neck, Sesshoumaru on her left and Kouga on her right. Their breath tickled her neck for a second, causing Kagome to shiver uncontrollably, she just got a bad vibe off them.

Kagome gasped as two sets of fangs pierced her neck, without any way to defend herself Kagome collapsed under the pressure placed upon her, her knee's gave out and she struggled to keep her eyes open, it was as if all the energy was being drained out of her, like a tunnel being made, going from one end out the other. Kagome was kept in place by the two demons holding her up. She no longer tried to struggle, it was pointless, there was no way she was going to win.

After a couple of minutes both demons pulled away from kagome. And she hit the ground with a thud, she had no energy left to defend herself let alone sit up. Blood stained the lips of Sesshoumaru and Kouga, Kagome's blood. Kouga licked the blood of his lips, savoring the taste while Sesshoumaru wiped the rest off on the back of his hand and stared at it in disgust.

Kagome groaned as Kouga knelt beside her. She felt her mind spin downward as he knelt over her, gentley brushing aside the strands of her silky black hair that covered her neck. Gingerly he brought a hand to her neck and felt the bite mark he had caused.

Kagome winced in pain as he touched the spot where his fangs had penetrated her skin. She could feel her blood dribble down her neck from the open wound. She closed her eyes fearing what would come next. She felt his breath on her neck and winced. `He's going to kill me now.' Was all Kagome could think as she waited to feel his fangs on her skin. Instead she felt the a warm rough tongue lap up the blood that spilt down her neck. She wanted to push him away to tell him NO, but she couldn't, it was as if she was paralyzed.

"You taste so good." He whispered huskily in her ear before scooping her up in his large muscular arms. Kagome's head lolled to the side. She had no power over her own body and it scared her. How was she supposed to protect herself?

Kouga walked over to Sesshoumaru, the semi-conscious girl in his arms. Sesshoumaru smirked and bent down towards Kagome so that their noses almost touched.

"You belong to us now." He whispered, his breath had a coppery smell and Kagome's stomach rolled as she realized it was the smell of her own blood. Kagome tried to look away, it was so hard to move but she managed to tilt her head so that she wasn't looking into Sesshoumaru's cold golden eyes. To Kagome's dismay her head came to rest against the broad well muscled chest of Kouga.

"Stubborn…"Sesshoumaru sighed as he glanced at Kouga who was grinning wolfishly at him (Well the guy IS a wolf demon!).

"Shall we?" Sesshoumaru gestured with his good hand.

Kouga nodded and started off walking ahead of Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru followed him silently.

A silent tear rolled down Kagome's cheek as she was carried away into the night. She closed her eyes unwillingly and fell into a dreamless sleep. Kouga looked down at the sleeping girl in his arms…

"Don't cry…" he whispered into the night.
