Don't Leave Me

She had made up her mind.

She quietly slipped away into the forest. Her feet thudded softly as she made her way to the river. She plunged her hand into the icy water and searched for a sharp rock. "I'm sorry you guys. I will miss you. I love you all. Especially you Inuyasha." She pulled the rock out of the water. "Please forgive me," she whispered, tears sliding down her face. She brought the rock to her wrist and slashed. She switched hands and did it to her other wrist. "Please forgive me. I'm so sorry, I love you all." Darkness overcame her.

Tears mingled with blood caught up to his sensitive nose. His eyes shot open. He scanned the area. Where was she? He jumped down gracefully from his branch and ran to the source of blood. When he got there, his heart seemed to stop. She was there. But she wasn't moving. There was a pool of blood surrounding her fragile body. He ran over to her body and picked her up. His sensitive ears picked up on a soft heartbeat. `There's still time!' he panicked.

He tore off two pieces of cloth from his red jacket and grabbed one of her arms. Very carefully, he splashed it with water and wrapped it up in his jacket bandage. He did the same with the other. He put his ear on her chest. Her heartbeat was slow and steady. `Oh gods! Please let her live!' the hanyou thought. The sight of her small, fragile body, looking so broken and dead scared him. `She-she tried to kill herself.' Tears slid down the hanyou's face as he held her body close and rocked back and forth.

"Kagome," a soft voice she hadn't heard in months called out to her.

"M-mom!" Kagome cried, looking around through the darkness.

"Honey, it's not your time to be here. The others need you. Go back now," her mother said gently. "I love you."

"I love you too sis!" A young voice called.

"As do I," whispered an older voice.

"Take care, sis!"

Kagome felt as though she was being pulled back. She closed her eyes. When she opened them again, she was met with a sight she wasn't expecting.

A/N: Muhahahaha! A cliffhanger! I'm sooooo sorry! Blame my bro! he's making me clean dishes!!! Stupid baka! Plz review! It motivates me!

What made her go so close to death was her family loss, and also something else I will reveal in the next chapter…or the 4th I dunno…..really soon tho….yes, she is in the Feudal Era. Mija: No, Kagome is perfectly fine. Well, except that she tries to commit suicide…..but 100% health….oh and also depression but physically (cept suicide part) she great! Naraku killed her family, lets just say he like umm…..went through the well or sumin I dunno……use you imagination to make up that story….lol…gomen…..thanx for your review! It makes me feel SO special and keeps me going!

I am thinking of making a sequel to this when im done. Tell me wut u think ok!
