She lay panting for a while as he help onto her….
"Inuyasha," Kagome asked softly. He grunted in reply. "I'm going to rinse off okay," she said getting up and walking to the river. She embraced the cool water as it flowed across her hot, sweaty body. Careful not to get her bandages wet, she held her hands in the air as she ducked down into the water just below the neck.
A few minutes later, she returned to Inuyasha, dripping wet, but refreshed. Inuyasha dried her off in his red jacket, and they both got their clothes on (Inuyasha didn't wear his jacket though). Inuyasha put his arms around Kagome's waist and she rested her head on his chest.
"I love you Inuyasha," she whispered.
"I love you too, Kagome," he whispered back as they headed into camp.
A/N: sniff all done! WAH! I will really try to write a sequel to this, as I plan to try tonight, seeing as how I am challenging myself to stay awake…hehe!
