Back at the valley..........

 

Kagome and Kouga had just got done eating and Kagome looked like she was about to fall asleep. Kagome and Kouga had gone back to the bed of furs and just sat there, enjoying the silence. Kouga soon felt something lean against his shoulder. He looked down and saw Kagome asleep. Kouga gave a smile and gently laid her down. He covered Kagome up in a fur and quietly left the cave.

 

Kouga looked around and saw the other demons in a huddle. He walked over to the group. They stopped talking and looked as their leader came into view.

 

"What is going on here?" Kouga demanded.

 

"We are wondering why you brought that girl with us. She is no use to us." One dragon said.

 

"She is here because I wish it to be. I am your leader and I would never do anything to put this clan in harm. Now trust me and don't question my actions again." Kouga snarled out, making others cringe and move back. Kouga stomped back to his cave. He quietly entered and walked to the bed. He looked down and saw Kagome sleeping peacefully. He sighed and brushed a piece a hair from her face. Kagome put her hand on top of his, nuzzled his hand and gave his palm a kiss, keeping it there.

 

Kouga tried to pull his hand away, but Kagome wouldn't let it go. He sighed in defeat and laid down next to her. Kagome snuggled up to him, her back against his front. Kouga sighed again, embraced her, and soon felt his eye lids getting heavy. He soon was asleep along side Kagome.

 

In the morning, Kagome woke up, feeling rested, warm, and at home. She yawned and stretched, but froze when she felt something warm beside her move. She looked over her shoulder and saw Kouga, asleep on his back. Kagome could barely keep a giggle from escaping her mouth as she watched him. Kouga had his legs tangled in the furs. He had one arm under his head, and the other arm was around a pillow and was clutching it close to his chest. Kouga's mouth was opened and Kagome could see a droplet of drool hanging on the edge. Kagome also heard a small snore coming from the mouth as well.

 

Finally Kagome couldn't keep the giggle contained any more and began to laugh. Her laughter woke Kouga up, who just opened one blue eye to look at her.

 

"What is so funny woman? Can't a guy get any sleep?" Kouga mumbled out as he placed the pillow over his head.

 

"You should see your self in the morning!" Kagome told him as her giggles stopped.

 

Kagome didn't hear anything from Kouga. She poked him in the side, which caused him to quietly chuckle into the pillow. Kagome gave a grin, she found his tickle spot. Kagome kept poking him until Kouga wrapped an arm around her and pulled her down next to him. He pulled the pillow away from him and rose above her. He looked down to see her smokey eyes, rosy cheeks, pink lips and her black hair spread about her. Kouga felt something beat within him.

 

"So you like to abuse poor defenseless men while they sleep. You will be punished for your crime!" Kouga growled out as he began to poke and tickle her. Kagome struggled against him, laughing and giggling. She finally was able to escape him by rolling off the bed, with him on the bottom, and ran to the entrance. Kouga quickly jumped up and ran after her. Kouga almost caught her, until Kagome ducked down and dodged him. Kouga fell forward and into the ground.

 

He growled as Kagome laughed at him. He got up and the chase was on again. Kagome quickly ran outside and went straight to the lake. Kouga followed her, both being watched by the other demons as they raced to the lake.

 

Kouga caught up to Kagome again as they hit the edge of the lake, and she tried to dodge and duck him again, but this time he grabbed her arm and both tumbled into the freezing cold water of the lake. Kagome came up sputtering while Kouga just laughed at her. Kagome growled and lunged at him, pushing him under water. Kouga came up and looked into her eyes. The two looked at each other and moved toward the other in a trance like state, until they were snapped out of it by a scream.

 

They looked up and saw a chubby mimiced fox demon come towards them. Kouga groaned and Kagome looked confused.

 

"That is Nila. She has been trying to get me as her mate for years. She is spoiled and stupid and won't leave me the hell alone!" Kouga snarled out, his eyes changing between black and blue. Kagome felt bad for him as Nila came up to them.

 

They watched as she bent over and took deep breaths. Then she looked up and Kagome inwardly cringed at her face. Nila had yellowish rotten teeth, pimples, zips, and huge hairy moles everywhere, and a huge puffy nose that was leaking snot. Kagome then began to giggle at her and soon was laughing so hard, she was leaking tears. Kagome almost fell back into the water, if Kouga hadn't caught her and held her against his side.

 

"What is so funny you ugly human?!" Nila scratched out in her almost male like voice. This made Kagome laugh even more. Nila puffed up even more. "Shut up you stupid human whore!!"

 

That made Kouga begin to see black and Kagome stopped laughing. Nila felt proud of herself that she made Kagome shut up, until she felt a fist hit her face. Nila fell backwards on her huge butt and looked up, shocked to see Kagome had hit her.

 

"I am no whore. You are the ugliest creature that has ever graced this planet. In fact, I think this planet can deal without you." Kagome snarled out and her eyes turned black.

 

Kagome held her glowing hand toward Nila and sent a black ball towards her. Nila screamed as she began to burn up, and soon was just a pile of ashes on the ground. Kouga walked up to Kagome as she snapped out of it. Kagome stared at the pile of ashes and her hand. She looked up at Kouga.

 

Kagome began to cry and Kouga embraced her, holding her close to his chest as Kagome cried and cried.

 

"Shh. It is okay Kagome. You did nothing wrong, that was your instinct taking over. It's okay. Don't worry about it." Kouga said softly in her ear.

 

Kagome began to cry less and less until all she did was sniffle. She looked up and Kouga held his breath. Her eyes were a little red, her cheeks were red and had tear tracks going down them. Her lips were in a pout and were a deep red color.

 

'God! She is soo beautiful!' Kouga thought as he stared at his woman.

 

"Come. Let us go and eat something. We need to start training you." Kouga said as he bent and picked her up, bridal style, with an arm under her knees and the other under her back. He carried her back to the cave. Kagome relaxed in his arms and soon was alseep again, as the other demons looked on in shock at what had happened between Nila and Kagome.

 

While back with Sango and the others....................

 

"YOU DAMN PERVERT!!!!!!!! LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!!!!!!!!" Sango yelled out as she beat Miroku into the ground with her shield.

 

Inuyasha, Night, and Kilala just sat there, watching and shaking their heads at the two. Dragon was in the forest, snorting at the stupidity of the two humans.

 

"Boy, they do like to flirt. Are they married? My mommy would do that do my daddy sometimes, when she said he was doin sumthin he wasn't suppose to be doin." A young, childish voice rambled above Inuyasha's head.

 

Everyone snapped up, except for Miroku and Sango, and looked to see a young fox demon dressed in dirty torn pants, shirt and vest. He had a fuzzy tail, fox hind legs, paws, and little ears. There was a faded blue bow in his dirty hair. In truth, he was a very dirty little boy.

 

"What the hell!!" Inuyasha blurted out as he grabbed the boy by his tail.

 

"OWW!!! LET ME GO YOU BIG DUFUS!!!!!" The boy screamed out and then he bit Inuyasha, who began to howl and tried to shake his hand loose from the sharp little teeth.

 

The boy was thrown into the back of Sango's head, which caused her to stop killing Miroku. She looked down and squealed at the sight of his tail. She picked him up and began to pet him. The boy began to make a growl like purr sound.

 

"You are soooooo CUTE!!!" Sango cried out as she petted him. "What's your name? I am Sango. The silver-hair is Inuyasha. The unconcious idiot on the ground is Miroku."

 

"I am Shippo! Are you married to Miroku?" Shippo asked innocently. Sango froze and blushed a deep red, Miroku woke up at the question and gave a sly smirk. Inuyasha began to roll on the forest floor, laughing. Kilala and Night watched while shaking their heads at the antics.

 

"No..no we..Miroku and I...aren't..." Sango stuttered out.

 

"But we could dear Sango." A sly Miroku said, creeping up to Sango, but stopped dead at her death glare.

 

"Oh. Well I thought you were from the way you acted. Can I travel with you?" Shippo asked.

 

"No you little runt!! Go home to your parents and annoy the hell outta them!!!" Inuyasha yelled out, the last statement began to make tears form in Shippo's eyes.

 

Sango saw this and quickly began to cuddly and hug the little kit, whispering soft words. Miroku went and knocked Inuyasha out with his spear end.

 

"What's wrong Shippo? Where are your parents?" Sango asked softly.

 

"They were killed by dragons while protecting me." Shippo said sniffling with tears running down his face.

 

"I'm sorry Shippo." A rough voice came from the ground. Everyone turned to look at the now concious form of Inuyasha, shocked that he apologized to the young boy.

 

"It's okay." Shippo said with a big smile.

 

"Come on. We need to get ready to leave to find that girl." Inuyasha ordered as he got up and started gathering his stuff. The others quickly followed. Soon they were packed and on their way, with Shippo riding along on Night with Kilala and Sango. Dragon up infront, leading the way by following Kagome's scent.
