Chapter 2: Race to it

Kagome woke up to her cell phone alarm,going off to some R&B hit. She slowly opened her eyes to see a ray of sunshine hit her face. She grimanced for second before rising up and ajusting to the light. Sango and Rin slowly woke up while hearing the alarm. Kagome yawned and looked at the time on her cell phone. It read 8:30.

She slowly got up,smiling at the two other girls. Rin had told the girls she was gona take a shower,and quikly escaped into the restroom. The girls soon took there showers,and where now debating what to wear.

"I have no idea what to wear!" Kagome yelled. Sango pulled out a green bikini from her suit case. "Where this under,the first place I wanna go is to the pool." Kagomew nodded. Rin then pulled out a white see through blouse with sleeves that went to the elbow.

"You have got to wear this."

"I guess."

"Kagome,I know that we can be fashion Diva's,but I have to say your the worst." Sango said with a slight laugh.

Kagome laughed and justr nodded in response.

Kagome ended up wearing the green bikini underneath the white blouse with the buttons all unbuttoned revealing the top of the bikini,some short jean shorts,and white filas.

Sango wore a red bikini, half shirt that was tight and looked like a jersy over it,showing off her flat stomach. She had on some short jean shorts as well,with black nikes.

Rin wore a fitted tank top,a orange bikini underneath. Same jean shorts. And rainbow nikes.

"It's 9,we should go now,it takes us like 10 minutes to get there anyway." Kagome said looking at her phone.

"Yeah." The girls responded.

Kagome looked to the side door where the boys room was. "Should we wake em up,or do you think they already left?"

The girls thought for a second. "I'm too nervouse too." Rin responded.

"Yeah me too." Kagome said a slight blush etching her face.

Sango rolled her eyes as the girls left the room and closed the door behind them. She walked over to the door ans knocked.

"What are you doing?!" the girls yelled in a whisper.

The door opened to see a hanyou,he was dressed in a blue and white long striped shirt,black baggy pants and some white jordens.

He looked at the girl and quikly remembered her. "Oh hey."

"Listen we just wanted to let you know where leaving now."

The hanyou smiled. "Were leavin right now too,do you want to follow us?"

"Yeah sure."

The other two boys walked out of the door with suit cases. Inuyasha closed the door. He turned around instintaly began to drool looking at Kagome.

Kagome just blushed as she led the way.

They checked out and had put everything in there cars. Kagome liked Inuyasha's caddilac,and forced her self not to ask to drive. Having her father being in a gang,they had always worked with race cars. She fell in love with them herself.

Sango had devised a plan that they would try to act cool. when she got in the car,she rolled down the windows down,and before jamming the music she said to Inuyasha. "We know where were going,so if we leave you behind,sooorrryyy." She said putting emphizes on sorry.

Miroku rolled his eyes and quikly retorted. "Babe,were sorry if we leave you behind,and now that we know that you girls know where your going,we can speed off."

Sesshomaru laughed at that one. Sango narrowed her eyes. "Sounds like a challenge."

"Take it as you want."

"Okay,first one there,wins,if you win,well do one thing for you,anything you ask,same if we win."

"Your on." Inuyasha said. "But just know this babe,Ive never lost a race."

Rin's eyes widened.

"Sango,he street races,we got no chance of winning!" Sango looked perplexed. They had street raced before,but not that much."

"Scared?" Sesshomaru asked.

Sango gave the best growl she could. Sango had been in the driver seat. Rin in the passenger. And Kagome in the back.

At that moment Kagome opened the door from the back,stepped out and opened Sango's door.

"What are you doing?" Sango asked. The boys just stared in confusion.

"I got this one,my father was undefeated,he taught me,so I learned from the best."

Sango then smiled and got out. She looked at the boys from in there cadillac. "Almost forgot,Kagome is the best racer you'll ever race,she's undefeated in race cars,and in motorcycling.

Kagome stepped in the driver seat.

She drove to the driveway of the hotel,with the boys next to her.

"Sure you wanna go through with this?"

Inuyasha gave a sexy smile. "Sure babe,but when we win,dont expect me to go easy on ya."

Kagome rolled her eyes,she turned up the music to "I luv your girl" and rolled down all the windows. "On the count of 3." Inuyasha nodded. Rin yelled over the music "1,2,....3!"

the cars raced off. Inuyasha was surprised to see Kagome could even keep up with him,normally he lost em at the starting line.

Miroku's eyes widened to notice that Kagome was right next to them,looking as if she wasn't having any trouble keeping up.

"She has a gift!" Miroku yelled.

"I'm gonna have to laugh if the wench beats you." Sesshomaru said with a smirk.

Inuyasha growled and simply said "She won't."

He looked to his right and looked over Miroku to she was just chillen,and had sunglasses on. She turned to look at him,and waved goodbye.

Suddenly he saw her pull something at the side of her. And she raced past them.

Inuyasha gawked. He smirked. "I got one of those too babe." He said as he pulled up a lever and pulled it. Suddenly the car went faster. He was surprised to see that he was still right next to her,yet frankly she was ahead by at least a foot.

'What type are they using? Well whoever her father was,knew what he was doing.' He thought simply.

He saw the exit to the highway. After that you just turned and there it was,the coast.

They exited and soon where at the coast.

When they where just about to reach there destination,Inuyasha sped up slightly,to where niether was winning.

Kagome reached the driveway. She looked to her left. They where even.

She went and parked,with Inuyasha right next to her.

She got out and smiled.

"Well seems like it was a tie."

Inuyasha got out and smirked at the girl.

"Your good."

"So are you." She said pulling off her sun glasses.

"Where did ya learn that again?"

"I said earlier,my dad."

"Who is your dad,a race car driver?"

"No,his name is Shinji Higurashi,or as most know him,leader of the serpents."

Inuyasha looked up with wide eyes. Miroku quikly swooped around and infront of him.

"Your Shinji's daughter!'

"I told you our father's were in a gang."

"Yeah but we thought more or less just a small gang,selling drugs,street racing,that all."

"Yeah,not in a gang that would put any ruthless serial killer shaking,that gang is seriously hard core!"

Kagome rolled her eyes. "Yeah."

Inuyasha quikly retorted "They had the three most skilled men in there gang!"

"Shinji,Kai,and Ryo." "Now,they were hard core."

"Yeah,our fathers."

Miroku's eyes widened.

"Mines Ryo." Sango explained.

"And mines Kai."

Sesshomaru stood behind the guys with a very perplexed look.

He was about to go up to the group and ask a very awaiting question,but it didn't come out,as a wolf demon swooped down and put his hand around Kagome waist. Kagome yelped.

"Come down babe,listen I saw you from across the parking lot,and damn girl ya fine as hell."

Inuyasha growled. "Wolf shit,get the fuck away from her."

"Why Inuyasha,it's nice to see you to."

"Koga,get the fuck away from her!"

Kagome pulled from his grasp and put her fist infront of his face. "Next time you touch me you will be having a long conversation with ground,got it!"

Koga looked at the girl up and down. He gave a very sexy smirk. "Don't worry I like em' fiesty."

Sango and Rin had to hold her back.

Then a fisted hand came down and hit Koga on the head.

Koga yelled and turned around expecting Inuyasha,but saw a boy with heavy bangs,long braid to match. "Bankotsu." Koga ground out.

"Koga." He said humor etching his voice.

Koga turned to Kagome. "I'll see you on the ship." After that he was gone in an instant.

Bankotsu turned around and watched the wolf run away. When he turned back around he saw what he though could have been an angel. She had long black wavy hair,sun kissed skin,and chocolet brown eyes.

She smiled. "Thanks for hitting him,that exactly what I wanted to do."

Bankotsu was speechless. Her smile warmed his heart. He saw how Inuyasha reacted to Koga with Kagome though. 'He likes her.' Bankotsu sighed. "It's cool." 'Im not gonna take his crush,he's my homeboy,i wouldn't do that.'

He turned to Inuyasha slapped hands with him,and just had small talk. Kagome rolled her eyes with a smirk. Her eyes met Rin and Sango's. They knew all to well that that Bankotsu had been head over heels for her. They just laughed. Got there suitcases out and began to walk torward the lines,the boys right behind them.

They had gaven the people that worked there, there tickets,and began to walk up the stairs. When they got on the deck the girls gasped. It was beautiful.

It was like a mansion on water. It was like a huge ball room,except there were tables lined up. Each had a candel in the middle. It had an ominous glow of gold in the room.

The speaker suddenly crackled and a voice came on.

"All people abord,please find your rooms,if you have a room number in 100's,you are on the first floor,if you have a room number in the 200's,you are on the second floor,and 300's are on the third floor,thankyou."

Kagome smiled. She looked to her ticket,her room number was 335.

"What did ya guys get?" Rin asked.

"335." Kagome said.

"324" Sango replied.

"Awesome,I got 340."

Inuyasha suddenly came from behind them.

"Please tell me at least one of you is on the third floor."

"335"

"324"

"340"

Inuyasha sighed. "Good,I got 343"

Miroku came from around Inuyasha.

"Ladies,I over heard,It seems I am on your level."

"Great" Sango said sarcasticly.

Miroku smirked. "Yeah,I got 323"

Sango's eyes widened.

"Aww,come on!"

Miroku smirked,while the girls just laughed.

Bankotsu came around and smiled at Kagome.

"I have 341"

"Cool,I'm right next to you." Kagome said with a dazzling smile.

Bankotsu blushed.

"Ummm..yeah"

"Say baby,I got 367" Koga said as he came around the corner.

"Sorry,I got 335"

Koga sported a small frown.

"Well that's too bad."

Kagome rolled her eyes with a smirk,lets just find our rooms."
