Dreams Come True

Warnings: Possible sex, violence and probably a bit of the, how should I put this, more colorful part of Kouga's and Inu Yasha's vocabularies.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but three plushies, 15 DVDs, 17 graphic novels, a wall scroll, 6 zipper pulls, 4 keychains, 3 character pins, 4 packs of Japanese collector cards, two calendars, and enough IY T-shirts to wear a different one every day for two weeks and still have leftovers…Heh, and to think my mom calls me obsessed!

Chapter 2

Kagome led Kouga deep enough into the trees so that they would not be easily seen or heard by her companions. The whole way in she kept close to the wolf, yet, her body still wanted to be so much closer. When she felt they were far enough from everyone else, she turned to look at him.

Kouga wrapped his arms around his woman, rubbing her back gently, eliciting a sigh from her.

"Kouga-kun, why am I feeling this way? I've had such intense dreams, but I didn't know who they were about. Not until you touched me. Then I knew. But I've never reacted this way to anyone before. I don't understand what's happening."

Kouga had stopped moving his hands, looking into her eyes while she spoke. She seemed a bit worried. He smiled gently and brushed his thumbs over her cheeks hoping to soothe her. "Don't worry, Love. It means that your body and instincts are telling you that I'm the one for you." Kagome cocked an eyebrow at that, making Kouga chuckle. "I've been dreaming of you more often lately, and more…passionately. But if you are unsure of what I've told you about your body and instincts, ask Inu Yasha."

"Ask me what?" Inu Yasha demanded. He stopped dead in his tracks at the sight that greeted him. Kouga and Kagome stood close together, Kouga's hands were gripping Kagome's backside while Kagome's arms were wrapped around the Wolf Youkai' neck holding him close.

"K-Wench, what the hell is going on here!?" Inu Yasha chose his usual angry cover-up to mask his pain at seeing a woman he cared for being so intimate with another male.

"Kouga and I were talking about some dreams I've been having lately. He gave me an answer and told me to ask you about it." Neither of them had moved a muscle. Scratch that. Kouga was sniffing Kagome's hair.

"Dreams? About that wolf right?" Inu Yasha's tone was that of defeat. He sighed. "So you know you're meant to be his, right? It's more tan a sign, it's fate. If you continue to deny it you'll both die."

"Kouga-kun, you didn't mention that last part."

"That's because I didn't want to scare you." One hand left her rear to soothe her back again.

"So what do we do?" Kagome inquired.

"Well, we mate."

Kagome leaned her head against her wolf's chest, taking in his scent. Inu Yasha turned and left. He didn't want to stick around for what he knew would come.
