A/N: This is a new story. Hope you like it. Still continuing with my other ones as well so don't you worry. I just got this in my head and couldn't get it out. So I wrote it and I had like five drafts in this so it shouldn't be too bad. I do have a habit of using a lot of adverbs in my writing and sometimes I overly describe things. I'm hoping I can get a beta reader for my stories or at least one for separate stories. So if any of you think that your a good writer and want to be my beta reader then come forth. So that I may have you to work on my stories. I promise to always give you credit. . Well without further ado I bring to you:
Drunken Silver Night
Chapter One: Love at first sight.
“I want a soldier...” Sang Destiny's Child from the CD the DJ was playing for the numerous amount of hormone struck teenagers in the house party of some big, hotshot, jock like football player who's parents just so happen to have left alone with the house while they enjoyed a four day trip to Hawaii. Or at least that's what Kagome had heard, and she didn't have a reliable resource for these things.
The lovely fifteen year old Kagome swayed her hips back and forth to the beat of the music playing, letting the thin, hunter green skirt that hung to her knees swish were it ended and her raven hair, set in spiral curls, swing in the opposite direction her hips were moving.
“Back to the remedy...” the music sang. It was 'Remedy' by Seether. She had no clue who that was, but she liked it. She was more into the whole Hip Hip soul bit over the whole hard rock deal.
The smell of sweat. Body odor, and cheap perfume fused together and filled the room as one, not so good smelling, scent that most people ignored. Kagome tried to swallow but found her mouth and throat were dry and she had very little saliva.
Smiling over to her friends, she started walking off of the dance floor. Pushing past people, saying “excuse me” over and over again and having to put up with the rude, undeserved comebacks, and corny pick up lines. She finally made her way through the crowd and to the punch table.
Her pale hand reached for one of the many blue and red plastic cups that rested on the table near the punch bowl. Her slender fingers grasped the one cup of her choice. Reaching for the ladle with the other hand, she stirred, what she innocently thought to be punch, within the crystal bowl. Then pouring the correct amount she wanted (which was full glass) in her blue plastic cup. Her hand rose it to her lips and she took a drink.
Her face immediately scrunched up from the bitter taste that had scorched her taste buds. “Ugh!” she said aloud and looked down at the red liquid in her cup. What kind of punch was this any way? It tasted horrible... but yet it was also kind of sweet in a way. About to throw the odd tasting drink away and head to the dance floor again, but was quickly reminded just how thirsty she really was when she swallowed and felt the dryness of her throat. So she downed the remains in her cup in one swift movement all the while holding her nose. When there was nothing left in it, she sat it down on the table and smiled as she took a step towards the spot where her friends were on the dance floor.
“Woah...” she tried to blink away the dizziness that came after taking that first step.
“'Gome!” yelled her best friend Sango Taijia from her spot on the dance floor. She was wearing a sassy little black dress that went to about a foot above her knees, high heels and her hair was down in spiral curls. Just as Kagome's. They had done eachothers hair the same that night on coincidence. The DJ was now playing 'Head strong.” by Trapt and Sango was dancing with her long term boyfriend, and another one of Kagome's best friends, Miroku Houshi. Kagome only had three best friends. Sango, Miroku, and Rin Tamaya. She was here at the party as well. “Hurry up Kagome and get over here!”
Kagome smiled at the couple. Ignoring the dizziness, she waved over at her two best friends. “Be there in a moment!” she shouted to them over the music.
“Headstrong! I'll take you on!” the music sang.
Kagome stumbled a bit from her standing position but caught herself before she could fall. She turned around and looked around for the bathroom. She took another step and felt like she was walking on nothing and she stumbled yet again. She was unlucky enough to catch herself this time and closed her eyes, getting ready for the impact from the expected fall.
But she didn't feel anything but strong arms catch her under her arm pits. She opened her eyes and blinked. Looking up in confusion her chocolate brown eyes met with crystal blue ones and she gasped at the loveliness of them. She held her breath when there eyes met. She let her two chestnuts trail down from his crystals to study his face. He was very handsome to say the least. A well sculpted face with high cheek bones that set off a slight 'look at me' vibe. His lips were quirked up into a cute, kind smile.
“You okay miss?” The handsome man asked her, his gentle smile never leaving his well tanned face.
“Um...” Kagome managed to say, blushing. “Yes, thank you. Um... sorry about that...” she apologized quietly.
He nodded and helped her onto her feet. She stood and turned around to face him. She looked him up and down and liked what she saw. An obviously well built man wearing baggy jeans and a black shirt. He had his brown hair in a high pony tail but some was falling into his face. Kagome guessed from dancing. Kagome blinked and thought she saw two of the man but shook her head and blinked again and he was one person again.
The man chuckled slightly to himself. “Thats alright. It was my pleasure to catch such a beauty in my arms.” he complemented. He saw her cheek bones turn pink some and smiled to himself. “She is quite the looker.” he thought.
“Kouga!” hollered a red-haired girl in pigtails and a short lavender mini skirt. “Quit flirting and get your butt over here!” Kouga looked over to were she was and blushed. It was obvious that she had embarrassed him.
“Excuse me...” the guy who was now known as Kouga said and Kagome watched with slight interest as he turned away from her with a wave of his hand and a swish from his dark haired ponytail.
After watching Kouga stalk off over to where the girl with red-haired pigtails was, Kagome sighed tiredly and brought her hand up to her forehead to wipe some sweat off. Why was she sweating? It wasn't all that hot in here. She shrugged it off as nothing and looked around at her surroundings again with hail lidded eyes. She needed to get to a bathroom and wash her face and gain control over her legs so she could go home.
Spotting a bathroom, Kagome made sure she could walk before going. Even though she was a little unbalanced and her legs felt weird when she walked, she thought she could hold up for a trip to the bathroom.
It was her luck that the bathroom just so happen to be on the other side of her room. She'd have to walk through the crowd of people to get there.
Kagome put on a brave face and walked over, stumbling once, and stepped onto the crowded dance floor. Pushing through the mob of people to reach her goal of going to the bathroom. She disregarded everyone yelling at her to move and watch where she was going. She had half the mind to go and tell them to F... well something very unpleasant and unladylike. Something that she would never do, much less think such horrible words. Unusual.
And Kagome never made it to the bathroom, for she stopped dead in her tracks as something silver caught her attentions. Swaying silver.
Blinking, she tried to follow it. It was moving through the crowd. She was following it like a fish lured to bait. It stopped every now and then as if to let her catch up.
“Get back here...” she mumbled under her breath as she followed. Her head felt light headed and kinda happy like.
“Watch it!” yelled some couple when Kagome accidentally bumped into them, interrupting the kissing and the dancing.
“S-sorry.” She stuttered on her apology, her eyes never leaving the silver.
She wanted it. Even as the whole room tilted and she felt the slight nauseating feeling in her stomach she didn't stop following.
The mysterious silver lead her off the dance floor and through a dimly lit hallway full of people mingling and making out. Yet she still followed and she found the more that she was teased by almost seeing what it was, the more she wanted it, craved for it. Whatever It was.
And it was as if no one else could see the silver. If they did then they just did not care. When the beautiful silver would pass by them, they would turn there heads slightly but then no other reaction came from them. Except a couple of girls who would giggle. Something rose up from within her and made her want to kill. Literally. But she paid no mind to her inner beast. Her main focus was the silver that was trying to get away from her so she quickened her pace. She had already gotten used to her legs somewhat and they didn't bother her as much.
The silver left her view and she felt her heart race in a dreaded panic. Where'd it go! She pushed past the people and come to the end of the long hallway. There was two ways to go. Left or right. She looked both ways and saw a flick of silver going around the corner. She ran after it. It was not getting away from her.
She rounded the corner after it and saw that it went into a door.
Yes! She was going to corner it! There was no way in the world that it was going to hide or get away from her this time. She was going to see what it was and that was that.
Kagome ran towards the door and grasped the handle tightly in her hand. Her pulse quickened in warning, as if she was about to make one of the most biggest decisions of her life. She looked at the knob and her hand lessoned on the grip of it. Could she do this? I mean what exactly was the silver. It could be anything. Something good. Something bad. She didn't know.
But she wanted to know! Her hand gripped the door knob again and she turned it and threw open the door.
Silver.
A man turned around from looking out the window and looked at Kagome. As he turned around his silver hair followed behind him. He gazed at her from the other side of the room with questioning amber eyes. The look on his eyes quickly changed and she saw nothing but pure love in them. The look made Kagome's heart skip a beat and while body temperature go up a hundred degrees.
He was so beautiful. He had silver hair that went past his butt in a wild sexy way. Pale skin went well with his amber eyes that showed his every emotion. He wore baggy black pants and a red T-shirt. And he had on a demon toothed necklace. She could also tell that he was built. He was...
So beautiful...
Kagome returned his look with deep admiration and love. Love for this man that she had only met less than a minute ago. But why did she feel like she had known him all her life and why did she want nothing more in this world other than for him to take her in his arms at that very moment? Why!
As if reading her every thought the man smirked sexily and walked over to her. He took long strides even though it felt like forever for him to reach her. Kagome held her breath to hold the moment. She felt that if she let it go then he would leave and she would awaken to nothing.
She never had to let her breath out. The man put his arms around her waist and brought her to him and let his lips crush into hers.
He took her breath away.
To shocked to do much less then stare at his closed eyes. Kagome's mind raced and she thought of so many things but yet nothing at all. This guy just took her first kiss. She didn't even give him permission.
But who cared?
She closed her eyes and encircled her arms around his neck. She kissed him back. With everything that she possessed. She kissed him back in the hopes that he would understand all her feelings toward him through it. And when she did this. She felt him do the same. He loved her too.

Kagome gradually opened her eyes the next day and was greeted with a very painful headache. Her hand shot up to head and she lifted herself up on her elbow. Why did her head hurt so much? Damn it! It hurt real bad. It was making her nauseous. Really!
She jumped up out of the bed, covering her mouth, and raced across the room to the bathroom door and opened it. She threw herself to the mercy of the toilet and let everything that was in her stomach out. There was hardly anything in her stomach but she still vomited. Mostly something watery looking. After throwing up, she leaned her head against the toilet and closed her eyes. What was wrong with her?
Kagome sat there for the longest time with her eyes closed thinking. What had happened yesterday? She remembered getting something to drink and it not tasting right, then not much else. She laughed. Of course. Someone spiked the punch. How nice of them. She sighed when she couldn't remember much else. Must have got really wasted. Weird though that she only had a glass full. But she didn't know how she should have acted since she had never drank before in her life. She felt a dull throbbing pain from between her legs so she opened her eyes. She blinked when she that she was naked. She looked around the bathroom and didn't recognize it. Where was she? Where was she and why was she naked! She started to panic. Getting to her feet, she winced as the throbbing pain got worse. Looking down and seeing some blood on her inner thighs made her think period but then she got a flash back.
“I love you...” Kagome said to the man after he had broke the kiss to look at her.
“I love you.” He said back to her.
Kagome blushed at what else she remembered. She put the toilet seat down and flopped down on it. “I can't believe I did that she said to herself. “I didn't even know him.” tears come to her eyes as she got back up and went to put her clothes on. And where the hell was her friends! Shouldn't they have come and looked for her or something! She looked into the room from the bathroom. Was he still in there? She looked and saw that the room was bare so she continued to think as she put on her clothes. Her thoughts were interrupted when a black square on the floor caught her attention. Bending down, wincing, (she was still sore) and picking it up. She noticed it was a wallet. Kagome opened it and saw that it was mainly empty, except for a twenty dollar bill. She looked for the information to see if the persons drivers license or I.D. Was in there. But they weren't. Simply that twenty dollar bill. She closed it and saw the bottom right edge had something written. In silver writing.
Silver!
Kagome swallowed. It read, Inuyasha Tashio.
“I love you.”
Kagome closed her eyes tightly to stop the tears that threatened to come out. Where had he gone to? Was his words meaning less? Did he just say them to get in bed with her? Probably... But then why did it feel like love when they made it? And why does it hurt so much to think this?
She put the wallet in her skirt pocket and pushed it and him out of her mind for the time being and opened the door and closed it behind herself. Looking both ways, hesitantly, she was happily greeted by no one. Tip toeing down the hall way and into another. She blinked at seeing a few people passed out on the floor. She tried to hide the snicker at seeing one particular guy with his hand down another guys pants. Whoever did that to then was going to get beat when they woke up. Or maybe no one did that to them... Kagome couldn't help the laugh that came after that thought.
Kagome walked into the huge living room and jumped when she heard the phone ring. She thought that she was going to have a heart attack when a guy jumped up off of the couch and raced over to it. He answered and she saw his face go pale.
“Hello Mother!” he said with fake enthusiasm to his mother over the phone. “What ? Coming home now! Yes every things okay! Why wouldn't everything be okay?” He sighed. “I thought you and father were going to stay in Hong Kong for a week?” He paused for a long time. “Mother don't listen to father! Hong Kong people are great!” His eyes got real big. “And hour...” His face turned green. “I love you... too. Bye.” He hung up the phone and screamed as he went around the room trying to wake people up.
Kagome laughed to herself and sneaked out the front door and looked left and right. How was she going to get home? Walking down the porch steps and down the long drive way until she reached the road, Kagome looked up and down the road. Which way was home? Dang it! This guy lived at least two miles from the nearest road home. And it was like a maze up here. She should have called Miroku or Sango one to come and get her. Defiantly not her parents though. Looking back over her shoulder at the people wobbling out of the house and the kid screaming his brains off at them to get off of his property. She decided she'd rather just take her chances and walk down the road until she came to the town or something.
Setting off to the right was always her lucky direction if that made any since to anyone. Her ear was starting to burn so she reached up and took the ear ring out of it. The ear ring was silver and it dangled down in three small emerald jewels. She reached up to take the other off but found it wasn't there. Where the heck did it go? She sighed. They cost her at least two hundred dollars. Her most expensive pair. She wasn't made of money you know.
Sighing she put the ear ring in her pocket and kept on walking. How in this world was she going to get home?
