Kagome smiled, Miroku's wing span had grown since she'd seen him in the past.

“You think that's Gilligan?” Inu Yasha asked.

“I dunno, I guess by the way Dad's acting it is, okay, please tell me you see that the monk has wings?” Shippou asked…

“Don't tell me I was….” Sango blanched, and then, wavered before falling to the ground, out cold.

“Okay, well, she knows something we don't…” Inu Yasha muttered.

“No shit, she's a Taijiya, a walking encyclopedia on Demons, and everything they do, not to mention how to kill them.” Shippou said stating the obvious.

“Miroku! Is that Gilligan?” Inu Yasha called.

“That's Naraku.” Miroku corrected.

“Ha, we were right, Gilligan's here.” Inu Yasha said triumphantly to Shippou.

Miroku stood perfectly still between Taisho and Sesshoumaru.

“What the hell are you?” Sesshoumaru whispered.

“Some call me Uriel, some call me the protector of the human race, most call me a Guardian Angel of some kind. But how ever you look at it, I am the bringer of death.” Miroku said, his eyes on the ground.

Kagome dropped to the ground, off the shed, and rejoined the group as she took a shot at Naraku, with a powerful Miko arrow. She took out some of his tentacles.

Miroku focused his holy power on his staff, and in a fluid movement launched it along side a second Miko arrow from Kagome…

The scored a hit, and took out Naraku's right arm.

Miroku looked over his shoulder, his eyes a blank blood red. “Shippou, your Suzy, please?”

Shippou made to run to his friend with suzy in his hand, but bounced off the shield.

Sango roused as Shippou fell on her.

“Sango, take Suzy to Miroku!” Shippou said, hauling Sango to her feet.

Sango did as she was told, Hiraikotsu across her back, and the chain scythe in her hands before she even realized she was obeying orders, she handed it to Miroku, and backed away from him a little.

“Go back to Shippou.” Miroku said, softly, his voice calm.

“No, I can fight as well.” Sango growled.

“Do Not Ignore Me!” Naraku snarled, sending a tentacle straight at Sango.

Sango flipped out of the way, and landed neatly in a crouch beside Kouga.

“Hey, no hard feelings?” Kouga asked, checking to make sure Sango was okay.

“I'll find a way to get you back, but no, no hard feelings.” Sango said.

Miroku checked the balance and weight of the scythe he'd made for Shippou, he carefully worked it up into a swing, getting used to the feel of it again. He smiled. “Naraku, or as Yash and Ship have taken to calling you, Gilligan, today is the day you will die…”

Inu Yasha watched Miroku with the Scythe. “Shippou, did you hear him tell Sesshou that he's the bringer of death, Uriel?”

“I was trying to forget that.” Shippou whispered.

Inu Yasha jumped along with Shippou, and a few of the others, as the speakers, on the Shrine grounds blared to life with Bryan Adams, “Summer of 69.”

“What the hell is Nanna doing?” Inu Yasha asked.

“You boys always fight better when you have a rhythm.” Nanna shouted from inside.

Miroku found his grove, as the scythe glowed.

Inu Taisho smirked, as he and Sesshoumaru tore into Naraku, with their swords and poison whips, and claws… Knowing better then to bite him.

Kagome was caught off guard slightly, looking for the band, but remembered something Sango had called surround sound. She charged up another arrow, the Shikon No Tama glowing bright pink around her neck…

Kouga tackled Sango to the ground a second too late, as a tentacle sliced through her.

Sango whimpered slightly, as Hiraikotsu returned and bounced off the shield just above Shippou's head. She'd taken a hit right through her abdomen.

Kouga growled, scooping her up, he carried her to the shield, laying her down, right outside it. “Sango's down!” Kouga said to Inu Yasha, and Shippou.

Amazingly those caught in the battle still didn't hear.

Kagome dodged as Naraku lunged for her.

Inu Taisho grabbed her, before she could touch the ground, and he set her by the barrier, before he went after Naraku again.

Kagome was about to go back to the fight, when she heard Kouga asking for first aid supplies through the barrier. She knelt beside the wolf, and looked at Sango's wounds. She took one of her Miko arrows, and slammed it into the ground, putting a shield around her, Kouga, and Sango as well. She smiled softly at Sango.

“Hang tight, Slayer, concentrate on me, don't think about the wound, or the pain, if you must watch the battle, concentrate on something else.” Kagome instructed, allowing her aura to flare, she put her hands over the wound, as they blazed pink.

Sango watched the lecherous Monk, the demon she'd come to call a father, Sesshoumaru, and the hanyou called Naraku fight…

Kagome wove her aura around Sango's confused, hurt, and weakening aura. She fed some of her own strength into the Taijiya, and used her Miko energy to reduce Sango's wound to a mere scar.

Sango watched as Inu Taisho got thrown into a tree, as Sesshoumaru got slammed so hard into the ground that the man was bleeding, and as Miroku's arm was ripped off, and he was hit with his own Scythe. She watched as Naraku made his escape…. Tears came to her eyes for her family, and the Monk…
She looked to see Jason near a blood rage in the barrier, and Shippou torn between fear, grief, and rage.

Kagome let the barriers fall, needing their energy at the moment. She turned back to the battle, to see Naraku gone, Inu Taisho staggering free of the tree, Sesshoumaru struggling to roll over, and Miroku walking over with his scythe sticking out of his chest, and his arm in the other hand.

Miroku stopped for a minute, holding his arm up to the place where it had been ripped free, and there was a blue light as it healed it self. He then pulled Shippou's Suzy out of his chest.

Yasha ran to his father checking him over to make sure he'd be okay, then to Sesshoumaru making sure his older brother would live, and his eyes slowly stopped flickering.

Shippou knelt with Kouga, beside Sango, as the woman realized that she was no longer injured. She looked back to see the three guys that had survived the fight. She was shocked to see the monk still standing strong.

Inu Yasha helped up Sesshoumaru, taking most of the full demon's weight on his own shoulder's.

Nanna shook her head. “In the house, and try not to bleed on the mats.” She said, wielding a spatula.

Kouga carried Sango, as Shippou took Hiraikotsu, and allowed Kagome to lean on him.

Kirara met them inside, and hopped off the couch allowing some of the wounded to take her spot.

Sesshoumaru was situated in the recliner, on a towel, to keep the blood from the chair, Inu Taisho was sitting on the couch, fully healed, from years of experience. Kagome sat on the floor, leaning against the wall, with Sango beside her. Shippou and Yasha sat on the couch with Taisho, Kouga sat with Kagome and Sango, and in the other half of the room, with most of it to himself, Miroku sat on a barstool.

“What?” The now once again human looking and acting, lecherous monk asked….

Inu Taisho laughed. “Son, you are one oblivious person, and I guess we should have at least told Sess, Yasha, and Kouga… About your… Gift?” Taisho struggled not to laugh.

Shippou sat cleaning the blood off his scythe, a little upset that the monk had even gotten blood spray on the chain……
