Note: First fanfic of mine, hoping that there's no wrong spellings...

"I'll never forget what you've done for me," those were his last few words. 'I'll always miss his protective heart, all those laughs I had because of his. The way he made me feel brave, maybe even proud when I protected him for Inuyasha. His sunset-orange hair, emerald green eyes. That sweet little kitsune, Shippo. He was like a future son that I probably would never have. Maybe I was like his long lost mother.
I don't have the strength to move. Maybe I do, but it sure doesn't feel like I do. Why does it hurt so much... why?'
"Man, if Kagome doesn't stop mourning about Shippo, we'll never catch up to Naraku!" (A/E;Hmm, I wonder who that is?) Inuyasha shouted cockily, even though everyone except for one tajiya (A/E; Please tell me how to spell it...) Sango, knew that his pain for the kit was immense.
"Oh, shut up Inuyasha! How would you like to feel that you would never see your adopted son ever again? Knowing that just one thing was keeping him from you?" snapped Sango.
Inuyasha shut his mouth right away, but still kept his grouchy face.
Inuyasha knew very well how much it hurt. After all, he was his adoptive father. Well, as far as he knew. (A/E; Or so he thinks. Muhahahahahahahahahaha-)
Inuyasha's reason of why he hit Shippo so many times in his short time that he had been with them was either because he annoyed him, or he wanted Shippo to learn how to defend himself. The latter wasn't useful because Shippo always called Kagome to protect him. 'Defend his honor and protect Kagome!' Inuyasha always thought.
Sagon's and Miroku's reasons were exactly the same. Not the reason why they hit him, (which they never did) but why they missed him. They saw him as a family member, someone that they should care for.
Kirara's reason was a bit different. Sure she saw him as a family member and all that, but more as a friend. A playmate, maybe.
"Maybe we should help her..."
"Where are you getting at, Houshi-sama?"
"Maybe she needs to forget about Shippo?"
"And how will we help her do that?"
"We first need to visit Mikodo-sama." (A/E;New character! Wheeeee......)
In a flash, Inuyasha, Miroku and Sango riding on Kirara were off into the sunset.
Inside the hut, Kagome was sitting against a cracked wall, with her knees infront of her chest, staring at another wall. 'Maybe I should go and do something...'
Kagome meekly stepped out of the hut, then wincing at the bright sunlight, rushed back into the small small "building".
'Back to the wall, I guess.'
Dun dun dun!!! Not much of a cliffy. Huh. I'm a rookie "writer" who doesn't have a imagination. Just one thing. No flames.
