This is my very first fan fiction!!!

The title: Entwined

Summary: Inuyasha finally has the courage reveal his feelings for Kagome but a mistake happens and he pays for it dearly. Then, Kagome runs back home to her own time. Will Inuyasha ever see her again or will he lose her forever???

"Inuyasha!!! Sit!" yelled Kagome, as Inuyasha was ready to seal the Well with a huge boulder as he had previously tried to do once before. Inuyasha collided with the earth with a hard thud sending the boulder across the ground opposite of where he fell. "Uhhhhhhh…" moaned Inuyasha as he struggled to sit up. "Now don't follow me, Inuyasha!" These were the last words Kagome spoke as she descended into the Well into her own time, leaving Inuyasha to struggle through the spell as he made his way back to the hut where Kaede, Shippou, Miroku, and Sango stayed, mumbling curses to himself.

"I can't believe him!" exclaimed Kagome as she threw open her bedroom door, knocking off all her pictures that were settled on her desk. "Of all the dumb things …", Kagome suddenly calmed herself down; she was not about to let Inuyasha to get the better of her. She was so upset with him that she just had to escape to her own time; she couldn't face him after what he had just done. Before she made her trip back home, he had told her that he wanted to speak to her alone, leaving Shippou, Sango, Miroku, and Kaede to stare at them in amazement, as they left the hut.

He had brought her to the Old-God tree. When they had arrived, he had just stood there staring off into the sky, she had asked what he had wanted to talk about which brought him out of his daze, when he finally turned to face her. She froze, just staring into his amber eyes, which were intense with a feeling that she had never seen before. He suddenly took hold of her face with both his hands, and surprisingly, bent his face to hers, covering her mouth with his warm lips. She was too dumbstruck to protest or to even cry out. For several moments, as he slid his tongue into her mouth caressing her tongue with his, she couldn't help but keep her eyes open.

She couldn't believe that he was kissing her! He worked his hands from her face and slid them into hair, tangling it around his fingers. She couldn't stop this, for deep down in her heart, she had wanted to kiss him as well. After moments of thinking how unbelievable this was, she couldn't help but wrap her arms around his neck and return his kiss. She had kissed him with as much hunger and warmth as he had done. She worked her hands from his neck to his hair, and then to his ears, teasing them with soft touches of her fingers that sent him to moan into her mouth between kisses.

They were in the middle of their exuberant kiss when he pulled away long enough to mumble Kikyo's name. She couldn't believe it; she just pulled away from his embrace, staring at him as tears started to cloud her vision, and ran to the Well with Inuyasha running after her, calling her name, yelling out apologies. But she didn't stop; she did not even want to look back at him. She just ran and ran, but he was faster than her; he ran past her and had gotten to the Well before her, grabbing a huge boulder, and leaning over the Well.

"Kagome, I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!" Inuyasha cried out, as she finally reached the Well. She couldn't stop crying, and without thinking about anything but what he had just done, she yelled, "Sit, boy!" That's when she jumped into the Well, without looking back, and now she was in her room. "How could he do that…I thought…I thought he cared about me… " Kagome grumbled to herself as she threw herself on her bed and cried. She would cry and cry until there were no more tears left for her to cry.

"I can't believe that I called her Kikyo. I wanted to kiss Kagome, I wanted to feel Kagome's lips, Kagome's hair, Kagome's body-how could I have done that…" Inuyasha whispered to himself as he made his way back to the hut. "What happened? Where's Kagome?" Shippou eagerly asked. He would miss her when she would go back to her own time, and be thrilled once again to see her return.

"She went back home!" yelled Inuyasha to Shippou, surprising the others with a harshness to his voice that he, himself, had to admit was even too harsh for Shippou, Sango stood up aware of his emotion to ask him "When will she be returning?" "Soon" Inuyasha proclaimed, and with that said, left the others to stare at his backside as he made his way outside where he would sleep for the night. "What do you think happened?" asked Miroku, "He seems a little more uptight than usual" "I do not know, but I know one thing for sure, it has something to do with young Kagome," replied Kaede. Leaving the issue alone, they all laid down to rest, and would wait for Kagome's return in the morning.

The next morning, Kagome walked to Well, she didn't want to go back and face Inuyasha but she couldn't leave the others wondering why she had left so abruptly. All night, she had cried until finally, she had cried herself to sleep. When she reached the Well, she suddenly remembered her backpack and started to go back for her it when she suddenly realized that she had left it in Kaede's hut. She had to go back any way whether she didn't want to or not. Okay, I'm going back. I am not about to let Inuyasha make a fool out of me with him thinking that I can't handle this. That's it, I'm going back! Kagome thought as she bravely jumped over the Well.

Within a few seconds, she was in the feudal land of Japan. Kagome then made her way to the hut, where she found everyone gathered around eating. She looked around the hut seeing everyone but Inuyasha. For some strange reason, she was hoping to see him but at the same time she didn't want to see him. She didn't want to relive the hurt again, but she would have to and she would hold that pain in as if nothing had happened. "Kagome!" cried Shippou as he jumped from his spot on the wooden floor into her arms, giving her a big hug, in which she returned with equal enthusiasm. "Inuyasha would not tell us the reason as to why you left all of a sudden, what happened Kagome?" asked Sango as she rose from the floor, walking towards her with a worried expression on her face.

"Sango, I'm fine. I…I just felt sick all of a sudden and just went home. I didn't want to worry you, but it seems that I did that any way. I'm sorry," said Kagome, as the lies rolled right off her tongue. "Well, then, what is troubling Inuyasha? His demeanor last night was harsher than usual," replied Miroku who had suddenly appeared next to Sango. "That was Inuyasha being his usual self" Shippou snickered, as he sat smugly in Kagome's arms. "Uhmmm…where is Inuyasha?" asked Kagome.

"We do not know…he went to sleep outside last night and when we awoke, he was gone," replied Miroku, still beside Sango, inching his way toward her with each word of his reply. Sango noticed this as well and gave him a good elbow to his abdomen, sending him back a few steps, grasping his stomach in pain, but he laid off the flirting long enough to regain his composure. "Ohh…alright then, I guess we could wait until he comes back," Kagome said, as she seated herself on the floor with Shippou now in her lap. With that said, they all sat around and ate what Kaede had prepared.

"Kagome's here!" exclaimed Inuyasha as he picked up her scent from the direction of the hut. But I can't go back there, Inuyasha thought to himself, she hates me for what I did to her. How could I face her and apologize for what I did to her. Inuyasha pondered this as he walked to the lake where he took off his red haori and stepped into the cool, crisp water, until he was covered from head to toe in water. "Why did I say Kikyo's name…I didn't mean it…why did I say it!" Inuyasha continued to mumble to himself. Maybe because I still feel guilty over what happened to Kikyo. Maybe I wanted to still help he in some way. Maybe I still wanted her. Maybe I should stop making excuses. Ohhh…Kagome hates me, which was the last thing that I ever wanted.

"I love Kagome. I loved Kikyo…I love Kagome, I love Kagome… I-" Inuyasha continued to mutter to himself. Just then, Inuyasha's ears perked up to hear a rumbling in the bushes. He quickly rushed out of the lake, still drenched in water, grabbed on his haori, and made his way to the place of the sound. But before he even reached that sound, he caught that familiar scent again. It's-It's Kagome…she's here. Inuyasha slowly made his way to the bush, uncertain at the way Kagome would react. Ohh… he sees me. What am I going to do? It would be pretty weird for you to just go and run off, even after telling Sango, Kaede, Miroku, and Shippou that you wanted to look for Inuyasha. What am I going to do? What am I going to do?

"Kagome, I know you're there. Please come out. I want to talk to you" Inuyasha whispered softly. He didn't want to chase her away again. All right, I can do this. I can do this. Kagome stepped out of the bush and looked straight ahead, past Inuyasha until her eyes settled on a rock beside the lake. "What do you want? I only came here to get you so we all could leave and go look for more of the Jewel shards" Kagome said in a strong voice, not wanting Inuyasha to hear her weakness, but she was weak. She was using all her strength to stand there and not fall over. He looked startling. He had not dried off from the water before putting on his yukata and his silver hair glistened in the sun, leaving strands of it to be plastered to the side of his face. He's beautiful, thought Kagome, but he only sees Kikyo. She's so beautiful, Inuyasha sighed inwardly to himself. How could I mistake her for Kikyo?

"Well, I'm waiting" Kagome answered nonchalantly.

"Kagome about yesterday, I'm sor-" Inuyasha tried to get out before Kagome held up her hand to stop him.

"Inuyasha, forget about it. It didn't mean anything. That kiss meant nothing to me." Kagome tried to gather up all her courage in saying this.

"Nothing…nothing to you, but it meant something to me" Inuyasha growled. How could she say that? That kiss meant everything to me.

"Ohhh…really! The last time I checked, I was Kikyo in your eyes" Kagome growled back. " How dare you get mad at me? You're the one who hurt me! Not the other way around"

" I know and I'm sorry, all right," Inuyasha continued to growl. All he wanted to do was throw Kagome to the ground and hold her there until he could convince her that he loved her and not Kikyo.

"Well, sorry is not going to cut it with me! Good bye Inuyasha" Kagome said and at that time turned on her heels to walk back to the hut.

I can't let her leave like that. With that thought, he grabbed Kagome by her left arm, and spun her around to face him. Her eyes showed terror, unaware of what he was thinking at that time. Just then, with his eyes burrowing into hers, he attacked. He forcibly lowered his lips to hers, not giving Kagome a chance to say that word or to even to say No to this kiss. What is he doing? "Inu-, sto-" Kagome tried to get out, but his lips were merciless and would not let her escape. He kissed her long and hard, his tongue encircling hers.

He finally pulled away leaving him and Kagome panting for breath. "Kagome, let me show you how much I want you. I only want you. You! Are you going to stop me from showing you how much I love you. Kagome, it's you that I want. I love you. I love you, Kagome" Inuyasha panted between breaths. I only want you, Kagome. Kagome looked into Inuyasha's eyes, unsure of what to do. He was so forceful with is words and in some way, she believed them. No, she believed him. She believed his declaration of love to her, and not to Kikyo.

With tears glistening in her eyes, she rose up on her toes and planted a light kiss upon his lips. She stared into his eyes once more, " Why did you call me Kikyo?" Kagome said, with an undertone of sadness to it. " Because…because I thought that I still had feelings for her and I do because I loved her once. But I wanted to say good-bye to her! That kiss was to say good-bye to her. I love you, Kagome. You have to believe me!" exclaimed Inuyasha, holding Kagome against his body. " I love you, Inuyasha," whimpered Kagome. With those words, their fate was sealed. Inuyasha gathered Kagome into his arms, and continued to kiss her in the same manner as their first kiss. Hungrily, he sucked at her tender lips.

He reached around her to run his hands down the length of her back, with his hands finally resting on her hips. Kagome raised her hands to his face caressing his softness, making her way down to his waist, settling her hands upon them, mimicking Inuyasha's hands. Inuyasha ran his hands to the hem of her green skirt to lift her white blouse out its place, leaving her to stand there against him in a white lace bra.

Without breaking the kiss, he unhooked her bra, using his claws, unsure on how to actually remove the piece of cloth, which served as a barrier between him and his love. Her breasts were luscious and firm, ready to be touched at a moment's notice. Her nipples were a pale pink that brought about his arousal at the mere sight of them. Their kissing deepened, leaving his tongue to caress every part of her mouth. She gasped, sending Inuyasha to probe even deeper into her mouth. Suddenly, she felt her naked breasts against his haori, separating them from a bare touch.

Then, Inuyasha lowered her onto the grass without further breaking his delving kisses. He did not want to crush her with his weight, so he lay to her side, propped onto his elbow. Breaking the kiss, he moved his lips to the nape of her neck where he sucked tenderly leaving her to cry out his name softly. With his palm, he cupped her breast, running his thumb across her nipple, bringing its hardness along with his touch. Kagome arched into his touch; his touch sent impulses through her whole body. This is what she wanted, to feel his hands all over her, to feel his lips caress her all over her, to feel him inside of her. Her body jerked with each movement of his hand. He would cup her breasts, and then he would take her hardened nipple between his thumb and index finger, and massage her nipple. He paid as much attention to one breast as he did to the other. He continued this until she didn't think that she could hold her herself any longer.

His mere touches would bring her over the edge. Sensing her movements, Inuyasha glided his hand down her stomach, where he came across the skirt that he had not removed. His hand moved past the cloth to feel her lower abdomen until he reached the hem of her soft panties. Through that thin piece of cloth, he felt the wetness that had gathered there. She began to move in a rhythm in time with his hand movements, bringing her towards the edge, but Inuyasha did not allow her the experience to come so easily and quickly. He watched her face in amusement as he saw how he had brought her such pleasure. I won't stop, Kagome. She looked stunning. He would notice her whimpering of his name. He would almost let himself go at the mere sight of Kagome's lips, tightening into a straight line, repeating his name over and over again. Kagome felt a feeling of abandonment as she inwardly cursed Inuyasha for stopping this. She gripped firmly the grass beside her. She didn't know what to do, but just lay there, giving Inuyasha access to every part of her being. Just then, he moved in front of her, leaving him to hover at the base of her feet. With both hands, gliding up her legs, he found the hem of her skirt and slowly removed the skirt down, down past her knees, down past her ankles, and discarded the green cloth to the side. He then propped her legs, leaving her knees to reach upward toward the sky. He did the same with her panties as he had done with her skirt.

With that, Inuyasha lowered his face toward her womanhood, grasping her thighs as he continued to lower his mouth. He slid his tongue slowly around her engorged femininity and finally slid his tongue inside her, tasting her, tasting her sweetness. Kagome immediately lost control of her body, her body responded to every probe of Inuyasha's tongue. "Inu...ya…sha, Inu…ya…" Kagome moaned his name out loud while bucking her hips to meet his tongue; she did not want this sensation to ever end, but it did end as Inuyasha slowly raised his eyes to meet hers. There was a look of hunger and wanting in his eyes. I want you, Kagome, Inuyasha thought to himself. With that thought, he moved from her legs to stand to remove his haori, never removing his gaze from Kagome's eyes.

Inuyasha removed his clothing slowly. Once he was undressed, he stood there, allowing Kagome to soak up the image of his body. The word beautiful was an understatement to describe him. He was male, utterly male, from his strong broad shoulders, to his muscled stomach, to his arousal. "I want you, Inuyasha, I need you", Kagome whispered unsure of how strong her voice was. She didn't even think that he could have heard her, but he did hear her. And he responded; he settled himself between Kagome's legs, feeling the heat from her womanhood. Kagome could feel Inuyasha's arousal at the base of her feminine mound. She wrapped her legs around his hips, pulling him closer to her. I need to feel him, Kagome whimpered to herself.

"I want you Kagome, I want to be inside of you, I want to feel you around me, hot and tight", Inuyasha whispered into her ear, sending shivers throughout her whole body.

"This is how much I want you, Kagome" Inuyasha growled as he brought her hand to his arousal. Kagome didn't know what to do but tighten her grip on his manhood, causing Inuyasha to purr softly into her ear.

With the response that he was giving, she continued to tighten her grip slowly, and lightly moved her hand along the length of him, feeling him pulse underneath her touch. With her touching him, he brought his mouth down to hers, pushing his tongue deep into her while moaning into her mouth. Kagome sensed this, and hastily moved her hand along his length faster and faster. Oh Kagome, don't stop! But Inuyasha could feel his hips buck at her touch; he could feel himself going over the edge, but he wouldn't allow it. "But it's not over, Kagome", Inuyasha chuckled to himself as he placed both her hands above her head. With one strong grip on her hands, Kagome could do nothing but whimper as Inuyasha continued to stare into her eyes. She could feel the heat of his eyes burning into her. She couldn't look away, looking away meant that she was afraid, and she wasn't.

She wanted him with all her heart and her love. Still holding her hands above her head, Inuyasha placed the tip of his manhood at the base of her, now, red and swollen lips. He experimented by placing himself to the hilt, connecting with a barrier that would break at the feel of him inside of her. Kagome moaned his name louder, losing herself in this moment. Inuyasha continued moving himself in and out of her but never going beyond her barrier. He is driving me crazy…PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE… With her hands still encased in his hands, she could do nothing but groan at the sensation building inside of her, as he slid in and out of her. Not yet, Kagome, Not yet Inuyasha contemplated as he continued his movements, still holding onto her hands. He could feel her almost at the edge, but then stopped, hearing a moan of protest from Kagome.

"Please don't tease me, Inu-" Kagome started to say, but was interrupted by Inuyasha's sudden thrust into her, breaking her, fitting himself into her. Kagome cried out, and Inuyasha took advantage of this by bringing his mouth, hard, down onto her lips. He moved out of her slowly and fully, bringing more moans from Kagome, and then thrust back into her. Kagome wrapped her legs around his hips allowing him to do as he pleased with her. My body belongs to you.

Still holding onto her hands, he continued to move inside her, filling her, feeling her tighten around him bringing him another level of pleasure. He quickened his movements faster, until each thrust sent her hips off the ground to meet his. Kagome gasped at each thrust, and with each gasp, Inuyasha delved deeper into her mouth, allowing her moans to be released into his mouth. Inuyasha thrust harder and harder until he could feel himself almost at the edge. With his other hand, he brought it between their heated bodies to touch the inflamed part of her to finally bring her over the edge. Kagome lost all her senses as she was thrown over the edge at the feel of him inside of her, as well as him touching her. Her eyes closed and fluttered opened seeing nothing but a luminous white light. She could feel Inuyasha's hips buck and finally he let himself go, releasing his seed into her.

He finally released her hands, and once he released her, she brought her arms around his back to pull him even deeper inside her. Finally together, Inuyasha purred at the feel of Kagome beneath him. This is how we are meant to be, Entwined forever, Kagome thought to herself, feeling Inuyasha buried deep within her. Inuyasha stared deeply into her eyes.

"Kagome, I love you, Always ", Inuyasha whispered as he settled lips on hers once more, and moved onto his side staring into her face. " I love you, Inuyasha" Kagome whispered as she settled herself against him, loving the way his body felt, when he molded himself into her. With that, her eyes drifted shut, leaving her to cling to his body. Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her.

"Always, Kagome, always", Inuyasha whispered to his sleeping lover as he continued to watch her sleep.

" Won't they get worried if we don't go back there?" Kagome asked as she was gathering her blouse and skirt from where it had been discarded. All the while, Inuyasha kept grabbing at Kagome, trying to pull her onto his lap.

"No, we have to go! Now, Inuyasha! They'll be looking for us," Kagome said as she finally wrestled herself out of his touches, because she could lose control of herself again, and she did not want the others to catch them bare and nude in the grass.

"Okay, my love, whatever you say!" Inuyasha smirked as he, without warning pulled Kagome into another passionate kiss. Before Kagome could even protest, she found herself wrapping her arms around his neck. Suddenly, as they were embraced in their kisses once again, they heard a rumbling in the bushes.

" They must have gone by the lake"

"Well, Sango, if you want a bath, I would be more than happy to accompany you-"

"Miroku!" Sango yelled as she smacked him upside his head.

"Why don't you go look over there and I'll look- Oh!" Sango gasped as she bumped right into Kagome. With that, Miroku came running through the bushes to learn as to reason why Sango had cried out. What he found were Kagome and Inuyasha.

"Hey, Kagome, we came looking for you…we were worried that you didn't find Inuyasha but I can see that you did" Miroku replied.

"Yes, I did!

"We're fine, so we can head back with you" Inuyasha replied quickly.

"Okay" Sango replied as Kagome and Inuyasha stepped in front of her to walk back to Kaede's hut. But as she was walking, she noticed that Kagome's blouse was on inside out.

"Uhhhh…Kagome-" Sango began to ask.

"Yes Sango, what is it?"

Before she could say anything, Miroku wrapped his arm around Sango, bringing her attention to him, then to Kagome. Sango quickly became furious but realized Miroku's implication, and rather hastily said" Ohhh…nothing"

"Okay, then…" Kagome smiled to her as she continued to walk along side Inuyasha.

Well out of hearing distance, Miroku whispered to Sango" So when are we going to-" but before he could finish his thought, Sango, once again, gave him a slap and stormed off to meet Kagome and Inuyasha.
