InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Everything's Black and White ❯ Kagome's Tears ( Chapter 1 )
Falling: Chapter 1: Kagome's Strife:
A/n: Konnichiwa, Everyone. This is my first Inuyasha story, so please be nice if you review. I will accept flames, if you really think it's that bad that you need to flame me severely. But constructive criticism would be a lot better and it woiuld help me become a better writer. So....please review, I do accept anonymous reviews, so if you think this story is good, bad, cute, or whatever...Please review it! Thank you so much! As for what Inuyasha was doing in the beginning, it was Kikyo's fault, so believe me, she will have a part, and Inuyasha will be forced to choose between them by Chapter 4. Anyway, here you go!

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha, or anything else related to it. I do own my own character, Aki, but she won't appear until at least chapter 4 or 5.
Kagome ran from the clearing, tears streaming down her cheeks and falling onto the forest floor. She ran straight ahead, not turning back, not looking back. She wanted to leave what she had seen behind her. The only noise that she could hear was the pounding of her heart in her ears. She sobbed silently, and she just kept on running.
She knew she was being followed, but her follower was the last person she wanted to see right now.
"Kagome! Wait!" she heard the familiar voice of Inuyasha calling to her.
She ignored his plea and kept running, faster this time.
She arrived back at their camp, rushing past her other friends, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo.
Shippo got to his feet and chased after her, as fast as he could. He jumped onto her shoulder, not letting her out of his sight again.
"Kagome-chan! Are you alright?" he asked, in a concerned voice, with a worried look on his face.
"No..." she sobbed and fell to her knees, causing Shippo to tumble off her shoulders and to the ground.
"Oww..." he mumbled.
"Lady Kagome? Is everything alright?" she looked up to see the faces of her other companions, Miroku and Sango.
"No!" she cried, and began sobbing into her knees again.
She looked up again, and narrowed her eyes. Inuyasha had entered the camp again.
He walked closer to her, a concerned, and semi-hurt look on his face.
"Kagome...." he said softly, leaning down on his knees next to her.
"Get away from me." she said, her tone reserved, and an exasperated look on her face.
"Kagome...Don't do this to me..." Inuyasha trailed off, looking helplessly around at Miroku,Sango and Shippo..
"GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!!!!" she screamed, and pushed him out of the way, jumping to her feet. She rushed towards her bicycle and she jumped on, making sure she had her backpack, bow and quiver of arrows with her. She hadn't noticed that Shippo had jumped into the basket on the front until she was half way to her destination. The Bone Eater's Well.
'How dare he do that to me...After what I've done for him. Of all the nerve....' she thought to herself. She was angry, and she jumped down the well, leaving her bicycle, but bringing everything else. Shippo jumped down after her, landing on top of her backpack.
"Shippo-chan! What are you doing?" she asked, her tone was full of distress, and indignation.
"I'm coming with you Kagome. I'm not letting you leave us again. So if you go, then I'm coming with you." he said, his tone firm. She couldn't help but smile, hearing something like this coming from him.
"Gomen*, Shippo....but I think you should stay here. I don't need Inuyasha following me." she said, a sorrowful look fell upon her face.
"Alright Kagome...but you have to promise me you'll come back!" he said, throwing his arms around her neck.
"I will! I promise." she smiled, returning the embrace.
Shippo let go of her neck, and looked up at her. He was sad because she was sad.
"Kagome? What happened between you and Inuyasha?" Shippo asked, unsure of how she would react.
"What else? Kikyo. She came, he went running to her. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of her, I'm sick of him always running to her." she growled angrily.
"I'm going home now Shippo. Good bye..." she smiled at her small kitsune of a friend and she disappeared to the other side of the well.
She climbed out after the familiar feeling of falling through soace, and she sat outside the well house, thinking.

Inuyasha sighed deeply from his perch on the tree branch, above Miroku and Sango's heads.
'I did it...again. I let Kagome go again. Even after I promised not to leave her. It was Kikyo's fault. She's not the same Kikyo I knew so many years ago. She's dark, sad and evil....Naraku. I will eliminate him....' he thought to himself, images of Kagome flashing through his mind.
"I wonder what fate has befallen Inuyasha this time..." whispered Miroku to Sango, who's eyes were closed. She just simply nodded.
