The next four weeks flew by quickly. From the time Inuyasha came to our company, we almost tripled our work load. Apparently, people prefer his business then others. “It's all about who you know, and Inuyasha gets around.” Sango said to me when I noticed how busy we've been.

 

`He sure does get around.' I thought to myself. We both decided to see each other, you know take things slow, which is great for me. The sad thing is we have been too busy to even get a bite to eat let alone anything else.

 

For instance right now I'm in the meeting room helping Miroku and Inuyasha with three big contracts. And at the end of the month they both will be going to Italy to assist some actress start her first book.

 

“How's Kouga's book turning up?” Inuyasha asked looking through his reports.

 

“I only have half of it. The stuff I have seem ok I guess. I told him that he has two months, and only one more meeting which is today.” I replied

 

“Well then, Miroku I want you to take over Mr. Wolfe's project. And tell him that his request for an extension, and pay advance has been denied.” Inuyasha said as he continued reading.

 

“What! Excuse me sir, I have been handling it.” I said. Mind you I don't like Kouga, it was my first project that I did myself and I am proud of how his book is actually turning out.

 

“No offense Kagome, you've done an excellent job with him, but I see in his file that the last three books didn't make much money. He has also had two extensions and one pay advance from this one. I'm saying that it would be better for the Head Editor to call him and tell him of this situation. It really has nothing to do with your work.”

 

“I see, Ok then.” I said not really knowing what to say. I know there's more to it but both men seem to agree with that idea. What's going on?

 

“I'll get to it today. He's supposed to meet Kagome in an hour.” Miroku said Getting up. “See you in a couple of hours.” He said.

 

I was about to get up too to leave when Inuyasha stopped me. “I think you need to stay here. Actually if you wouldn't mind, this would be a good time to go to lunch don't you

think?”

 

“Sure, but your paying.” I said as I got up and grabbed my suit Jacket from behind the chair.

 

 

Normal POV:

 

Kouga was in the elevator with a smile on his face. He knew today was his lucky day. Today was the day he was going to propose to Kagome. She will see his ring and the flowers in his hand and she will know that he definitely is the one man for her.

 

“Some women need more convincing then others.” He said out loud. He hoped he wasn't moving too fast for her, but they have been dating for three months now, and he figured they could have a long engagement.

 

As he headed to her office, he noticed the stares he was getting. `There jealous' he thought. As he knocked on her office door, he took a sniff and frowned. He opened the door to find Miroku sitting on Kagome's chair looking at him expectantly.

 

“Aw, for me you shouldn't have.” Miroku said sarcastically.

 

“Where's Kagome?” Kouga asked

 

“Sit down Mr. Wolfe we have to talk about your book.” Miroku said and Kouga complied reluctantly.

 

“Is this going to take long?” Kouga asked.

 

“Actually as long as you want it Kouga, we are here to help you out.” Miroku replied smiling at him.

 

`That damn Han you has her. Well he won this time.' He thought to himself, but managed to stay calm. He was the better man. How bad could this meeting be? In the end he'll come out of top.
