2: Kiko's Fears
When Kiko woke up, she smelled the scent of Wolves. She jolted up and looked around.
"So you've finally awakened Kiko." a familar voice said.
"Ko...Kouga?" she asked. She tried to get up but Kouga layed her back down.
"No you shouldnt move Kiko. You're body is still filled with some Miasma. I've called Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Mutt-face to come and get you. What happened to make you run like that?" Kouga asked. Kiko looked down.
"I dont want to talk about it." she said plainly. *Sorry Kouga...I dont want anyone but me involved with this....* she thought to herself. Kouga looked at her with concern. He didnt know why she didnt trust her with her problems.
"Does it have anything to do with that stupid dog-boy?" he asked. Kiko's heart sank. She knew he hit the spot. A tear began to fall down her cheek. Kouga lifted his hand to Kiko's cheek and wiped the tear away.
"Kouga...if you dont quit saying that about Inuyasha...I am going to rip your throat out and feed it to you dogs!" she defended. She couldnt believe that Kouga STILL has a grudge against Inuyasha after another 50 years have passed. Kiko got up and went to the mouth of the cave and jumped out. Kouga was amazed. He remembered that she didnt smell the same. She had a half-demon scent to her.
*~Meanwhile at Mitsuki and Sesshomaru's house~*
Mitsuki was crying and crying cause her friend was missing.
"How could I miss her. I dont know how I didnt notice until now."she cried.
Sesshomaru conforted his wife.
"Mitsuki, I am sure that she is fine. Kiko can take care of herself. You and I have witnessed this. Trust me. I am positive she is fine." he said. Just then Inuyasha came busting through the door. He looked worried.
"Have any of you seen Kiko around?" he asked with a worried tone. Inuyasha looked at them and they never looked back.
"Where is she? Please tell me she came by here..." he said. He began to smell blood. He jumped out the window and ran into the forest. Sesshomaru jumped after Inuyasha.
*~Meanwhile at a tree in the forest~*
Kiko looked at her wounds. *Stupid bird....." she thought. She had gotten in a fight with a youkai bird. It took a big chunk out of her arm. She looked around for something to use as a turnacate. Her vision began to blurr. *Oh shit. My vision is blurring. I need to stop loosing blood.* she thought to herself. Then she passed out. Inuyasha found her passed out by the Goshinboku(sp?). He looked at her arm and saw a turnacate. *Her arm almost got bit off.* he thought to himself. He picked Kiko up and took her to their house. He layed her on their bed and began to stich the wounds. When he was done, Kiko stirred. He felt her head and noticed she was running a fever. He put a cool piece of cloth over her forehead. Kiko stirred again. *Kiko...I dont wanna lose you. Your the only thing I got left.* he thought.
"I love you Kiko. Please dont die on me!" he said. Then he layed by her and fell asleep. When Kiko woke up, she saw Inuyasha sleeping beside her. She smiled and looked around. *I cant believe how quiet it is.* she thought to herself. She layed back down and fell asleep holding Inuyasha. When Inuyasha woke up and looked at Kiko, she was sound asleep. He looked at her and smiled. *Oh Kiko...I love you so much* he thought. He layed on her stomach and heard a noise. He pulled his head up in surprise. *Is she pregnant? Is this what she was hiding?* He thought.
Thats it for Chapter 2! Whew.....thats alot of work and progress....I love it though. People dont hardly listen to me but ya! Please Review my chapter! This is my first work and I actually like it.
