~~~Right don't ask me what this is. I wrote it ages ago and thought I'd post it. It's very short and I might make it a story if I have time. I have a lot of crap to put up with right now so we'll have to wait and see. Tell me what you think. I understand that it might be confusing but hey lets say it's based on life then. If you think it would make a good story you can read the summery it kind of hints at where I was going with it.~~~

Faith

It's not a surprise when they stop and stare. They can see my nerves, its pretty clear. Eyes drawn to the ground as the rain falls down as if it's the most remarkable thing around. No it's not a surprise when they stop and stare.

I turn a corner slowly my hands shaking, my face white, blank even. My lashes coated with drops of water. Perhaps innocent, a false innocence but innocent still. Is this a curse? My curse? Will I feel weighed down forever? Alone… carrying this punishment for What!? My suppose-ed gift. HA, some gift. I'm not normal, not human even. A joke that's what I am.

Another sigh escapes my lips, or is it my own? I don't know anymore.

"Why don't you believe in yourself, have faith. You never know what will happen if you do."

A voice and its not my own. I smirk.

"Faith, faith does not exist and never will for the likes of me. Use your time wisely sir." I wait for a response.

"Ah but I seem to be curious. You see I only wish to know why you stand here clearly cold with nothing to shield you from the rain."

I can feel myself become irritated, who is this stranger who talks to me so confidently. I turn around. Golden eyes gaze back at me.
