InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Fate Found Us At A Bakery ❯ Chapter 1
He had never thought that he would run into that girl again, it seemed that fate though, was on his side. Hiroshi smirked to himself as he sauntered over to the table in the far corner of the bakery. The girl with her long umber hair pulled back into a ponytail, looked to be rather immersed in her book. Her brow was furrowed and a frown of concentration was pulling at the corners of her mouth.
“That must be a good book” Hiroshi proclaimed. The girl flicked her cinnamon gaze at him before returning to her page, not even responding. The boy let out a dramatic sigh, and slid into the seat across from her, balancing his elbows on the table, and resting his chin on his clasped hands.
“Say it’s quite lovely weather we’re having, isn’t it?” He tried again. The girl looked up at that, one eyebrow raised in question.
“When’s that last time you went outside, cause on this planet, it’s raining,” She replied. Hiroshi chuckled glancing out the window to confirm this.
“Aha, so it is,” He returned. He cleared his throat and leaned back in his seat, folding his arms across his chest.
“Do you come here often?” The girl looked up at him, exasperation clearly written on her young face.
“Yeah I do, to do my homework in peace and quiet. So if you don’t mind,” She said, trailing off and lifting her book for him to see.
“Oh, right, of course,” Hiroshi said, smiling broadly. The girl sighed and returned to where she had left off, while Hiroshi sat back, his fingers tapping a rhythm on his arm.
The girl’s eyebrow began to twitch in time to his fingers, before she sat up, and snapped her book shut, dropping it onto the table.
“You are unbelievable, can’t you take a hint,” She all but shouted. Hiroshi just smiled and reached across the table to grasp both of her hands tenderly. The girl was caught of guard for a moment, before her brows lowered.
“What are you doing?” She asked venomously.
“You are such a truly beautiful woman, and I would be honored if you were to,” Here he paused leaning closer to her, his azure eyes sparkling. “Bear my child”
Hiroshi didn’t remember how he ended up on the floor, whether he’d fallen or been push, but his temple throbbed as he reached up to brush his fingers over the large bump protruding from his forehead. He blinked and looked around for the girl who’d come to him as such a challenge. He grinned when he found her still in the same seat, her face beet red as she tried to hide behind her book. He straightened and brushed the dust from his clothes before taking his seat across from her again. He cleared his throat, gaining a cool stare from her.
“So, can I take that as a yes or no?” The girl took a deep breath, looking ready to shout him out again, before she let it out slowly, one corner of her mouth lifting with a reluctant smile.
“You are such a lecher”
“Ah,” He said. “That is so true”
