Kagome stood by the well, her green skirt fluttered in the wind, her hair swayed slightly framing her face, her eyes held the story of a broken heart and tears that had yet to be shed. She held her ground and refused to cry, at least in front of him. InuYasha was panting heavily as he stared at the woman he had fallen for. They stared for a moment before InuYasha braved the silence and spoke.

 

“So that's it? You're just gunna leave?!” he asked hoping that it wasn't

 

“InuYasha, please don't make this any harder then it already is” she begged

 

“Kagome I can't just stand by and watch you leave.....” he opened his mouth to say something else but decided against it.

 

A single tear trickled down Kagome's cheek as she walked over to the desperate man in front of her.

 

“InuYasha... I'm sorry but this is how it was supposed to be”

 

“Kagome please... don't leave... don't leave us” don't leave me he added silently.

 

“InuYasha, everything that ahs happened to us was because of fate. Meeting you and Sango and Miroku, even meeting Shippoe and Kilala has changed me to the person I am today. It wasn't chance that I fell threw the well, and it certainly wasn't chance that brought us together” she cried.

 

“Kagome, please don't go. I don't want you to leave”

 

“InuYasha you have Kikyo” she added as-a-matter-of-factly

 

“Maybe I don't want Kikyo! Ever thought of that huh?” he screamed in a desperate attempt to stop her

 

She turned around but only for a second. In that second she saw years of love and pain all stored up and love was staring down at her.

 

“Inu..Yasha” she managed silently

 

“Kagome please.. don't leave me... I..”

 

“You what?”

 

“I.. I lo.. “

 

“What InuYasha?”

 

“....”

 

“Well if you're not going to say it.. I need to go” she sighed brokenly

 

She turned around and climbed over the edge of the well

 

“I LOVE YOU” InuYasha screamed “I LOVE YOU DAMNIT” he screamed praying she would somehow hear him

 

Kagome landed on the bottom of the well in her time...

 

“I love you InuYasha” she whispered as if he was to hear it.

 

 

A/N yea ha short I know but that's what ya get when I have two days to pack and clean my monstrously dirty room and finish stories buy the ass load lol yea well if you want a sequel to find out what happened .. R/R
