chapter 3:

 

~ A not so emotionless Sesshomaru~

Three days had past.Her wounds were cured but she hadn't seen Sesshomaru since Jaken gave him the news.Only Jaken came to her room to bring her food or fresh clothes.She was allowed as well to use Sesshomaru's bath (more kind of hot spring) but she never saw him around.It looked like he was avoiding her.But why?

 

Kagome was in her bed.She stood up and walked to the window.She saw Sesshomaru.He was in a garden of beautiful flowers and was using a sword to shreding the little soft roses.

 

-“Why father?Why?..Why did you gave me a sword that I cannot use?..Why a healing sword? ” and he threw the sword.

 

Kagome quikly ran to where Sesshomaru was.Now he was leaning against a tree.He smelled her coming near him.

 

-“Stay away from me human…”

 

The girl just continued to walk and was soon near him.

 

-“I could kill you in a jiffy…” he continued

 

-“Then why don't you do it?” Kagome said and kneeled.

 

-”Do it! Kill me!

 

Sesshomaru was amazed.How courageous…How intriguing…he was less mad just hearing her foolish words…but was this human a fool to not know who was she talking to?He could have killed her…but why didn't he?He looked into her eyes and saw she wasn't afraid of him…actually she was smiling.

 

Sesshomaru was so beautiful…so beautiful when his emotions betrayed him…he was very different of the Sesshomaru that she knew…the cold person (youkai) who would have killed her if it wasn't Inuyasha to protect her...

 

-“You now what Sessmoharu-sama, I think everybody has moments when one feels alone..But I want you to know that you're not alone!” and she put her hand on his shoulder.

 

Sesshomaru examined the girl's face.Kagome had no idea what to do next…she was a little afraid at how he would react.But Sesshomaru just pulled her to him and wraped his hands around her.His head was resting on her shoulder.

 

“No..this can't be” Kagome thinked…”Sesshomaru-sama???”

 

He didn't said a word…the girl was dazed…

 

A month had past since the girl was with him and Sesshomaru felt more confident then ever.He knew that the girl was his weakness but he couldn't get enough,he wanted to spend as much time as he could in her presence…He liked watching her as she was runing thru the garden or sleeping on his shoulder.

 

He would put a soft kiss on her temple and the girl would groan.He loved everything about her..her smell (the only human smell he could stand; her smell of blossom flowers),her kindness,her courage…everything…but she felt her cold,sad…He would have gived his life to know why she was upset…To know how he could help her..But she just sat in his arms and cried…

 

That morning ,as they were walking thru the forest the girl took him to the Bone Eater's well.She told him that she missed her family and friends…and she wanted to see them.The well was a portal to her life..her real life…Sesshomaru was looking into her eyes…

 

-“My love isn't enough?” and he let go of the girl's hand.

 

Kagome was just amazed

 

-“Do you love me?” she said looking at him and turning his head to meet her gaze.She took his body in a embrace.

 

-“I love you too…” she put her head on his chest.

 

He kissed her forhead.

 

-“Then..don't leave me…”

 

-“Sesshomaru…” the girl was crying.

 

He wiped away a tear from her face and pushed her to the well

 

-“Go!”

 

The girl was just looking at him and didn't knew what to say.

 

-“Just go …” he said again and pushed her into the well.

 

Sesshomaru was looking coldly at the bottom of the well.A small tear left his eyes:

 

-“I will never love again…”
