Inuyasha's keen senses told him that they were soon to have company so he woke his mate and they dressed in a hurry. But right before the door slid open he caught Sango in a soul searing kiss. He loved the way she melted into his arms, responding like a true mate.

- Inuyasha? Sango? it was Miroku's voice.

- Yes houshi-sama, answered Sango a bit out of breath, something that brought a arrogant smirk to Inuyasha's face.

- Can I come inside?

- Yes.

Miroku came inside and saw Inuyasha stand behind Sango, his hands rested on her lower stomach. A black jolt of jealousy was present inside his heart, but he pushed it back. "I will not succumb to such foul and earthly feelings." He thought as he moved to sit down on the floor. He saw Inuyasha sit down and take Sango into his lap. The way the hanyou cuddled the taijya made Miroku want to rip something apart, but still he pushed back his black feelings.

- Sango-sama, he began with a soft voice. - This humble monk of Buddha wants to beg for forgiveness.

- Miroku-sama?

- I will not lie to you two, I still feel disappointed and hurt, but I will…. I will acknowledge your union. And I will give you my blessing. Now that I see you two together I know that you are perfect for each other, said Miroku and bowed down from his sitting position.

- Thank you Miroku-kun, said Inuyasha, surprising both Sango and Miroku. - You have our forgiveness.

- Thank you Inuyasha-kun. But I will not say that I have forgotten about Sango, because I have not. But, I will try and work my way trough it, said Miroku with grave voice.

- Miroku-sama… breathed Sango.

- I am sorry Sango-sama, but that is the truth… I still…. I want you Sango, I can not deny that. But I will not do try something as long as my senses are my own.

- Well, after have said that - Sesshoumaru-sama wants us to be ready in two hours. His nose has located Naraku, and my guess is that the final battle with our arch enemy will during tomorrow's early hours, said Miroku and rose to his feet.

- We will be there Miroku-kun, said Inuyasha.

The monk nodded and disappeared. Sango shivered as she realized that the energy in the room was still very chilly. She cuddled closer to Inuyasha, wanting to seep up some of his strength and warmth.

- Do you think we can get him Inu-chan? asked Sango.

- Who? Miroku? asked Inuyasha with a teasing smile.

- No… Naraku.

- Of course, what does he have that have not?

- Ten thousand demons and tentacles, snorted Sango and moved from his lap.

- Does he have any formations that we have? Does he have the love and compassion that we share for each other? Since my brother and I have become true brothers, you and I have found each other, Kagome has a fiancée, and Miroku…

- Yeah, what does Miroku-sama have…?

- A bad habit and two wanderings hands. But I am sure that he will found that certain someone someday.

- I am too Inu-chan, but right now?

- I would not worry too much love; come let us go to the others ok, said Inuyasha kissed Sango light on her lips.

Sango nodded and let her hanyou lover lift her up to be carried outside. She made one last look around the room before he exited. "I think I will like living here." she thought and softly smiled.

They met the others in the dining room. They ate their food and Sesshoumaru talked about how to go about to defeat Naraku.

- Me and Inuyasha together with Kagome will take Naraku, if we put our sword's powers together I am sure we can weaken him enough to let Kagome-san's purifying arrows to the rest. But we need a clear path to him, and that will your duty Miroku-san, with your wind tunnel you can easily do that, said Sesshoumaru and nodded towards the monk.

Miroku shook his head. The poisonous bees would not allow that at all he explained to Sesshoumaru. The lord smiled and nodded as he clapped his hands and a young servant quickly came into view. The servant gave Miroku a small bottle with a green liquid.

- This is an antidote; my servants have made it just for you Miroku-san, drink it and you will be able to take on the bees, said Sesshoumaru.

- Then I will clear a path for you, said Miroku with a smile and took the bottle into his robe.

- Good, now… as for Sango, you will keep your brother from the battlefield together with Kagura and Kanna, Ah-Uhn will help you with that. He has very powerful rays that can come in handy.

Sango nodded, she could do that.

- Good, any questions?

- Have you not forgotten someone niisan? asked Inuyasha with a low voice.

- No, I have not. That will not be a problem, said Sesshoumaru and knew that Inuyasha was hinting towards Kikyo. - If she is as close to Naraku like I think she is, she will be destroyed together with him.

- I understand, said Inuyasha.

- I have Kaede-sama's blessing to deal with it, said Sesshoumaru.

- Good.

Sango frowned; she did not like the sad expression on Inuyasha's face. She had to talk to him about this. To be totally honest, she had forgotten about the undead miko and her relationship with Inuyasha. This could be ugly unless it was dealt with.

Shippou and Rin were crying, they wanted to come with them. But after a few explaining words from the stoic youkai lord, the children nodded, they would remain in the castle together with Jaken and the other servants. They would be safe here.

Sesshoumaru hugged the little girl tight and walked over to Jaken.

- Come Jaken, I have something I want to talk to you about, said Sesshoumaru.

- Yes Sesshoumaru-sama?

Once they were out of hearing range Sesshoumaru stopped and turned to the small green demon.

- If anything should happen to me Jaken…

- No… nothing could happen to you… you are Sesshoumaru-sama!!

- Jaken, listen - if - any thing should happen to me and Inuyasha…. I want you to raise Rin to be the lady of the Western land. She is kind and she does not judge people for what they are, she sees them for who they are. And if I do not return, just Inuyasha, he will be the heir to my lands. Do you understand this Jaken?

- Yes Sesshoumaru-sama, I understand. But you will come back won't you?

Sesshoumaru nodded, he had not planned on anything else, he just wanted to make sure that his lands was not without a ruler.

- I will obey your commands if things call for it, said Jaken and bowed to his lord.

- Thank you Jaken.

They went back to the group and they bid farewell to the children and the staff of the castle.
