Aqua eyes met amber as the two prepared to fight. “It's time you die, dog,” the wolf youkai proclaimed. No response came from his adversary. “Talk to me, mutt! How do you feel? Are you afraid? Cause remember, mutt, if you lose the fight, you lose Kagome.” His opponent smirked. “As if I'd ever lose to the likes of you, Kouga!” “ It's not just about Kagome. It's about Rin, too. Your wolves hurt her once. I'm gonna make sure they never hurt anyone else again,” he added in his mind Kouga snarled. “If you're so sure of yourself, great lord of the western lands, then fight.” Sesshomaru took his position opposite Kouga, hand on Tokyjin. “Gladly.”
