Kagome looks at the time and realizes she has time to get a cup of coffee from the Corner Café. She pulls up, walks inside, orders a cup of coffee, and walks out.

 

“Nice car”, said a long, white haired boy.

“Ya, it's my baby”, Said Kagome.

“You new around here”, Said the boy.

“Ya, I just moved into Mrs.Dabar's old house”, she said

“Really, I live across the street”, he said

“Cool, I'm Kagome by the way”, said Kagome

“Inuyasha”, he said shaking her hand.

“Well I got to go to school”, she said.

“Where”, he ask.

“School”, she said.

“I mean where at”, Inuyasha asked.

“Oh, the high school on third street”, she said.

“Cool I go there”, he said.

“Cool, well I go to go to school. Don't want to be late the first day”, Kagome said.

 

As they go their separate ways they think almost the same thing.

Kagome thinks: He is so hot!

Inuyasha thinks: She is fine!
