The shrill sound of a gun went off ejecting Kagome from her hunting dreams causing her to scream. The sound sent chills down her spine it echo throwing her back into the one thing she ran from…..her self. `I can't take it anymore, what's wrong with me? Why is it that I can't seem to just forget about that day?! I've work so “HARD!” A warm liquid began to sting the back of Kagome's eyes. She tried to hold the liquid that brought a salty stench to her nose, but the emotion was just too strong. She tried to bring a steady hand to her face to wipe away the rachid liquid but failed poorly. She tried to rock her self back to sleep being aware of the people next to her.

 

“Kagome what's wrong? Why are you….crying? What's the-”

 

“It's nothing Sango I just…it was a- an-another nightmare and in it I was him. I saw and he…..wa-was doing the same thing he always did h-he…..he was holding me down and you were passed out on the floor and Rin was….she was just coming in and he got off of me and jumped on her and he…”she broke off in fits of dry throat sobs she began to shake uncontrollably waking the frail women next to her.

 

“Kagome what…..what's wrong with her why is she crying what's going on Sango tell me is it the nightmares? Is she having them again?” Rin began to babble. Rambling on about how it was ok but knowing that it was far from just that

 

“I don't know what's wrong w-wi-with me I ……I keep having the same nightmare over and over and I just can't seem to get over it. What's wrong with me some one tell me please….p-“

 

Sango held Kagome slowly rocking her back and forth grabbing Rin's hand she pulled her into a hug too. All three girls sat there holding each other rocking back and forth slowly. Trying to forget the past but knowing that they couldn't.

 

`We all lost a little bit of out innocents that day and became dark and dirty that's what we are and will always be.' They all thought.

Inuyasha awoke to a gun shot then nothing. `I might as well get up and see what the leach is up to.'The sound of a girl yelling broke his train of thought. Next came the over whelming smell of tears.” What in the hell? Who is crying like that and why?” He wasted no time in pulling on a pair of pants and walking over to his roommate's door and raping on it ever so lightly (not lol).

“Come in.” Miroku said wiping the sleep out of his eyes.

“Did you hear the shouting?”

“Yeah I did. I was just about to get up and go and get you” He said tying his pants.

“Good. Do you smell that? Please tell me you do?! It's the sent of tears and its strong. Real strong. Are you coming? I don't want to go by myself. I don't know what I might see and I don't think I really want to go look.”

 

“Your right it might be some man that has beat down his wife and she might need our help.”

“Yeah well let me get my brother and then we'll go.”

“Yeah do that. We don't know what we might see.” Inuyasha walked over to his brother's room.

“Yo, fluffy get up! I know you hear the yelling and I know you smell the tears.” He opened his brother's door to find him pulling on his pants.

“There had better be a good damn reason why those girls are yelling the way they-“he was cut off by the foal stench of tear.

“Lets go.” He said in his normal icy tone.

Kagome had long stop crying .now the broken sobs of Rin and Sango tang in her ears. The voices from out side her door was all that her mind could focus on right now.

“Sango do you hear that?”

“Yeah, it sounds like men two no…three.”

“What should we do?” Rin's small voice barely being heard.

“We need to get rid of them.”

“Yeah, but how?”

“Let's… lets go.” Rin said her voice no longer small but broken and filled with sadness. The girls walked to the door wiping there faces trying to rid them selves of the liquid that pooled over the bream of there lids once more.

“Can we help you?” Kagome said with irritation filling in every word.

“Umm yeah we heard yelling and then my friends over here smelled your tears and we just wanted to see if you all were ok.” Miroku said in his most concerned voice.

 

“Say you can see we're ok.” Sango said sniffing

 

“You ok then why are all of your eyes red and why is it that the smell of tears is so overwhelming and-“

 

“Say no more! We are fine it was just a nightmare I had that is all ………..please just leave us.”

 

“Fine where sorry we bothered you. By the way I'm Inuyasha and this is Miroku and this is my brother fluffy.”

 

“My name is Sesshomaru.”

 

“Kagome”

 

“Rin”

 

“Songo”

 

They said there good nights and Kagome closed the door `If only they new

Then maybe….'
