Final avengement 8: Enter Kikyo

About a year or so passed since the cave incident. Still no more Jewel shards. I think that Kouga's, as well as mine, are the last four. Sango had returned to her village, so we simply had to walk on foot. I had not been attacked much. Each time, me and hikari had been able to fight them off. Today however, we were attacked by niether, youki, hanyou, or human. But an undead human.

I felt some arrows pass me by, and it wasn't Hikari.

"You sense it?" I said. I turned around, and hikari nodded.

"It's undead. Human to. I can feel it" Hikari said. suddenly, I heard another voice.

"Quite right. Young one" A female said. suddenly, she was infront of us. From what she was wearing, she was a priestess.

"No need to introduce yourselves. But for me, I have to. My name is Kikyo" The woman said. Kikyo, now why does that name sound so familiar?

"I don't trust her" Hikari said. Now I remember. Uncle sesshoumeru warned us about her. My eyes then zero'ed on her.

"No need to be angry of such sort. All I want, is to simply talk with the children of Inuyasha" She said. so she did know my father. Hikari was about to strike her, but I put a hand out, telling her not to. I sat down.

"Tell us more, Kikyo" I said. Hikari the whispered something in my ear.

"You are a real sucker for women, aren't you?" She asked me. I shrugged it off.

"I knew both of your parents. Both at separate times, I wanted dead" Kikyo said. My anger built up a bit.

"I was once tricked to kill you father about 75 years ago. I shortly died after that. Then when your mother entered the picture It was out of pure jealousy. But I can understand Inuyasha's motives. He loved all of life. It's a shame that he isn't here" Kikyo said. I was so mad now, but I am incapable of harming a woman who isn't a demon.

"I'll ask of you this once. Don't say anything bad about our parents. I saw our parents die right before my eyes, against a demon called Naraku" I said. Kikyo smiled.

"When will he ever learn. Another thing you should know. Kagome is my incarnation. Whenever I die, I will be brought back, as well as another incarnation, until I am wished to be dead forever. Only the Shikon can do that, which is why I'm trying to make another. I want both Kagome and Inuyasha to be happy, and hell isn't the place for that" Kikyo said. Maybe we can trust this one.

"Well, you have my trust for now. But Screw up, and I'll do to you what I did to Kouga. And being you aren't a demon, you wouldn't be able to handle it" I said. Kikyo smirked.

"Try me. As long as I have souls in me, I can't die. But there is no need to worry about me. All you can do, is trust me. You see, Naraku was once a human, called Omijumo. One human who was in love with me. Because of that, I doubt Naraku can kill me. Inuyasha promised to protect me, despite the fact he was in love with Kagome. I've been living in fear for the past year, and I want Naraku more dead then you do. I don't care who is the one who kills him, but my soul will not rest until he's in hell" Kikyo said. all of what she said was all true to me. Just the mere mention og his name brings a deathly feeling to my demon heart.

"That makes three of us" Hikari said. I was surprised. But for now, I have to agree
