Chapter 6- The Lizard Youkie

 

 

 

They had only been gone from the village a few days when a lizard Youkie attacked them. The attack took place right after Kagome said that she felt a sacred jewel shard. The lizard ambushed them from the woods. Luckily for Lirriea she was already in her wolf form when it attacked. It went after Lirriea first; biting down on her leg it picked her up off the ground. The lizard was the size of a large horse, ““Inuyasha it has a jewel shard in it's tail!”” yelled Kagome. Inuyasha heard her and wasted no time cutting off its tail. When he did the lizard roared dropping Lirriea and Sesshoumaru caught her before she hit the ground. Sitting her on the ground so she could help them fight, he left her side to go fight the lizard.

They finished off the lizard and got the jewel shard. Afterward they set back off on the road. Nobody noticed that Lirriea was traveling quite a bit behind them until Sesshoumaru looked back and could not see her. ““Where's Lirriea?”” he asked. ““Last time I saw her was when she was behind us.”” stated Inuyasha. ““I'm going to go find her.”” said Sesshoumaru.

He went back and saw she was coming up the trail. She was limping quite badly and he could not tell why. He was answered when the smell of blood came to his nose. He didn't know where she had gotten hurt at until he thought back. ``Of course! The lizard youkie. They had forgot completely to check Lirriea afterward.'' He should have checked before they left. He picked her up when she got to where he was at. They would have to treat the injury immediately when he got to Kagome and the others. When Sesshoumaru got back they stopped long enough for Kagome to tend to Lirriea''s wound. Then they were off again.

Inuyasha: Hey Sesshy! This is a really good chapter!

Sesshy: Thanks Inu!

Inuyasha: Except for one thing.

Sesshy: Huh? O.O

Inuyasha: They were not enough action in it.

Sesshy: -_-

Inuyasha: What's that looking for?

Sesshy: Why are you criticizing my work?

Inuyasha: Cause I wanna.

Sesshy: You're making your self look bad in front of viewers.

Inuyasha: What Viewers?
