Kagome is very depressed after seeing Inuyasha and Kikyo kiss once again.

I don't own Inuyasha and Kagome I'll just borrow for alittle while. They make a VERY cut couple. This is my very first story, so take it easy on me…please.

Now on with my story.

That's it, I have had it. Kagome thought to herself. As she was quietly crying. It has always been about Kikyo and it always will be about her. There is no-room for me in Inuyasha's heart for me. Kagome thought bitterly. He alwayed loved Kikyo and always will only love her. Even when, he had foundout about Kikyo giving the shards to Naraku. And the fact that she tried to kill me. And yet, he still defends Kikyo. Kagome was in deep thought when Sango came over to the campfire. Inuyasha and Miroku knew they should let them talk even Shippou and Kiara knew. Inuyasha knew Kagome was still upset with what she had seen the day before. He had told Kikyo he still loved her and he smelled Kagome's scent. Before he actually knew what was happening Kikyo enclosed him into an embrace and then she had kissed him. He didn't move away, push her away or anything. Kagome had ran away from they're showing of affections. For then, Inuyasha had looked last where Kagome had stood, she was gone. Now, a day later, Kagome still couldn't look Inuyasha straight in the eye. Inuyasha kept gazing over at Kagome. Sango was the first one to break the silence; she, Miroku and everyone knew something had happened between Inuyasha and Kagome, which involve Kikyo.

Sango: Hey Kagome, you want some fried fish? You haven't eaten all day.

Kagome: No, I'm not hungry, Sango.

Inuyasha look at the same time as Kagome finally decided to look Inuyasha's way. They looked at each other, Inuyasha quickly looked away. It was late in the night; Shippou, Kiara, Sango and Miroku all have but fallen asleep. Inuyasha still couldn't meet Kagome's eyes. He was clearly upset about something. Kagome could see several emotions play across Inuyasha's face. What happened next startled Kagome because it was silent then she heard Inuyasha speak for the first time since yesterday.

Inuyasha: Kagome…you should eat something.

Kagome: I'm not hungry besides there's a lot on my mind.

Inuyasha looked over Kagome, he gazed over Kagome and she noticed.

Inuyasha: Kagome, you're not going to be any help if you pass out. You bitch, if you don't eat something soon you will pass out. God damn it to hell. Kagome was taken back. In an instant, Inuyasha embraced Kagome with enough effort to creak her ribs. She tried to back away from him again. But Inuyasha was to strong, to fast for her.

Kagome: No, I know what I have to do…Inuyasha. I don't need to eat right now; I need to go, Inuyasha. Inuyasha just stared at Kagome taken back.

Inuyasha: How long?

Kagome: I don't know. Maybe three days, maybe a week. And what should it matter to you? In your eyes, I am just the jewel dector, Inuyasha. You just said, "I won't be any use if I don't eat. Well I have news for you. You want the shards that badly. Well there's know reason for me to stay here anymore,

Inuyasha: How can you say that?

Kagome started crying again, she sobbed quietly a few tears went through her eyes, wetting the grass below her.

Kagome: Because it's the truth. You don't need me anymore. You have Kikyo…she is much better than I am in everything, Inuyasha,

Inuyasha: That's not true, Kagome.

Kagome: yes it is! I am going to go now. Don't kid yourself .I need to move on, forget you and I can't do that when you're always here.

Inuyasha looked away from Kagome, he smelled Kikyo. Kagome knew it was Kikyo. She had had it.

Kagome: Inuyasha, go be with Kikyo.

And with that said, Kagome dashed off leaving a very confused Inuyasha behind. Miroku, Sango and the other's still hadn't woken up yet.

Inuyasha knew why Kagome ran off so fast because she didn't want to see that same kind of scene again. Inuyasha ran, he knew he was faster than Kagome. He arrived at the well before Kagome did; Kagome was very shocked when she came upon Inuyasha.

Kagome: Inuyasha what are you doing here? Kikyo?

Inuyasha quickly ran over to Kagome, scared to see her cry again, scared that she would suddenly disappear, scared that she would ran away from him again. He held onto her for dear life, not wanting to ever let go.

Inuyasha: I am where I want to be, Kagome.

Kagome: what? Inuyasha?

Inuyasha pulled away just enough to look into Kagome's eyes.

Inuyasha: Kagome do you really truly want to forget me?

Kagome couldn't take this. Her heart was pounding so hard against her chest, his eyes pouring into hers never leaving her gaze. Kagome started to get nervous, and in a fast reply, she though she could do it…say yes and be done with him. However, she tried to work her voice but nothing came out. And then her voice suddenly worked as she finally told Inuyasha.

Kagome: yes. She said franticly.

Inuyasha wasn't convinced at all.

Inuyasha: Damn it, Kagome, stop lying to me. Inuyasha pleaded and swore to Kagome.

Kagome: Why should I? You made your choice… with Kikyo.

Inuyasha: And it's still about Kikyo, huh? I didn't say anything about Kikyo. I know I didn't, Kagome.

Kagome: Listen its all water under the bridge.

Inuyasha placed his hand on his heart then Kagome's. Kagome backed away as she gave him this look.

Inuyasha: I am NOT that leach, kagome. I would never do anything like what that so-called monk would do. Do you want to forget me in here too?

Inuyasha was now pointing to Kagome's heart with his other hand.

Kagome: Inuyasha… please stop…

Inuyasha: Do you, Kagome?

Kagome: I want to forget you. You are still in love with Kikyo. I want you to be happy, Inuyasha.

Inuyasha backed away just a bit.

Inuyasha: Kagome…

Kagome: I don't know why I'm saying this; but Inuyasha, I…I am in love with you.

Inuyasha stayed quit as Kagome pored her soul into Inuyasha.

Inuyasha: Kagome…I…

Inuyasha was about to say something but didn't Kagome cut him off.

Kagome: However, I don't want to be, Inuyasha.

Inuyasha: Kagome…

Kagome smiled and went down the well; afraid she wouldn't come back to him. When kagome arrived back to her time, she saw a note left by her mom saying everyone was at a party and would be back later.

Inuyasha came out of the well very pissed off. He ran and jumped up to Kagome's window and jumped though it. Kagome was crying on her bed. Inuyasha went over and put his arm on her shoulder.

Inuyasha: Kagome…you didn't listen to what I have to say.

Kagome sat up but refused to look into Inuyasha's eyes.

Kagome: Go ahead. Tell me how much you love Kikyo and how much you hate me.

Inuyasha: I don't hate you, I never did, even when we first met and you're right, I love Kikyo. And it's not the reason you think it is, Kagome. Kikyo died because of me and because she is my first love, I could never truly forget about her. But I…I love you now, Kagome.

Kagome: I have to be dreaming now, yesterday…yesterday I saw you and Kikyo kiss, you don't hurt people you calm to love, Inuyasha.

Inuyasha: What? Kagome, god damn it, I didn't kiss Kikyo, for the love of god. She kissed me, I didn't kiss her back.

Kagome met Inuyasha's eyes.

Kagome: Really, Inuyasha?

Inuyasha: Yes.

Before Kagome knew what was happening she was enclosed in Inuyasha's embrace and she felt his lips touch hers in a passionate, demanding yet sweet kiss, that neither one of them should forget, the love was denied for so, was finally revealed.
