The next day at lunch Miroku and Sango was kissing and touching under the tree and InuYasha and Kagome was looking at them with wide eyes.
"So, I guess last night was good.'' Kagome said.
Miroku and Sango stopped kissing and turned to Kagome.

They went to go sit at a near by bench and started to talk and every now and then would reward themselfs with small kisses.
"Hey,Yash." Kikyo said walking up to their table.
"Oh, hi Kikyo'' InuYasha said.
''I just came over to say I am sorry for what I did the other night.''
''Apology excepted. Hey, that is really cool. Where did you get that from?'' InuYasha pointed to a gold bracelet that had hearts, stars, and cresent moons as charms on it.
"I got it from someone.''
Kagome glared up at Kikyo .
"From who?'' InuYasha asked curiously.
Kikyo glared Kagome back. "No one." Kikyo siad then stormed off.
Kagome gritted her teeth as she saw Kikyo walk away.
InuYasha turned to Kagome. "What's up with her?''
Kagome shrugged her shoulders. "So, what are we doing tonight?''
''Um.... I'm kinda busy''
"With what?''
''You know... stuff''
''What stuff?''
''Is it any of your bussiness.''
"Yes. I've had a bad experience so can you please tell me.''
InuYasha looked at her eager eyes. "I work at a retirement home.''
''Awww, that's sweet.''

''No. You'd probably get in the way.''

''Alright'' InuYasha had surrendered and leaned in to give Kagome a kiss.
Then the bell rang. InuYasha finished off their kiss and got up.
"I'll see you later.'' Then he left and went into the school and walked to his locker.
Kikyo approached him. ''InuYasha?''
''What?''
''Can I talk to you?''
''Class is almost starting.''
''I'll be quick.''
He sighed. "Okay, what is it?''
''I'm am truly sorry for the other night.''
''It's not your fault if you stormed out.''
''No, not that. I'm sorry for being such a whore. You taught me that I don't have to depend on my body to get a guy to like me.''
Kikyo got closer to InuYasha until they were almost centimeters from each other.
''Kikyo, I'm involved with....''
''Kagome. I know and I wouldn't jeopardize that for anything in the world.''

''I need help. InuYasha, you were the first guy who didn't try to have sex with me and I appreciate that. If I hang out with you, I know your goodness will rub off on me.''

Tears started to roll down Kikyo's eyes.
Even though I dislike Kikyo I simply can't see a girl cry.
He embraced Kikyo. "It's gonna be alright I'm here.''

Later on that night at the Charmers Retirement Home InuYasha was reading a book to a group of a elderly people. Then Kagome came from behind InYasha and threw her hands over his shoulders and kissed him on his cheek.
"You seem tired, do you want me to finish it for you?''
He turned to face her. "You don't have to.''
''I said I was gonna help.''
''Okay.'' He gave her the book she sat down and began to read where InuYasha left off.
He went to go sit down and rest. An elderly guy approached him.
"That's your girl.''
InuYasha lifted up his head to look at the old man then at Kagome. "Yeah, it is''
The old guy laid his hand on InuYasha's shoulder. "She's a good woman''
Then he walked slowly off to go sit down with the rest of the elderly people. InuYasha stared at Kagome as she read and smiled.
"She is a good woman and I'll never forget.''
Kagome turned to see InuYasha blowing kisses at her and she smiled.

The next day Kagome, InuYasha, Sango, and Miroku (who were making out again) were all sitting under the tree. They seemed to love hanging out just the four of them.
Then Kikyo came over smiling from ear to ear. "Can I join?''
Kagome was getting ready to say no, but InuYasha said yes instead. Kagome was shocked and stared at Kikyo and InuYasha talk and laugh like her and Inuyasha used to do. Kagome sat on the side not saying a word.
''I have to go. Nice talking to you, InuYasha.'' Kikyo gave InuYasha a small peck on the cheek making Kagome's eyes fill with shock.
InuYasha waved goodbye as Kikyo walked away waving back. He turned to Kagome only to find her face filled with anger and sadness.
"What's wrong?''
''What was that?'' Kagome responded with a angry tone.
"What? Kikyo can't hang out with us."
''No, she can't.''
''Why not? I don't judge who you hang out with.'' Then he looked over to the kissing couple who stopped to see what the arguing was about.
''You just don't understand!" Kagome cried out.
"I understand that you're jealous.''InuYasha got up and walked up the steps into the school.
"Why won't you tell him what happened?'' said Sango
''It's not that easy.''
''He has to know what she did to you.''
Kagome put her head down then got up and walked away to sit at a secluded bench.
"It's been about a year since Kikyo betrayed me.''
*FLASHBACK*
Kagome was talking to a tall guy who had medium length light brown hair, brillant green eyes.
"So, what are we gonna do tonight, Hiroshi?"
"Umm.. I got football practice.''
Kagome eyes lowered in disappointment. "What about tommorrow?''
''Umm.... I got practice tommorrow, too.
''But tommorrow is Saturday."
''Weekend practice, you know how it is being a wide reciever"
"Okay.'' Hiroshi leaned in for a kiss on the lips but just kissed on her cheek leaving Kagome more disappointed. He began to walk out of the door of the school library.
"I love you." Kagome yelled out to him.
"Cool.'' was all Hiroshi said back.
Kikyo ran joyfully up to Kagome. "Hey, Kagome.''
"Hi, Kikyo. I got a new charm for our friendship bracelets."
Kagome dug in her pocket and pulled out two gold hearts and handed one to Kikyo.
"You put on mine and I'll put on yours'' Kikyo said happily taking the charm.
"Great idea.''
Kikyo put the heart charm on Kagome's bracelet and Kagome did the same. Kikyo lifted her wrist as the charms jingled.
"It's perfect.''
''You wanna have a girls night out since Hiroshi's being a busy body.''
''I'm busy with helping my mother with spring cleaning tonight.''
"It's fall.''
''We like to start early.''
''Okay, how about tommorrow?''
''I have to visit my Grandma.''

Later on Kagome was sleep in her books. Then Sango suddenly woke her up.

''I've been studying late'' Kagome said tiredly and then she yawned and stretched. "So, why are you still here?"
''I had volley ball practice. Hey, you wanna go out to a nice diner and we can invite Kikyo, and maybe if he gets his act together, we can invite Miroku.''
''Kikyo's not gonna make it. She's busy.''
"It'll be just us three."
"I don't think I will go either. I'm stil kinda tired"
Kagome got up and grabbed some books and yawned. She waved Sango goodbye and sluggishly walked out the door. Kagome shivered as the cool fall air hit her. She hugged her body and began to walk. On the way home Kagome passed Hiroshi's house only to find a black corvette sitting in front of it.
"That's Hiroshi's car! They must've got out of practice early.'' She ran to the house and knocked on the door.
"Hi, Ms. Motusuko. Is Hiroshi home?"
"Yeah, he's upstairs in his room."
Kagome went upstairs. "I can't wait to see his face when I suprise him.''
She opened the door only to find Hiroshi and Kikyo in the middle of a heated make out session
"What in the world is going on?" She shouted. The anger boiled in Kagome's veins at the sight before her. She couldn't believe her eyes and she really couldn't believe that the two people she loved the most were betraying her in the worst way.
Hiroshi quickly got off top of Kikyo to face Kagome.
"I'm so sorry, Kagome.'' Kikyo said.
"Sorry? How dare you! We're supposed to be best friends.''
''We are friends.''
"You could've fooled me.''
Kagome took off her bracelet and threw it at Kikyo as it landed on the thick sheets of the bed making a thump sound. Kagome's eyes filled up with water as she looked at Hiroshi.
"And you? I have nothing to say to you" Kagome stormed out the house crying.

'And that was the last time I spoke to Kikyo and we've moved our seperate ways but I won't forget what she did to me.'
Later on that day InuYasha was in his locker. "InuYasha?''
He looked up only to find Kagome. "It's you. What do you want?"
''I just wanted to tell you why me and Kikyo don't get along."
''What? Did she put gum in your hair or something?"
''Something much worse." Kagome said with sincerity in her eyes that made InuYasha listen to her.
"What is it." InuYasha he said closing his locker.
"Me and Kikyo, believe or not, were the best of friends. Our moms were friends forever so me and Kikyo were together ever since we were born. We used to do everything together. People used to say we look like twins or something, but then last year I had a boyfriend, Hiroshi, he was so handsome to me and I loved him." She paused to gather her emotions together.
"What does this have to do with Kikyo?"
"One night I went over his house only to find Kikyo and Hiroshi kissing. The next day she even told me that they had a relationship ever since me and Hiroshi got together. She said that the only reason he went with me was to get to closer to her. She said she was sorry and she said she didn't mean for it to happen. After that we went our seperate ways and never talked to each other again."
''So, you think Kikyo's gonna steal me away from you?''
Kagome bit her lip and nodded.
"Kagome, that's never gonna happen. I am with you and no one's going to take me away anytime soon."
InuYasha kissed Kagome on her forehead and embraced her in a loving hug. "So, you understand that you can't hang around with her anymore."
"What Kikyo did was wrong and it was last year. I know you may not believe it but Kikyo is trying to change herself of her ways and she wanted my help. I know you may not like, but you have to support me on this."
Kagome sighed. "I'll see what I can do"

Later on Kagome and InuYasha was sitting together in the assembly. Kagome looked over at InuYasha and frowned at the angrily disturbed look on his handsome features.
'I wonder what's wrong with him.'
She put her hand on his and gripped it. InuYasha perked up and turned to Kagome to find her smiling.
"Whatever's wrong it'll be okay." She assured.

Then a guy in a blue suit and and big dorky glasses came out on stage. Everybody started to boo him.
"Okay my young adults I'll show you a tape about a typical day in your school"
Everybody stopped booing and paid attention. Then a giant projection screen came down. InuYasha and Kikyo were talking by his locker on the screen.
InuYasha's eyes widened. Oh shit, that's what Kikyo's friends videotaped earlier. I can't let Kagome see this.
"Hey, isn't that you and Kikyo. Is this a documentary on how you helped her. That's sweet.''
"No, it's not lets go, Kagome."
InuYasha grabbed her hand and led her up the steps of the auditoruim towards the door.
"I want to see it."

Then Kagome heard gasps from the rest of the auditorium. She quickly turned around only to see Kikyo and InuYasha kissing on the screen.

Her mouth was open and she took in deep breaths. Then she fainted on the floor. Sango and Miroku ran up to her. InuYasha kneld down next to her. Sango kneld down also started to glare him down, but when she saw the hurt in his eyes, she understood.
''It's not my fault. You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt Kagome."

"I have let him do what he wants to do."
"If it was me, Miroku would have ended up on the floor."
Then Miroku came and wrapped his arms around Sango's waist from behind her."I'm gonna end up on the floor? Isn't that your job?" Miroku gave her sensual kiss on her neck.
Sango blushed a giggled.
"So, are you guys going to the assembly this afternoon?"
"I don't know me and Sango might be a little busy this afternoon."
Sango huffed. "Yeah in your dreams. Yes, Kagome we're going to the assembly."
"Alright I'll save a seat for you guys" Kagome waved goodbye and left.
Later on Kikyo and InuYasha were talking next to his locker. "Thank you for helping me and all.''
''No problem."
"You're such a good person." Kikyo embraced InuYasha, startling him.
"Kikyo, what are you doing?" She grabbed the bulge in his pants and began to stroke and massage.
"You like that don't you?"
InuYasha didn't even have words to say. Kikyo leaned in for a passionate kiss forcing her tongue his mouth.
InuYasha pushed Kikyo off of him. "What's wrong with you? You know I'm with Kagome."
"Not anymore." She said in an evil snicker.
''What the fuck are you talking about?"
"Did you guys get it?" Kikyo said turning to a wall.
Two girls with a camcorder came from behind the wall. "Yep, we got it."
''Let's see if that little girlfriend of yours will stay with you after she sees this."
"She was right you are a bitch."
Kikyo giggled and left down the hallway with her friends. "See you at the assembly"
Kikyo said over her shoulder as she walked out of InuYasha's sight.
"Shit." InuYasha punched his locker making a damaging dent.
Later on Kagome and InuYasha was sitting together in the assembly. Kagome looked over at InuYasha and frowned at the angrily disturbed look on his handsome features.
'I wonder what's wrong with him.'
She put her hand on his and gripped it. InuYasha perked up and turned to Kagome to find her smiling.
"Whatever's wrong it'll be okay." She assured.
InuYasha nodded and then sighed. 'That's what you think'
Then a guy in a blue suit and and big dorky glasses came out on stage. Everybody started to boo him.
"Okay my young adults I'll show you a tape about a typical day in your school"
Everybody stopped booing and paid attention. Then a giant projection screen came down. InuYasha and Kikyo were talking by his locker on the screen.
InuYasha's eyes widened. Oh shit, that's what Kikyo's friends videotaped earlier. I can't let Kagome see this.
"Hey, isn't that you and Kikyo. Is this a documentary on how you helped her. That's sweet.''
"No, it's not lets go, Kagome."
InuYasha grabbed her hand and led her up the steps of the auditoruim towards the door.
"I want to see it."
"No, you don't."
Then Kagome heard gasps from the rest of the auditorium. She quickly turned around only to see Kikyo and InuYasha kissing on the screen.
InuYasha turned around. "Kagome!''
Her mouth was open and she took in deep breaths. Then she fainted on the floor. Sango and Miroku ran up to her. InuYasha kneld down next to her. Sango kneld down also started to glare him down, but when she saw the hurt in his eyes, she understood.
''It's not my fault. You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt Kagome."
Sango's eyes grew softer. "I know.''
