Reborn
The light of the Shikon Jewel engulfed Naraku fully. A heart reaching scream was released from is bloody mouth from absolute agony. The pain how ever did not last long as Naraku felt his sole be ripped from his body. The pain faded to the back of his mine and warmth replaced it. `This is it.' He could not help but smile. `I finally get what I deserve.'
“And what is it you deserve?' A sweet kind voice asked softly. Naraku's eyes snapped open and connected with the priestess of the Shikon Jewel. She looked serous and he knows he would have to answer. He looked around himself and notices he was floating in a sea of nothingness it was like a lake of light. He know he was dead the lack of pain mad that obvious, but he has yet to cross over for he felt as though he was still alive.
“I deserve to die and burn in hell.” He stated plainly as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. In a lot of ways it should be, but who ever said the obvious thing was the right thing?
“You are wrong Naraku. You where only doing what you could to kill yourself in a less obvious why and in a why so you can join the one you love.” Midoriko stated. Naraku did not dine that because she was right. “The gods will not allow you to go to hell.” She informed him.
Naraku's head and eyes snapped to her and he glared at her. “Why the hell not?” He growled out. It wasn't fair! All his hard work after she left him to gain her back would be for nothing. She was supposed to be his and yet she wasn't. He wanted to spend the rest of internality trying to get her to realize no one can love her more than he.
“That is why.” She stated only to receive a confuse look form Naraku. “Your heart is far greater then you even realized. You where only allowed to love one, and you gave that one more love then she could dream of; but she was dark. You are not. You are just in too much pain to even function. Have you ever looked at the jewel while it was in your possession?” She asked. Naraku just stared at her. “Of course you did you never cared about it so never paid it much mine. You assumed that it went black, but it didn't it was a dark purple.” She said and Naraku's eyes widen.
“Why does this matter now? I am dead just let me be.” He cried out.
“I cannot do that. You pain purified the Jewel and ended the war I have been fighting. The demons could not tack your sorrow and killed them self if I wasn't so bent on helping you I might have join them.”
“I am glad my pain helped you.” Naraku mumbled sarcastically.
Midoriko smiled at him. “The Gods and I all agree that you life have been unfair to you. However your heart is needed in this world. It can heal, it can reassemble, and it can malt the hearts of others. There is one who needed the love you posses more than that ungrateful priestess. Only you can save those who you once called enemies. You will find love if you choose to live once again but if you chose to die you will watch many who you could have saved suffer.” She informed him with a sad look.
“We'll they love me back?” He mumbled with a sad look.
The priestess was quiet not shore if he asked what he thought he asked. When Naraku gave her a desperate look she knows he asked. “Yes they will. You'll have trouble though.”
Naraku stood and walked up to her. “What is the pint of loving if you don't fight for it?” he questioned.
Midoriko nodded in agreement. “From this point you will start your new life. You will remember everything but no one else will. The god's have given upon you many gifts that you will learn to control and love. Do not loose you love for that is your strongest weapon. Do not allow pain to rule you again.” With that she gave him a hug and sent him on his way.

The temperature was now different from what it was moments ago. The growing was soft and wet and the breeze went straight to Naraku's open cut. He felt him-self be lifted and token somewhere worm and comfortable. `I am reborn.' Was his final thought before he drifted in to a peaceful healing sleep.
