Chapter 2 part one:

*~*~Author's P.O.V~*~*

The Spirit Detectives were walking through the woods to go the Genkai's shrine (is that what it is?) With Yusuke complaining as always about there being way too many steps.

While they were walking they spotted a glimpse of red. Everyone thought it was their imagination or something until Kurama stated "I sense a youkai nearby mixed with something else." Being the not very talkative person or youkai in the group Hiei just nodded.

"Do you know where it's coming from Kurama?" Yusuke asked.

"Not really only that it's coming from the left of us" came the reply.

So they split into 2 groups (I think you can guess who went with whom).

*~*~*Yusuke's group*~*~*

"Urimeshi (sp?) I think I saw something over there" Yelled the big oaf.

"Well if there was anything there it ran away because you screamed you saw it baka" retorted Yusuke. The typical thing happened next they got into a fist fight (big surprise there).

*~*~*Author's P.O.V*~*~*

They searched for a while & ended up finding Yusuke & Kuwabara fighting as usual. Then they were ready to give up or come back later when the saw that glimpse of red again.

They followed it & found a flame red fox but something seemed different. "That thing has two tails!!!!" (Guess who) Kuwabara screamed. Yusuke then slammed his head into the ground to shut him up.

"*Muffled cursing" by Kuwabara.

"Did it wake up?" Yusuke asked while still holding Kuwabara to the ground.

"No it seems that it hasn't" Kurama calmly replied. Right as he was answering Kagome stirred, just a little. Like she was about to wake up. Hiei went right up to her & used the butt of his sword & hit her temple just enough so that she would be rendered unconscious.

He then picked her up gave her to Kurama & started walking back to the path with everyone in tow.

*~*~*Kagome's P.O.V*~*~*

I woke up in a room with sunlight spilling in on me & warming my fur. I didn't remember anything about going into a room. Was I captured? Where am I? What's going to happen to me? Is that voices I hear? I get off the bed a quietly trot over to the door & listen carefully. There were 4 boys & 1 old lady.

When I tried to get closer I stepped on a loose floorboard. The sound it mad was loud enough to me that the ppl on the other side of the earth could hear it. I tensed my body getting ready to run when they got out of the way to come see what the noise was. They did get up but the boy with the red hair that had a sort of pinkish tint to it went over to guard the door.

I decided to try anyway. So when they were almost to the room I sprinted out of the room so fast I thought no one would see me let alone catch me. But like always I was wrong the short boy with black spiky hair was able to keep up with me. I tried changing into my goddess form so I could fly away but I found that I couldn't. I wasn't calm enough; I was in a state of panic that I couldn't push down.

The boy with the spiky hair was getting closer by the second. I had to do something so I tried using fire attacks in this form. They wouldn't be as powerful as in my other goddess form but they could be if I had, had time train.

I concentrated on making a ball of fire on my tail & releasing it. It worked but the fire didn't hit him because he dodged. This is just great. I'm being chased by a youkai that is as fast as my in my Kitsune form if only I could change into my goddess form then I could beat this guy with ease. I thought frantically.

I looked behind me & didn't see him. I thought I finally lost him so I slowed a little because I didn't have complete power from all the changing yesterday. Then all I remember seeing is black...

A/N: I know really short chap but this is going to be a 2-part chapter & the second part will be out by this afternoon hopefully.
