"Where the hell is she!" A certain half demon yelled at no one inputicular."She should have been here by now!"The half demon,Inuyasha,kept yelling at how late Kagome was,again."Why are you so upset Inuyasha?I thought you wanted her gone after that little meeting with Kikyo."Miroku,Sango,and Shippo kept watching Inuyasha yell at how late Kagome was,but how can she be late when Inuyasha told her to leave forever and never return?After the little statement Miroku had said,Inuyasha had a flashback of what happened over again in his head.

"Kikyo,I will never love anyone other than you." Inuyasha had just said to Kikyo."Not even that copy that is supposed to be my reincarnation?" Kikyo knew Kagome was behind one of the trees and could hear everything that the two were saying.She also knew that Kagome started to have feelings to her former love,so she would hurt Kagome's feelings by letting Inuyasha tell her his feelings for her just for the joyment of tourturing Kagome."I only protect her so she can find the jewel shards.I would never fall in love with her as long as I have you." Inuyasha was telling Kikyo just what she needed.Kikyo gave Inuyasha another kiss and left with her soul stealers.Inuyasha watched Kikyo leave intil he caught the scent of Kagome and salty water.'Kagome is here.She must of saw me and Kikyo again and now shes crying.'Inuyasha thought to himself.Inuyasha turned around to be greeted by two brown eyes with water falling and a very sad expression on her face.He felt heartbroken when he saw her face."You were watching weren't you?"Inuyasha asked Kagome,still staring into her eyes.Kagome nodded."You also heard everything we siad also,right?"Kagome nodded again new tears forming in her eyes but she wouldn't let anymore fall.Inuyasha saw her fight back the tears and knew he was the cause of the tears.He told her to go back to the village and he'll be back in the morning.Kagome ran to the village to Keade's hut."Kagome I owe her.I'm sorry." Inuyasha said that as Kagome was running,yet he know she couldn't hear.

"Inuyasha,what happened between you and lady Kikyo?"Miroku asked Inuyasha to try to find out why Kagome was so sad.Inuyasha didn't want to talk about what happened so he ran away intil he felt at peace that the others would not find him.He climbed up one of the trees and hid there and thought more about that night and what he heard.

Kagome ran into Keade's hut.She was now letting her tears fall.Miroku,Sango,and Shippo became concerned when they say one of thier best friends,almost someone who was like family,run in with tears in her eyes.Shippo ran up and jumped into Kagome's arms and tryed to comfort her.Shippo didn't do very well.No one knew that outside in one of the forest's trees,sat the reason for all of Kagome's tears.Miroku asked what the problem was and Kagome told pieces of the story of what happened moments ago.Sango wanted to cheer up her friend so bad after hearing her story.Sango looked outside and saw there was still alot of light out."Kagome,would you like to join me at the hot springs right now to relax"Sango asked to help cheer her up."Sure" was all she said before getting her bathing items and leaving with Sango by her side going to the hot springs.Miroku knew not to peek on the girls tonight since Kagome was sad.

Inuyasha had followed the girls but stayed a distance away.He was hoppinig from tree to tree till he found a perfect place to hear the two teens but not see.'Kagome I'm sorry" Sango said."For what?Kagome's voice was sad,filled with loneliness and barely any emotion."For Inuyasha has made you feel.Kagome,everyone knows you care very deeply for Inuyasha and he has hurt you deeply."Sango had felt sorry for Kagome.She was like her sister and she hated seeing her sad."Kagome?"

Kagome looked back at Sango."Do you love him?"Kagome froze in her place,thinking.Inuyasha wanted to know how she felt for him,even if he might have ruined his only chance with her he still wanted to know."I thought I did" Kagome began"but now I never want to hear or see him.I thought I did but I thought wrong.I did but I believe I have given up my will for his heart and my will to try.I have given up my love for him" Kagome said.Sango was now more sad to hear her friend give up her will to love and sad to know how bad her friend had felt.Inuyasha had heard every word and felt even more horrible.He had lost her love and lost his chance to lvie a life with her.'Kagome I am so sorry for how I made you feel.I do want you to know I love you' he thought.About an hour went by and the two girls started to pack up and leave.Inuyasha hopped tree to tree back to the tree he was in earlier.

"Damn!I lost my chance with her and I might not get another chance!"Inuyasha was feeling horrible and felt more like running on for days on end without rest just to keep his mind off of what had happened.He kept remembering what happened over again in his head.
